Pros: Beautiful property! Great location; within walking distance to main areas, gorgeous views, excellent service, cleanly and comfortable.
Pros: Located across from the ferry terminal and nearby to some nice dining. The hotel is really modern and rooms are nicely done. The bed is very comfortable. Great shower and amenities. Breakfast is a buffet with make your own orange juice and option for omelettes to be made to order. Very good breakfast.
Cons: We just passed through Heraklion from Chania to get to Santorini. Did not stay there long but did not seem to be a vacation hotspot. Would prefer to not make my own orange juice.
Pros: Great service, nice room.
Cons: Noisy at times as located in the proximity of the airport. Then again so is almost all of Heraklion and the windows keep out most of the noise. The step up chair provided in front of the bathtub to climb in and use as a shower is a nice touch but I prefer a separate shower without the climbing exercise.
Pros: excellent & clean hotel. amazing location.
Pros: Exceptional facilities and service Lovely location Brilliant food Welcoming atmosphere. Comfiest bed you will ever find. One of the best all round experiences we have encountered - and we travel a lot! This is a five star hotel which actually deserves its five star rating.
Pros: Loved the cookies at check in, amazing breakfast, confy bed and ammensties and modern decor. Fluffiest towels, robes and slippers! We only stayed for one night to be nearby the ferry (which we walked to)
Cons: The area didnt seem that safe - tons of grafitti and a few beggars, but We didnt feel threatened in any way.
Pros: The room is ok. Breakfast is good, but one time have small problem after that
Cons: I think hotels like this, must have more personal. When you are arriving, no personal on the door or near. Only girl on reception. And so windy on the first floor.
Pros: everything was just perfect
Cons: there wan nothing not to like. everything was more than ok

Pros: Very clean, comfortable beds
Cons: Narrow streets around hotel for driving
Pros: The lovely room - comfortable bed - great bathroom - coffee machine, fridge and kettle. And of course, the staff, who were very kind and helpful.
Cons: Almost nothing - this little hotel is a gem...
Pros: Very friendly staff, close to main areas of town for shopping and eating, nice rooms, nice roof terrace overlooking the Aegean
Pros: Excellent mid range hotel with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast
Pros: Warm welcome, exceptionally comfortable beds, well appointed bathrooms, good showers, quiet room.
Cons: The pillows are a bit bouncy for me. Some of the rooms, the shower door doesn't close well so the floor gets wet. But these are minor.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. The room was new and greatly designed
Cons: The toilet-bathroom was not perfectly clean
Pros: A consistently good hotel in the great location for a good price. We have stayed here many times and while we stay in other places from time to time we keep coming back here. Breakfast gas improved since last year & is v good.
Pros: The hotel was obviously loved by its management and it showed, it was immaculately clean and the rooms really made use of limited space
Pros: Great location, great breakfast, very clean and lovely, very helpful staff.
Pros: good breakfasts, delicious cakes, fresh juices and fruit. Very good location, close to everything, 500 m bus station, major museums, sea
Pros: It's really close to the city center and the sea, the breakfast is really good and the staff really kind!
Located in Malevizi, this beachfront property is in the entertainment district and within 3 mi (5 km) of Ammoudara Beach, Pankritio Stadium, and Theodoros Vardinogiannis Stadium. Hania Gate and Kapetan Mihalis Korakas are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Cons: the bathroom, comfort of the beds and smell of the entire place. The lighting in the hallways was dark. The bathrooms were extremely small and the photos highlighted were for the deluxe bungalows which was falsely advertising what to expect.
Pros: Modern eating area, very nice staff. Food was good
Cons: Bathroom smelled like sewer, we had to have the door closed. In the dinning area the “children’s “ corner only had fried food, didn’t have vegetables soup for kids and the soups they had during our stay (mushrooms and fish) were too salty. The pool bar food area closed at 5pm but if the food finished earlier, they wouldn’t refill it.
Pros: - The staff are brilliant. Not only are they some of the friendliest I’ve ever met, but they also seem to have a genuine enthusiasm for their jobs. - the food was really good. They always had such a great selection for every taste. - there’s a lot of options of things to do and activities. - the massage was really good! And I thought, decently priced. - the evening entertainment was always fun. They got some great acts and the resident performers were absolutely lovely, and very good to watch. We loved their Disney themed night!!
Cons: - The cocktails need a lot of work. I never thought you could get a Cuba Libre so wrong until I went to Agapi... - the room was very outdated. I felt like I was on a cruise ship in the 70s (and not in a cool stylish way...)
Pros: - nice staff - great location - nice hotel area - rich offer within all inclusive
Cons: - the choice of food practically did not change - water in the children's pool was too cold
Pros: We arrived at 2 in the morning, sandwiches and a bottle of water in our room. Charming atmosphere. Excellent abundant food. Friendly happy staff. And a Cat Cafe. All the essentials for a very happy, relaxing stay.
Cons: Bed was a little firm.
Pros: Amazing location Food very good Service very good
Cons: There is no room service 24/7 But anyway I received good service .

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour business center, and express check-in. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Staff were very attended
Cons: The transparent shower cubicle
Pros: The staff were exceptional. The location is perfect for exploring Heraklion on foot. Breakfast was excellent - a good selection of foods.
Cons: The rooms need some tlc. The flooring in the bedroom and bathroom needs replacing. The shower floor and the wash basin also need replacing. Better duvets would also be good. No body lotion which is highly unusual, especially for a 5* hotel.
Pros: Room was good quality
Cons: Breakfast room was not particularly attractive
Pros: This is an excellent hotel in a very convenient location for sight-seeing. Everything is nearby and close to the waterfront. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: A bit pricey bu you would probably expect that for a five-star hotel.
Pros: Everything. Breakfast was especially good. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Nothing negative. A bit pricey but that is what you expect for a five star hotel.
Pros: The check in time was in the afternoon but we arrived from the ferry at 07:30 in the morning. The staff invited us to have breakfast while our room was being readied and we were shown to our room by 09:00. It allowed us to rest for a while and then venture into town. Staff were all very polite and helpful. The breakfast was simply outstanding with wide choice and extensive.
Cons: Nothing really!
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: Nothing. All good
Pros: 1. excellent breakfast 2. nice room, however a little bit noisy (neighbours above us) 3. nice roof top area
Pros: The room with view to the port and mountains, the receptionist very helpful.
Pros: Good location - easy to reach from the national road and airport very close to the heart of the city. Very clean. Large shower. Private parking, but very limited.
Cons: This was a very dissapointing stay for us. I would say this is a good 4* hotel, definitely not 5*. Overpriced for what you get. Pools closed in december, you could not even go to the rooftop for views. The bathroom was really bad and small - it had no door. Slow wifi. Breakfast was very dissapointing. Food waas evry average and the person who was supposed to make eggs to order was never there (we stayed 5 nights). Coffee was made to order but some mornings it was jsut terrible. Noisy - you can hear the airport in the harbour view rooms.
Pros: First Rate Hotel, lovely rooms, very accommodating employees, centrally located with view on the harbour.

Pros: Breakfast was great and the staff is friendly and very helpful
Cons: The room we had was a bit small bu that wax our only complaint

Cons: Rooms were rather small
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even provided breakfast to go boxes for an extremely early morning excursion. It was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast selection and food was delicious and abundant.
Cons: I wish the pool was heated!
Pros: Awesome stay, friendly staff, clean and upscale
Pros: Very clean, great staff and an excellent breakfast
Cons: Room was a bit small but ok
Pros: Good location and about a 20 minute walk into the centre of town. Nice restaurants within walking distance.
Pros: entrance, reception, facilities, location,
Cons: very very small room and bathroom like in Ibis hotel, waitress in bar not very kind to customers, breakfast not enough big for 5 stars hotel
Pros: location is good
Cons: small rooms and did not match the photos. Reception staff need a good lesson in courtesy.
When you stay at Civitel Creta Beach in Malevizi, you'll be on the beach, within a 5-minute drive of Pankritio Stadium and Hania Gate. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The staff, the pool, the quiet in all the resort
Cons: There is no normal wifi in all rooms as writed Not close to city center, beach is not so clean and inviting.
Pros: We had a half board package , there was one night when the buffet was very good , the other nights and breakfast were not of a good quality ... coffee was barely drinkable
Cons: Beds were very uncomfortable , ...could be cleaner ... bathrooms very run down
Pros: Every thing was perfect for us, great food, lovely sea on your door step . Not crowded, long expanse of sandy beach which was clean. All staff bending over backwards for us. We will be back next year for longer!
Cons: absolutely nothing. any one who finds fault is a git!
Pros: Very taste food. Friendly staff. Good location...
Cons: Animation in the evenings was only 2 times per week. Poor wi-fi anywhere in the hotel area.
Pros: The location was superb. The bus is right in front of it so you can go anywhere from there if you want to. The food is awesome. Everything is delicious, lots of choice as well, both, food and drinks. Overall would definitely visit again.
Pros: Very polite, genuinely helpful and kind reception and restaurant staff
This family-friendly Malevizi property is located on the waterfront, within 2 mi (3 km) of Ammoudara Beach, Pankritio Stadium, and Theodoros Vardinogiannis Stadium. Natural History Museum of Crete is 2.7 mi (4.3 km) away.
Pros: Nice location near the beach. Hotel was clean. Room with sea view.
Cons: Food and Beverage is acceptable. Can be improved.
Pros: In general everything was as expected. The stuff is very helpful and the facilities are very clean.
Cons: Without being annoying, our room was a bit loud because it was next to the staircase.
Pros: Good food, friendly staff, lovely views.
Cons: Shower was broken.
Pros: We had a fantastic stay on Crete. The hotel is small but very cozy. It has a direct access to the beach, which was convenient for us with the baby. The staff is amazing and very helpful and the food was prepared delicious
Pros: Great price for the offer of all inclusive.
Cons: That everything felt a little bit more underrated as the stars given to this hotel. Despite a sign signalling that no sun beds are to be reserved ... nearly all were ahead of breakfast (despite only a couple of people using them). I think it's important to have hotel house rules but they should not just be window-dressing. Every guest ought to have a right to use all of the facilities. Reserving seats or sun beds is absolutely ridiculous and staff should (as the so-called rules by the poolside state) should remove the pegs that hold towels there. Or better still, remind guests on their arrival that reserving sun loungers/beds is against house rules. Certain cultures whether it be German or British have no right to impose such archaic traditions on any other holidaymakers.
Pros: It's my first ever trip to exact same summer destination twice in a row. As before, it fully met my expectation. The place is close to airport & the city, yet the beach is long and relaxing enough if you walk a few minutes any direction. The hotel's most valuable asset are the people working there. The staff at the restaurant - those you meet most often - are always friendly, quick and always ready to help. The bar team also deserves a 5*. The family rooms we stayed in were clean and comfy. Everything required was there. Cleaning raised no issues. Liked the food - didn't miss any particular kind if food. Was never hungry :) Exept for rare peak days, there were always sunbeds at the beach, though it's hard to fined >1 spare sunbed by the pool past 10am. There's small private car park for your car. Staff speak English, German and some speak French as well. A special thank you voes to the manager - Nikoletta - who's been very helpful in making some non-trivial arrangements for my family members.
Cons: Sometimes I missed the pool after 6:30 when it gets closed.
Pros: Delicious, amazing food, great variety! Very friendly and professional staff, very clean property, had a great time!
A stay at Lato Boutique Hotel places you in the heart of Heraklion, within a 15-minute walk of Heraklion Archaeological Museum and Heraklion Port. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location is great but really the best part of staying at Lato is the staff. I’ve stayed here a few times and what always stands out is the outstanding employees.
Pros: Wish we would have know the rooftop restaurant was closed for the season!
Pros: Super staff serviceminded clean and organized hotel. Brilliant location
Cons: Bathroom a little wet
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfast
Pros: Everything was fine and the breakfast was excellent
Cons: Cleaning was bad☹
Pros: Breakfast in Aroma and evening meal in the 'Brilliant' restaurant was excellent as was the location of the hotel. Lovely touch was having bread and raki delivered to our room shortly after check-in and, having fruit and wine left in our room on our wedding anniversary. Added bonus was the valet parking as the weather was so bad when we arrived we would have been soaked on arrival!
Cons: The bathroom lights shine through the glass into the bedroom so when visiting the bathroom during the night, the other partner was disturbed. Door stop in bathroom, although essential to stop the door banging into the toilet, was in such an awkward place, both my husband and I stubbed our toes several times. For a superior room, although comfortable, the bed could have been a bit bigger.
Pros: Cozy room, harbor view, balcony, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Cons: A bit self-consciously overdesigned
Pros: Service was good. Free parking in downtown Heraklion!
Cons: Decor is strange. Towels we're old (but clean).

This hotel has facilities measuring 280 square feet (26 square meters), including a conference center. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Central locations. Quiet hotel
Cons: Desk ordered airport service for double the price of a taxi. We specifically asked for a taxi and didn't know the difference until we had to pay the driver at the airport.
Pros: Staff very nice. Very clean. Good breakfast. Good place to eat across street. Walked all over town.
Pros: Checkin was smooth Family room quite good and appropriate for my family size of 4 Breakfast is standard
Cons: Twice our balcony door was kept open after cleaning which isn't desirable They should provide kettle in the room
Pros: Just a block off the main waterfront promenade. Friendly and extremely well located. Beautiful rooms and facilities. Best Breakfast we had on our trip.
Pros: Walk to city center or the water in less than five minutes. Walked with luggage from the port to the hotel in 15 mins. Great central location. Staff was very helpful. 12 euro cab ride to airport. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Rooms were comfy. Good water pressure.
Cons: That we had to leave.
Pros: Breakfast was nice ! Aslo the option to have to sit outside. We also had dinner coupel of times wich was nice. Family room was good in size. Only bath could be renued.

Pros: We only stayed at Kronos for one night - but the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. I explained to Maria that we were on our honeymoon and I wanted to make it special for my wife at each place along the way. Even though we had a short time in Iraklio, Maria went out of her way to buy flowers at a shop nearby and provide a bottle of wine as well. Location was perfect as well for us since we had to catch the ferry the next morning.
With a stay at Athinaikon in Heraklion, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Heraklion Archaeological Museum and Heraklion Port. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
Pros: Staff are amazing. Made good recomendations on places to go and see. The hotel was really good, clean and great value for money
Cons: Style of room could have been more moden
Pros: Staff availability and the breakfast.
Cons: Just the air conditioning a little bit noisy
Pros: Service was excellent. They offered umbrella, directions, map. Just a great place.l
Nestled on the beach, this Gouves property is within 3 mi (5 km) of Watercity Waterpark, Cretaquarium, and Dinosauria Park. Gouves Beach and Ekklisia Agios Konstantinos are also within 6 mi (10 km).
Pros: This is the definition for a resort that supplies anything you need. The food is great, the bar is also serving plenty of drinks and the beach & pool areas are amazing. Thank you for a weekend that we will never forget!
Pros: Great hotel with all what you need! The best food with a lot of variety, every time fresh and delicious. The rooms are very beautiful, big and clean (we had 3 rooms). The beach is wonderful with calm and crystal water. The staff is very friendly and nice. The WiFi runs very smoothly in all places. We checked in at 3.00 am and they waited for us with a delicious buffet and drinks. Also, we checked out at 5.00 am and they organized a great buffet. It was very beautiful and we enjoyed every second! Thank you very much for the best holiday and we will be back for sure!!
Cons: The animation team didn’t do anything to entertain guests. They had a program but unfortunately they did not respect it. It is very unfortunate since it’s a wonderful hotel with wonderful people.
Pros: We stayed in the annex building which was very modern and our room opened out onto the pool. The food was excellent and offered lots of variety. The pool and beach areas were clean and there were plenty of sunbeds. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons: We felt slightly ripped off with some of the spa prices - they were dramatically reduced the day after we purchased a treatment.
Pros: The staff were all so friendly, the food was tasty and plentiful. Even my husband, who eats mostly protein, had plenty of food to choose from. Sunrise and sunset was beautiful every day, and there were always beach chairs available.
Pros: Food and room very nice.
Cons: Bit noisy to have airport nearby hotel.
Pros: The staff were so nice and friendly at reception. They facilitated an early check in and on our last day were more than happy to let us have all inclusive all day if desired. All staff were friendly. The proximity to the beach was brilliant. It's a great little hotel.
Cons: The corridor was was dark during the day but that could have been due to an electric problem. The view and generator was bothersome.
Pros: Good place with all the amenities you would expect. Good place to relax.
Cons: The main hotel need a modernisation. Just a two stars hotel
With a stay at Eleni Palace in Malevizi, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Natural History Museum of Crete and Ammoudara Beach. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Nestled on the beach, this Malevizi property is 1 mi (1.7 km) from Ammoudara Beach and 2.9 mi (4.6 km) from Pankritio Stadium. Heraklion Port and Geoponikos Kipos are also within 6 mi (10 km).
Pros: The staff were happy, smiling and willing to cater to any needs/requests. The food in the restaurants was impeccable, always fresh ingredients with a good selection of Greek and international food. The packed lunches were good too. Light, nothing fancy but quite adequate. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh bed linen and towels. The beach towel service was very handy and a special thank you to the two ladies, Valentina and Ansi, at the resort's spa where we enjoyed a full body scrub and hot oil massage, foot and neck complete relaxation massage and an amazing facial lifting with natural Cretan oils and creams at a very reasonable price. Minas, the main bar barman and Vlad were also fantastic and with all the people here still remembered from one day to the next what we usually ordered to drink and where we had said we were going the evening before. Overall a very welcome relaxing week. Absolute nothing to complain about.
Cons: Not the resort's fault, but we prefer a compact sandy access to the sea. The beach is sandy but there are stones to overcome when entering the sea.
Pros: The food was OK
Cons: The night time entertainment was dreadful. The rooms were very basic with no pictures on the walls to break up the blandness.
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Old tired furniture , every where looked as if it could do with a coat of paint, door to the balcony was missing parts of it. could not get wifi in the bedroom - had to go out on the balcony to get any reception, food was always only luke warm, afternoon tea was a few sliced cakes and a plate of biscuits, sitting area inside was like sitting in a doctors waiting room, no flowers or plants - everything seemed to be cut back . Cost per night was too high for the quality of accommodation.
Pros: I liked very much that was very relaxing
Pros: Everything perfect inside the resort. Clean areal, very kind employes. Good and variety food.
Cons: Windy area. In september big waves and no possible to swim in the sea. On the left side of the beach some power-station in the view.

Pros: Great Location,Excellent relationship quality/price , Great Breakfast
Pros: Friendly staff and a good location in town for our visit to Heraklion.
Pros: Great breakfast and helpful staff.
Cons: Beds a bit lumpy and hard
Pros: As before this hotel is excellent, the management went above and beyond to make our stay as perfect as possible, very good breakfast ,excellent WiFi For a visit to Heraklion this is the perfect location
Pros: The location is with walking distance of the port, bus station, and local attractions. The staff was helpful in arranging an extra night there, and they were helpful in every way.
Cons: The bed was not as soft as I need with a sore back, but the room had lots of extra pillows.
Pros: Astoria Capsis is located in the heart of Heraklion near major sites and shopping opportunities. You can easily walk to a lot of archaeological sites like the former fortress docks & harbours. There are a lot places to eat and shopping close by.
Cons: No fitness center for exercise. There weren't a lot of choice for their breakfast. Can be noisy. My room had a noticeable sway for no apparent reason, possibly the foundation of the building was not stable.
Pros: Room size, breakfast, overall service
Cons: There was no bed quilts and we felt cold during the night
When you stay at Hotel Georgia in Malevizi, you'll be by the sea, within a 10-minute drive of Natural History Museum of Crete and Heraklion Archaeological Museum. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast was good and offered a good variety to choose from. The staff was friendly. The hotel is close to the beach and one particular restaurant really made our stay worth it. This is the "Nikoloudis" which has amazing local food for very affordable prices, great see view and very friendly staff.
Cons: I booked the first night as a separate booking (because the superior double room with see view was not available that day). This first night was cancelled the day before our holiday without warning and therefore we had to rebook something else in a panic. When we arrived at the hotel (the second night), the room we were given was not as described in the pictures, and it had a two single beds instead of a double bed which we specifically booked. We were offered to move to the room we actually booked but only the next day. The shower in the first room had mold and it was not appealing to use it at all. In the second room we got, there was still hair on the floor and the overall cleanliness was quite poor. The balcony door was broken and did not close (neighbors could theoretically come in via the balcony). We were promised that this would be fixed the next day but this was only fixed two days later. At least we were offered to use the safe for free (normally 2€/day) as a compensation. The walls are very thin and we could hear a lot of noise from other rooms. The cleaning was not done every day but I don't blame the cleaning lady as she is alone for 15 rooms or more and is clearly overworked. One day she had to prepare 10 rooms for new customers so did not clean ours. When it was serviced, the bed sheets were simply put on the bed, still folded and we had to make our bed ourselves. Moreover, all the towels we got were stained. I cannot understand how this hotel has such high grades even considering the good breakfast and nice garden and friendly staff. Quite a few other customers seemed to have complaints too.
Pros: The room, the food and the owners, staff, and the cleaness
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Clean room, well maintained. Beautiful bathroom with easy access to shower. Proximity to beach and shops. Great bar and restaurant below. Beautifully maintained garden and parking available. Too cool to use the pool when I was there but it looked very inviting.
Cons: Nothing it was all good.
Pros: The best cocktails!!
Pros: I’m impressed by the way they run this small Hotel, They truly love their Job, I never seen anything like it, Keep it up guys, All of You, even George, lol !!!
Cons: It’s hard to find a week spot, just because you’re overwhelmed by the great service, All this people do their chores, so well that if there’s something wrong, You just don’t notice!!!
Pros: We only stayed one night but it was if the staff had known us for a lot longer!

Pros: Perfect place! Very kind crew! We will visit for sure again!
Pros: Breakfast was fabulous. Staff are friendly .
Cons: Prices are crazy compared to local tavernas just in 10 min walking.
Pros: The extremely nice and friendly staff and amazing food!! All the services provided!! Loved staying there and would highly recommend it!
Cons: The cleanliness of the bedrooms.
Pros: The food was the only let down
Pros: Very good facilities - we enjoyed the pool and the beach access. The restaurants were also incredibly good and reasonably priced - the staff working at the Greek and Italian restaurants in particular were lovely.
Cons: I found that there were never enough people working at reception, which made it frustrating when we had to wait for over 20mins for a brief question. The staff in the breakfast area were also quite rude - they were more obsessed with clearing tables than actually noticing that we had left stuff at our table to go and get more food. We were not particularly impressed to come back to find another couple sitting there. We were also supposed to get a free 15min massage but were unable to do so as no one was there to actually help us book.
Pros: The place is very nice. It has everything you need for a good vacation: Sun, sea, amazing food, bar, garden. Very welcoming staff. The food is so great! The beds were comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot.
Cons: A lot of families with kids there, so if you want a quiet and romantic time spend with your partner it is not quite a place for you in this occasion.
Pros: The food here was pretty good. The pool was nice and deep. Our room was huge.
Cons: We booked a day at the spa and were forced to cancel with plenty of notice. The spa clerk began berating us about how bad it is for them that we cancelled. She then proceeded to yell at us and accused us of not having enough money for the spa. (We had already paid...) I brought this matter to the front desk and they did not care. That is not the mentality of a 5 star hotel. Then again, I don’t believe that this is a true 5 star. I would say it rates at a solid 4 star. Most definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here due to the attitude of the staff.
A stay at Mirabello Hotel places you in the heart of Heraklion, within a 10-minute walk of Heraklion Archaeological Museum and Natural History Museum of Crete. Featured amenities include express check-in, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
Pros: The hotel was clean and comfortable and the location good
Cons: No complaints
Pros: It's basic hotel but very clean - which is the most important thing in a hotel. The staff are very helpful.
Cons: Nothing, it's a great place
Pros: Great location, nice staff, room was exactly as I was expecting. Only stayed overnight for an early flight.
Pros: Friendly staff, great location
Cons: Power cut first night
Pros: Super staff. Super clean. Very close to a public parking. Very central and near the port.
Cons: Nothing really
Pros: We had a spacious balcony where you could sit and read or have drinks; we liked the tea and coffee making facilities so that we could have drinks whenever we liked. The room we had was onto a side street and was quietish. From the end of the balcony we could see the port. The hotel was well located between the more touristic areas and the port, just off El Greco Park . Staff wee pleasant and helpful. Hotel was reasonably priced.
Cons: The room was a bit small. The double bed was against the wall and there was no chair in the room but neither of these mattered to us.
Cons: Nice location, staff, clean room, balcony
Pros: The location The balcony The tea and coffee in the room The nice staff The balcony in our room
Cons: We could hear the noise from the corridor and the other rooms (luckily other people weren’t too noisy during our stay)

Pros: The crew was king, helpful, understanding and welcoming all the time. Adding to the fact that the food was good and versital and the location close to the beach, we couldn't ask for more (:
Cons: There were no nets on the doors and windows.
Pros: Comfortable stay, good location. Food good for A.I. Most staff were excellent but tall young barman had bit of an attitude issue at times.
Pros: I travel a lot and this was AWESOME for that money. We had all in. DELICIOUS FOOD since morning till night. Personal was very nice, they helped me with bus connection searching, baggage, parking of my quad, there was no problem with nothing - appreciate receptionist Despina oh my god she was superawesome. Really. About personal really best hotel I have ever met. Room was nice as you can see in the pictures. There are lot of shops and pubs, restaurants nearby. Two pretty beaches just next to the hotel (and others just 10 minutes of walk) or you can take bus or rent moto and go wherever you want like we did. I do recomend this hotel very much and I will come back I swear.
Cons: I liked it a lot as you can see but there are some little things which could be easily better for my next stay :-) We had apartment number 54 I think - just above sitting spot of hotel boss :-) - AC goes off if you open balcony door for few seconds.. ti would be good to set for example 5 minutes interval - Toilet seat does not stand vertically so you have to sit every time and its still falling on your back, omg :-) - When you go to balcony there is next balcony on the left and there is some spray left and rubbish from history - Too little rubish bin in the room - there is space for literally nothing - Blue/white bulbs in the room feel like hospital sometimes, warm bulbs are much more comfortable - Wooden ceiling is little bit dirty from the colour of walls, it would be good to clean it
Pros: The chef IS something to write home about!
Cons: Great staff and food. Wonderful beach right next to the property. Loved it!
Pros: Nice staff, especially waiters - super nice, friendly, always helping with smile! Good food (can't say healthy, but good), especially pizza, just amazing! There is a lot to choose from, you can always find something that will amaze you. Lots of desserts, including fruits, cakes and ice creams. Good coffee, I really liked it! The drinks like rum & coke also good, however each one had a different amount of alcohol in it. The wifi is accessible in most of the places. The entertainments were nice, during our 4 days stay we experienced two dance shows and a live concert, it was great to just sit and chill with a drink. Very nice all inclusive, lots of food and drinks, there is no way you are gonna be hungry there! Very comfortable beds!
Cons: Starting from the beginning, when we arrived the room was not ready yet. We were offered a lunch and still had to wait around one more hour. After that the lady showed us our room, the door was open. When we walked in we were disappointed. It looked like it was older than my grandma and didn't smell nice. We just left our things and went to the beach. When we came back the odor was killing (then I understood why the door was opened when we arrived)! It smelled terribly bad like MOLD, after a closer look we could see lots of mold in the bathroom, dead insects on the walls, dirty coach and curtains (with something that I guess was blood), DIRT EVERYWHERE. We even checked what we booked on booking.com, because it was unbelievable. We went to reception to complain, the lady didn't seem surprised or bothered. She wasn't even sure what mold is in the first place! Just told us to come in the morning. I couldn't sleep that night, it was so uncomfortable, the air conditioning was not working, the window was very small so very little of fresh air was coming in, with the feeling that some insects may come from underneath the bed. Terrible!!! The next day different lady at the reception kindly apologized and promised another room asap. We were moved to newly renovated room (the one we actually saw and booked on booking.com). There was less mold in the bathroom and air conditioning was working, the room itself looked cleaner than the previous one. Even though my boyfriend considers this stay pleasant, I wouldn't go there anymore. All that situation was nothing like relaxing holidays. Beside that, some general drawbacks: Overcrowded pool, with sunbeds "booked" with towels and other belonging by fatty Brits as early as 8 a.m. Freaking annoying! Food aiming at satisfy Brits, with all that fatty and unhealthy snacks, fries, bacon, "baked" potatoes drowning in oil, sausages, desserts with unreasonable amounts of sugar.
Pros: It was calm and nice
Cons: There was a little antisemitism from the reception
Pros: I liked that there was a more family oriented area of the resort and an area of the resort that was quieter and primarily without children. The coffee was really good and the maids were very sweet and did little extra things with the room that made me smile!
Cons: One of the bartenders was a bit abrasive and could brush up on his language and people skills.
Pros: The hotel looks good, and new. Staff was great
Cons: Our room was a bit hidden and slightly older (NOT OLD)than expected, but all in good and clean condition
Pros: The staff was very polite. The room was spacious we had nice garage and the food was great.
