6,3 Good
Pros: The hotel location and view was great. Right by the lake. Hotel was clean and well maintained.
Cons: Many of the advertised benefits such as 2 free drinks at the bar, welcome fruit, turn down service (dessert) were not provided. The manager said it was an old promotion. Furthermore, the lounge didn't operate at advertised hours and the breakfast buffet was so crowded that we didn't have a place to sit, not to mention a lack of food. To be fair, it was a Chinese national holiday. To add insult to injury, the pool was not yet open for the season, even though it was more than 25 degrees Celsius outside. An occasional smoker could be found in some of the corridors, although I do realize this is hard to control in China.

7,5 Good
Pros: Nice and quiet. Good facilities too
Cons: The cleanliness of the room can be better
7,9 Good
Pros: The room we eventually ended up with was quite spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom featured a bathtub, separate rain-shower as well as a separate toilet room with a very fancy Japanese style toilet. There are some nice parks around the area for strolls and a mall with some restaurants is only about 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The breakfast buffet is quite good, but can get crowded with a bit of wild-west feel during the holidays.
Cons: We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children through booking.com, however upon arrival we were told that the room we booked only had either one King or two single beds. This seems to be a major problem in the booking process, as this room was specifically suggested for the above mentioned 4 occupants by the website and included 4 breakfast. This seems to have been changed now, as I cannot find the same room category when I do a search now. After much discussion with the staff and looking at several room options, we were offered a suite for the same price, but had to pay for an additional bed for my son (230 RMB/night), which was a so-so compromise. One reason we chose this hotel, despite the considerable distance from downtown Fuzhou, was the nice outside pool featured in many of the pictures on the website. We were travelling there for the 1st of October holidays in China, which is still quite warm in Fujian province. Unfortunately, we did not find any information on this website that the pool is only open from June to September. We arrived on September 29th and were told, that the day before had been the last day with the pool open and it was closed earlier "due to the coming Typhoon". This was the second big disappointment of the trip, especially for my kids who were really looking forward to swimming. Their indoor pool was just not at all satisfying after that and we didn't even try it. The manager, who we had already occupied a lot during our troubles with the room ended up offering us a chocolate cake, which was delivered to our room the same evening. So we felt they were genuinely sorry for the troubles.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, perfect breakfast buffet, and as well dinner buffet. Location is OKAY, special to relax out of the city. The whole hotel looks well organized and stuff is taking care of it.
Cons: The out-door pool was already closed, even it had 30degree every day, but welcome to China.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The lounge at the 17th was great for work meetings. The restaurant has an excellent choice and variety.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Luxury
Cons: None
6,7 Good
Pros: the hotel was very clean and the internet was very good
Cons: The room temperature was set at 26 Degrees and could not be changed. The outside temperature was 22 Degrees so the room was unbearably hot. They did open the window and provide a fan which helped. They could not adjust the temperature as the whole hotel was set at 25 Degrees.

7,9 Good
Pros: Breakfast is great and room is comfortable
Cons: The staffs take a long time for us to check in and check out. The staffs were not friendly...
3,3 Mediocre
Cons: Small rooms and quite old bathroom. Almost no English speaking people at the reception desk. No international TV for business people, mostly local channels. No wide selection of breakfast for international travelers, mostly local dishes.
6,7 Good
Pros: The hotel location is excellent. The front desk staffs were friendly and professionally, and the house keepers were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Each time We requested some service, have to fill out the “thank you” notes on paper or online which asked by the staffs. It seems the hotel employee performance evaluate system depends on guests feedback only. Does it cause the employees asking the guests in person for good reviews right after the service was provided? Sometimes the guest was busy, it kind of bothering. I have been stayed this Best Western hotel before and It was a good hotel with high standards. However It was disappointed this time, for example, the bathroom shower area wasn’t cleaned in standard way, could see the hair leaves on the drainage hole for days, and the shower glass wall and door were dirty, it indicated that the area haven’t been cleaned for a period time.

6,0 Good
Pros: Location is not very important for us as we have transport ready. The surrounding area is quite happening. Night falls, the square next to the hotel has various events , singing etc that helps sooth a lot. Rooms are clean and reasonably big . The building and rooms are old though. I wrote to the hotel prior to my check in and the receptionist was helpful enough to call me call the way from China to ensure i get my answer. That's a big plus.
Cons: Upon check in, the receptionist could not see our booking specification about bed requirements and they are not able to give us a total price for our 5 rooms (as i need to verify against the total quoted in booking.) and that was quite frustrating. After i checked out, I have to call the hotel to ensure they provide me a BILL (not a single page of paper was given to me from check in till check out) before they charge my card. Another even MORE frustrating thing is, the traffic security at the hotel lobby was terribly rude. When our bus reached the hotel, there is PLENTY of parking at the side but the security will NOT allow the driver to stop the bus even while waiting for us all to get up the car. The Security was shouting and yelling at the driver which i think its' really ridiculous. In another case, it was worse. i have to walk alllll the way to the back of the hotel to get up the bus just because i got down late and the bus was ASKED to leave the hotel without me. In ALL cases that took place throughout the few days of stay, there is NO VEHICLE stopped when our bus was there. But they just do not allow any stop which really sucks ! I hope the hotel review their practice that causes inconvenience to their guest.

Cons: Taxis need to take a big round to get to hotel entrance.

Pros: I didn't have my breakfast in your hotel restaurant due to under renovation, I might think that the food level and environment of quality will drop.
Cons: I have no comment.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: I stayed three nights in a double room. The room is very spacious, clean and well kept. The bed is comfortable. There are many channels choices for TV. I used the gym room and swimming pool which is a good idea and experience especially it's very hot outside. There is a big shopping mall just next to. I can find all the food or drink or even shopping.
Cons: The bath tube is next to the window but it's not a one way glass. I need to close the curtain always. There are some construction sites around so the road is little dusty and not well. It's far from other attraction sites. Every time I need a taxi to way out and back.
7,0 Good
Pros: It is a new property and the facilities were A+.
Cons: Location is away from most attractions and night spots. Hotel to the airport was more than 45 mins ride.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We love the location, hotel facilities as well as the surrounding shopping malls. The hotel rooms are kept in clean and professional standards. Furthermore, the hotel is so kind and flexible to allow us late check-out due to the late evening flight.
Cons: The quality of beverage is below average at the lobby lounge. You cannot imagine that four poor-quality glasses of cocktails took almost 45-minute to prepare and serve when there was only 1 table of guests at 9:30pm.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Room was big, spacious n v clean. Staff were v polite. Especially the Executive Chef Fan, who is in-charge of breakfast. He was v helpful n explained the various dishes n recommended which r the local dishes to eat at the breakfast buffet. He even personally bring the coffee n food to my table.
