Pros: Wonderful and very friendly staff. Great pool and general hotel facilities. The breakfasts buffet was delicious and very large in variety. Everyone from the staff was very welcoming and caring. Location was perfect.

Cons: It was too warm in the bedroom. There is an AC but we did not manage to make it work to our liking.

Cons: They brought my rent car from the garage and there was a new HIT on it so i had to claim that for the police for insurance purposes. The hotel unfortunately denied any responsibility regarding that !! There is no coffee machine in the suite which is strange for 5 star hotel The furniture is old and does not meet the standard of 5 star hotel You Have to go through 2 elevators to reach you Suite

Pros: Everyone in the hotel are so welcoming and helpful, the upgrade of my room was really unexpected after long journey made our stay the best ever..

Cons: The staff are very lovely but they should know more about attractions in Freiburg, I stayed 3 days but on the last day till I get to know the amazing beauty of the city from friends and google only..

Pros: Centrally located for all the attractions. Easy parking (20 Euros per night). Very clean and quiet. Little touches nice, like chocolates left in room.

Cons: Pillow too soft.

Pros: Everything was as I expected and as per other’s visitors reviews , the lady recipient was very keen and let me pray in their office as I checked out and my train was @ 5.00 so I kept my luggages in the hotel and visited some sightseeing around the hotel I recommend this hotel and definitely will stay again if visited this beautiful city again Also restaurant workers were very nice

Cons: I had my car parked at hotel. When leaving at 11:00 AM, I asked the receptionist to keep my car for 1-2 hrs, I got the recommendation that's ok to park car outside. The receptionist didn't actually tell me I will be fined by the municipality because of green vignette that I knew nothing about - so they actually recommended me a very bad option.

Pros: This was a stylish period property, but with very nicely refurbished rooms. The location was superb, very close to the railway station and within a very short walk of the city centre and Old Town area.

Pros: The hotel is centrally located, due to the noise of the rooms facing the main street because of the noise. The staff attitude was unpleasant. We got a room that smelled of sewage. The cleanliness of the hotel is not high. Don't get the high price.

Pros: Breakfast - nice choice, nice staff and a beautiful breakfast room with a park/vineyard view ! Served till 11 on Sundays, another nice feature. Tea making facilities in the room.

Cons: I was probably not lucky with my room: Bed, wooden floor, high ceiling, stucco - all this was lovely, but the room was tiny and didn't get any daylight. It was okay though, as I arrived in the evening and left the next morning. For a longer stay I would have tried to get a better room. The other problem was the noise from the corridor. And the radio in the bathroom: the button was placed exactly where my hand would have expected the light button (not so funny in the middle of the night ;-))

Cons: Staff was rude and not helpful.

Cons: Receptionist was horrid

Pros: 10 should not be given to anyone, but due to overbooking, I was upgraded from a slightly inferior, far off the center associated hotel, so considering the price, a full 10 is deserved. A bonus: fantastic classical interior - inside an uber- modern building, the outer appearance of which may be its only weakness.

Cons: Well, an ugly modern building from the outside - but you dont see that from inside:)

Pros: Good location close to the hospital. Nice breakfast, nice bread with nuts. Good bathroom and comfortable bed.

Cons: Unfriendly staff and sometimes even no staff present. Asking for directions or recommendations was a pain and the receptionists looked irritated or unaccommodating. Checking out of the hotel was like walking on a Stairmaster. We were overcharged 30 Euros for our stay and were told nothing could be adjusted until the "real receptionist" was there. I was going to eat my hair.

Pros: Having asked for a quiet room high up at the back of the hotel, I was concerned at being given a room on the first floor at the front of the hotel. However, the window was well soundproofed and the street outside was quiet. And there was none of the ambient noise you get from modern hotels. Breakfast was wonderful. Delicious array of food, a nice traditional room, and none of the intrusive music you get in most hotels.

Cons: The single bed was quite narrow and I would have preferred plumper pillows. It would have been nice to have had a hotel bar to come back to after dinner.

Pros: I liked the location, I could walk there from the railway station and it was also at a walking distance to the tram lines and the centre. I had breakfast once. There was a big choice and the actual breakfast place is spacious. I particularly enjoyed the fresh friuts and fruit salads but also the pastries.

Cons: Overall, I found the hotel old-fashioned and it would require some renovation. Staff was nice, although the lady who checked me in could have been more efficient. I also witnessed the reception staff arguing with each other on several occasions while waiting in the lobby. Something I do not find professional.

Pros: Clean and comfortable.

Cons: Dated and old lobby.

Pros: Central location with quick access to the city center at very good value.

Cons: The reception and bar area is very old fashioned.
