10,0 Excellent
Pros: For the price and location, I was very satisfied with my stay. The staff was friendly and readily available when checking in and out. I stayed in a regular king room, spacious, and clean. The furniture and decor was very unique unlike a chain hotel. The complimentary wine was a nice surprise also! The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the main part of town. I was expecting a typical complimentary breakfast in the morning with just cereal, fruit, and coffee. But they also had pastries, yogurt, bagels with cream cheese, and several other items available. I would definitely stay here again and recommended it to friends and family.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, super clean room. Complimentary wine and water, snacks at front desk were A very nice treat. Very easy walk to the main Street. Shower pressure was good, toiletries were good quality. The continental breakfast had so many choices, including the best pear I've had in years. All in all, a very pleasant place to stay.
Cons: It's not the most modern decor, but it's probably going for more of a quaint atmosphere.

Pros: Great location close to town
Cons: Staff on arrival offhand and not very friendly
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Very clean abs very comfy. Staff was super sweet.
Cons: Breakfast was lacking. Looked like they were suppose to have oatmeal as all the fixings were there so guessing they ran out. They ran out of orange juice and apple juice. On a Monday morning with not many ppl there.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about the stay, it was perfect!
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like. :)
8,0 Excellent
Cons: The lady at the front desk seemed somewhat annoyed by our arrival. She was more interested in taking with her friend that had visited her. I've worked in the customer service industry before and this isn't the way I would interact with a customer. This is a small town with quite a large selection of hotels and lodging opinions, with that said I expected more from this hotel. However everything else with our experience was great, it's a nice hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the outside fireplace!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds are beautiful! The beds and pillows are so comfortable! Love them! I would definitely recommend this hotel!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent front desk assistance. The room and outdoor areas were very clean. Might consider staying here in summer tine.
Cons: Our first time in the area; We missed the entrance because the hotel name is not lighted and we arrived after dark. Breakfast equipment (waffle maje4) needs to be updated.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed. Great breakfast Fun pool. Good temperature hot tub
Cons: Nothing
6,0 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: It’s a hotel. While the pool and fire pit were nice amenities, the pictures made the room look less like a hotel than it actually is and that was disappointing. Not my first choice for our typical Fredericksburg stay but our friends all wanted their own room and we couldn’t find VRBO or Airbnb that would accommodate us.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this for our girls trip- would definitely stay here again! Extremely close to the shuttle and downtown (walking distance), precious room and fantastic amenities. The free breakfast was the best we’ve experienced at hotel
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is terrific, a half block off of main street. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room was okay. Thin walls. the couple next to my room both had coughs and it was like they were sitting next to me.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I love to stay here when we come to town. The rooms are nice but is is the facilities I really love. The property is beautiful set against the creek. The pool is heated year round. Love the hot tub and the outdoor fire place. As always we will be back again.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location! Walked downtown for dinner. Enjoyed the fire pit just outside our room!

6,0 Good
Pros: The pool is nice and so is the breakfast. Too pricey for a Holiday Inn though. The location was ok but definitely not walking distance to Main Street. Nice pool depth for being able to walk around without getting your hair wet.
Cons: I booked early so I couldn''t remember the rate and the desk clerk wouldnt give that info either, it''s my money! I did find a $30 charge on my account but it later removed. Balconies face the pool so you kinda feel watched.

4,5 Okay
Pros: Big rooms. Convenient location.
Cons: Air conditioner did not work in June in Texas. Bad news!!! Never got cooler than 77 with thermostat set at 65. After trying to sleep in a warm stuffy room, they turned off the water in the morning for 30 minutes for some repair. I think the motel has outlived its facilities. Summer in Texas is way too hot to do without air conditioning. When I notified the front desk , they told me "just wait, it will get cooler". It didn't. Very disappointed.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Remodeled very nice. Downtown. Walk to shopping. Very clean. Nice staff
Cons: Little pricey. But not bad for the location.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great spot on Main Street Fredericksbug. Walk to darn near everything. Staff was great, asked for quiet room on ground floor and got one - 111 - and parked right in front of room. Older hotel (I stayed in it about 35 years ago) but adequately updated and comfortable beds. Hospitality coffee is good but breakfast is best found elsewhere.
Cons: Forgot to ask that they not put 4 kids in the room directly above. Coffee maker didn't work and spewed hot water all over.
6,5 Good
Pros: Heated pool Fantastic location continental breakfast very quite
Cons: Housekeeping - dirty band aid in bathroom! Liquid meds found in frig, glad our son didn't find it!
6,0 Good
Pros: The location is really good and within walking distance to everything on Main Street.
Cons: We arrived for breakfast at 9:00 am and there wasn't much food left. It was a continental breakfast with a waffle maker to cook your own. The waffle batter was empty and there were no staff members available or maintaining the area as guests came in and depleted the food. We ended up leaving without eating because there wasn't anything left by 9:00 am.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very easy, clean and in a great location

Pros: Great breakfast. Room was exceptionally clean.
Cons: The pool area was right next to parking lot. No privacy between the two.
7,0 Good
Pros: Good location and clean
Cons: The only problem we had was with the handicap shower. There was only the shower curtain that kept the water from going on to the bathroom floor. So, lots of water splashed on the floor and we needed to use several towels to wipe up the water.

Cons: Not very clean, carpet dirty, smell like nursing home.
10,0 Excellent

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Room was nice. People were friendly. And complimentary breakfast.
6,0 Good
Pros: The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable.
Cons: There could have been more options for breakfast.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The beds were very comfortable and the desk with chair and sofa with foot stools also the plugins for devices without having to move furniture and the Other ameneties. Was going to give a great review but then...
Cons: At 9:14 am. I am sitting on the bed in my underwear trying to get dressed when a man entered our room without even a knock and informed us that checkout was at 11 am. what the heck! He had no cleaning cart so what the heck! I was embarrassed and humiliated to be caught in such a state and was unable to quickly cover myself because of a back injury I am recovering from which made it even more humiliating. I called the front desk to complain and she knew exactly who I was talking about and intimated that this is a problem with this person who had a key because our room was locked. The dead bolt had been unlocked because my husband had gone to the desk for change a few minutes before. We visit Fredericksburg, TX often but we will NOT be using this motel again!

5,0 Okay
Pros: it was on the highway that was easy access to the locations we needed to go to.
Cons: The room was not as clean as I would have liked, someone else's tooth past still on the faucet, the carpet was not vacuumed well, the table had sticky stuff on it that got on my purse. the young lady in the office was nice. For a 2 star hotel, this is it

6,2 Good
Pros: Location was good. Front desk was friendly. Price was decent.
Cons: Went to the front desk in the middle of the day, and no one was available. Hotels usually freak me out, so cleanliness will always be my complaint. No phone in the room. Very low water pressure in the toilet, (in the town). It didn’t look like the restaurant connected to the hotel was ever open. It was our anniversary, and the site asked, but there was no recognition.

6,0 Good
Pros: Location was great. Although we parked at motel, then Uber'd back to Main Street. Highly recommend the Sunset Grill next door.
Cons: Not sure why it's called Inn and Suites. What we stayed in was definitely a Motel. Did not feel unsafe, but observed they use standard residential door knobs and deadbolts for the rooms. Parking is tight. Especially when the Grill is open.

7,1 Good
Cons: The shower curtain was mounted such that any water that hits the curtain ends up on the floor. We had to mop up a lot of water, using most of the towels, after every shower. There was only one small trash can under the wet bar and none in the bathroom. One table lamp had a bad fluorescent bulb in it. The TV remote control's battery compartment hatch was broken, such that the batteries had to be manually held in place to use it. Why should a guest have to repeatedly call the front desk to report things that are broken or missing from the room? Why isn't all of that tended to prior to the guest's arrival? And lastly, they're using those cheap, daylight colored complact fluorescent bulbs in every lamp throughout the entire room and in the ceiling fixtures. I don't have a problem with CFLs as long as their color temperature is warm. I felt like I was sleeping at a bus stop.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast very good Staff friendly Fridge in room handy
Cons: Room smelled like too much air freshener
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We've stayed here several times and it's a great location, free breakfast and the staff is very friendly. The rooms we have stayed in (low 2s and 3s) are all very large and comfortable.
Cons: Make sure you stay on the top (3rd) floor in the back. The floors are less than soundproof and if you're on 1 or 2, you will hear the folks above you. The front rooms have balconies, but overlook the street and tend to be noisier. The only elevator is pretty slow so if this is critical for you, it might not be the best spot.
6,5 Good
Pros: Good location but that's about it.
Cons: Very plain room. Bathroom door was broken.
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice facility and close to everything
Cons: I paid for a king balcony. When I got here they said they were sold out and got a king single. They told me at the front desk that they would swap me over the next day. After waiting for over hr they told me that the balcony rooms were sold out. Found out that night that they were not sold out and maintenance shut down some rooms to do some work.

Pros: Location only.
Cons: Outdated and unappealing look. The only thing I enjoyed about this stay was the price. I honestly needed a place to rest my head. I wanted to believe that the horrible reviews were from uptight people but now I see why and I’m not particularly pick

Pros: The shower was good, very powerful. Housekeepers were pleasant
Cons: The room smelled of a dog, and when given an alternative room it smelled very strongly of old, stale cigarette smoke. The mattress was uncomfortable, one sank to the dip in the middle! We had the impression that there was no real need to satisfy from the check in and out staff.

Pros: nothing
Cons: the bed was terrible, mattress was worn out with no support. the pillows were terrible, needed to be trashed . worst sleep in years

Pros: Motel had availability when Kerrville motels were booked solid. Location was close enough to be in commuting distance to our event. The motel location would be perfect for visiting Fredricksburg and surrounding wineries in the area. Smoke-free rooms on ground floor were appreciated, as I am disabled and cannot easily climb stairs. Breakfast availability was a plus and there were restaurants on either side of motel.
Cons: No eggs and bacon or sausage and biscuits avail. Breakfast room was small, only 4 tables and on Saturday and Sunday morning they were full. Carpet in room was torn/missing at entry to bathroom leaving the carpet tack strip nails to be exposed. Very uncomfortable to step on in the middle of the night in bare feet. Thin soap discs for bath left a lot to be desired, creating very little suds. No shampoo avail. Only 1 coffee pod avail for room brewer.
1,0 Poor
Pros: location only
Cons: frayed carpet/ lumpy, old, soft mattress/ shower with minimal spray/ Just overall, the worst place I can remember ever staying.

Cons: I had two rooms in one room the Floors looked as if they weren't vacuumed and the curtains were a little dirty.

Pros: Nothing absolutely nothing
Cons: For 1 they wouldnt honor the free cancellation policy, and then when I called to let someone know we would have a late check in no one answered the phone or emails, and when we arrived still not a single employee was on the premises. So not only did I have to pay for the room but I didnt even get to check in!

Pros: I loved that the staff was trying to make things right. That and I was able to find a parking spot this visit.
Cons: I've stayed at this facility when it was a HoJo. Not much has changed in those 8 years that makes me smile much. The plumbing has been neglected, 3 of the rooms that they tried to put me in the toilet did not flush. On the third I gave up and fixed it myself, the rubber gasket had worked it's way loose. Even with reseating the gasket it still ran throughout the night. The food was lukewarm at best. I know the owner is trying to keep it open, but there needs to be an investment into the facility to keep it going. The staff put on their best smiles, but honestly when the same people come back to the desk for the same issue in multiple rooms, it's time to roll up your sleeves and start fixing the old girl up.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and quiet. Staff very good. Beds very comfy. Air conditioner worked great. Had waffles and biscuits and gravy for breakfast
5,0 Okay
Pros: The room was plenty big enough and it was the cheapest option for Fredericksburg.
Cons: Location-wise you have to get in the car to get into town. The breakfast was ultra processed. The walls *must* be very thin...

Pros: The staff was nice. We had several problems with our key working. As far as the average rating... it was as clean as it could be. The hotel is old and needs to have updates. No fridge in our room was a slight issues too. Again the staff was nice....

Pros: Value close to everything hot water for shower staff nice
Cons: No blowdryer Smoke detector chirped even after they replaced battery Loud with traffic Limited plugs
1,0 Poor
Cons: The service was absolutely terrible. I paid for my room in full before arriving to check in. The man working at the front desk wouldn’t let me into my room and tried double charging me multiple times. Even after showing him proof of payment. He finally gave me a key to the wrong room after threatening to cancel my reservation. I paid for a king size bed and he sent me to a room with a twin and a queen. When I finally got the proper room it only got worse. The sink didn’t turn on at all, I had to turn the water on behind the toilet so I could use the bathroom and my girlfriend had to fill up her cup in the shower just to have a drink of water. I will never stay here again and highly recommend anyone considering staying to look elsewhere, you will be happy you did.
7,5 Good
Cons: When I arrived surprise no reservation. But it worked out
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I like the price and location. We just wanted a clean place to sleep, shower and is pet friendly. We were on a budget so this was perfect. Owners we very friendly and we loved the outside seating and tables to enjoy the beautiful weather. We will stay here again in the future.
Cons: The room had a mini refrig and microwave. No coffee maker....a coffee maker and coffee would have been nice. It's an old hotel and needs lots of updates but I knew this when I booked it. Anyone planning to spend a lot of time in the room probably would need to stay in one of the newer hotels. We enjoyed a budget room so we could spend money on having a good time in town.

Cons: The rooms needed to be upgraded with paint, mattress, pillows and linens. no coffee maker in the room and a lack of electrical outlets. Neither my husband or I felt comfortable using the shower and opted to wait until we got home.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The location of the hotel was in the main area, being on the main road it was too noisy you could hear the cars passing by. The wifi is really bad we had to step outside the room to get some kind of connection.
Cons: hotel is outdated, bad smell, dirty towels, too expensive for what it was offered. will not stay here again. better off paying more in a nicer hotel than staying again in this hotel
5,0 Okay
Pros: Pretty good location to downtown. Kind front desk attendant.
Cons: Fairly outdated bedding and tiny bathroom. Seemed very old. Price was a bit steep in my opinion.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Location location location.
Cons: Dirty, dirty, dirty. There was mud in the tub from the previous occupants. There was a black ring around the toilet. I showed the pic to the hotel hostess who happened to be the cleaning lady as well. She said that she cleaned it herself and blamed us.

Pros: I loved everything about the stay, it was perfect!
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like. :)

Pros: Excellent front desk assistance. The room and outdoor areas were very clean. Might consider staying here in summer tine.
