no parking yet many open reserved spaces that were empty. noise music from lobby filtered into my room all nite. beds uncomfortable. signage poor. lots of construction outside hotel
The room was clean and adequate
Arriving to an extremely noisy, confusing place where they didn't even have a proper check-in desk. Staff were OK. Just not our sort of hotel, more for young millenials.
Chic looking hotel -- facade for lack of services
The room and bed were comfortable. The proximity to the airport was good. However the description makes it sound like it is in Terminal 2. The hotel most definitely is not in the airport. It is about a half mile away.
Moxy is a chic / hip looking hotel which is a facade for lack of services. The room has no coffee / hot water service. The glasses in the bathrooom are flimsy disposable cups - not real glass. The table / shelf in the room is too small for a laptop. The surface is glass so a mouse will not work on the surface. The ironing facilities are down the hall -- not in the room. The lobby is a pleasant area. However, there are no real dining services. They just have pre-wrapped sandwiches. I really wanted to have a proper hot meal. The breakfast service is minimal. There are no cooked eggs. Just hard boiled eggs. It seems as though the offerings all came out of a can. The bread was nice. To add insult to injury they charge 5 euros to take the shuttle back to the airport.
Very much aimed for women, not for airport travel
Good location by the airport
Disorganized, with reception queus of at least 5 people long, very limited food options, a decor best described as “hot pink” with shirtless men, and an unrilable airport shuttle that charges 5 Euros per person each way. There’s Hyatt and Hilton properties in close proximitry, so I would try those. If you stay at the Moxy and it’s not for a girls weekend, then I would recommend taking a cab to the airport. Its much faster and only a couple of euros more.
Staff was very friendly the the concept was fun. a bit more youthful than I am, but it was a good time.
The room was pretty warm and the temperature controls did not allow me to make adjustments. I opened the window, but a building is being built across the street, so the rattle of hammers woke me at 6am.
Um dos hotéis mais legais que fiquei
Excelente hotel, staff educado, é super confortável. Recomendo mesmo ficando um pouco distante do centro de Frankfurt. Pra quem está de carro da apenas 15 min.
Great customer service. Great concept, very different from usual hotels. Great place to stay.
