9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely setting, comfortable rooms & very friendly staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the rooms and the roof top terrace.
Cons: Definitely could do with air conditioning on the ground floor - only because we were reluctant to leave the door open and we happened to be staying during the heatwave of 2019. No big thing however as I am sure it’s normally the perfect temperature! Still a 10/10 from me as no one can predict the weather!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location right in the center of Malmedy, clean spacious room with a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Walking distance of breakfast place and restaurants. The owners were very friendly people, we had a great experience.
Cons: We had to call the owners to tell them 30 min in advance of our arrival at the premise. When we arrived we still had to wait for 10 minutes before they arrived, but we didn't mind that much. Once they arrived the check-in process was smooth and they were very friendly!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good matrasses, beautiful rooms, very clean bathroom,
Cons: Only French on de télé
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The property is a normal house 'at the corner of the street' (hence the name) with rooms converted for guests. It is located very centrally, just across the church, with restaurants and shops around the corner, yet the street is quiet. The host was very friendly and helpful. Although the entry is unassuming, the room was very nicely decorated, the bathroom was very luxurious with natural stone, a rain shower, a bath a natural light. The beds were comfortable, the painting on the wall stylish. Unless you need a 24/7 reception, this is a real gem!
Cons: It was hard to get the room really warm, maybe the host can turn the heating on beforehand on colder days? The outside of the house looks really plain (but don't let that fool you, the inside is great).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very modern, clean and spacious in a very well presented condition
Cons: Nothing

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The Spa Hotel de la Source is a very high quality fairly new build hotel The rooms were very comfortable, with exceptional mattresses on the beds. The bar and restaurant areas were great and very business like. If you are visiting Spa Motor Racing Circuit the Hotel de la Source is definately the place to stay. We will visit again.
Cons: Not really a complaint but some of the hotel was a little too clinical. This goes with being new and very modern and doesn't cause any problem at all.
6,7 Good
Pros: The food in the restaurant was very good however, and the restaurant staff very pleasant. We had steak both nights and it was lovely.
Cons: The reception staff were often rude and unhelpful. When one of our rooms smelled like sewerage we requested that the room was checked and asked if we could be moved to a different room. Even though the hotel was virtually empty they refused to put us in a different room and we had to put up with the smell. At checkout they also tried to charge us €40 extra each room claiming the exchange rate had affected it. A quick check of the exchange rates shown they were simply overcharging.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for a track day at SPA. Good quality hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We booked this hotel as the one we where meant to be in decided they didn’t want to let us in. We where due to be at Spa the next day and so the location of this hotel couldn’t have been better. Luxurious room, extremely large comfy bed and the restaurant was wonderful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice looking rooms. Bathroom was impressive. Breakfast was typical Euro-style but very good.
Cons: Can't quite see the track from the rooms, but not a big deal. It's a very short walk to get in.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Best place to stay when doing a trackday at Spa Francorchamps to my knowledge! Underground heated garage perfect for storing cars, staff are good, hotel efficient and rooms are great standard.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are good, the staff were helpful and the location is ideal for the Spa Francorchamps circuit. Plenty of parking for cars and trailers.
Cons: The hotel has now imposed a charge for its secure garage. In the restaurant, we booked a table for 10 people and were almost the only people there, but the food seemed to take forever to arrive - very slow!

Pros: Beautiful old home converted to a b&b, the owners were extremely friendly (spoke English well also) and the restaurant they run on the first floor was AMAZING!!! four course dinner with a nice bottle of wine for around $50!

Cons: Niets
10,0 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff, great location near malmedy , clean, quiet with a superb bed and ditto breakfast
Cons: can not think of anything
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming hosts, great breakfast and exceptionally comfortable beds. Beautiful view overlooking forests.
Cons: Not a significant issue but I would prefer WiFi available in the room. It was available outside the room, and it does mention it in the description having looked twice, but that's not where most users need it. Not a complaint, more a suggestion for the host.

Hotel O Mal Aime - Stavelot - Bedroom
8,7 Excellent (184 reviews)
R1 543+
Overview Reviews
The intimate hotel is located in the heart the Ardenne Bleue. The hotel offers renovated guest rooms with a private bathroom. Each room has its own colour scheme. The original cooking for lunch and dinner is based only on fresh products from local producers. From O Mal Aime, the Spa-Franchorchamps racetrack and Malmedy are a 13-minute drive away. You can reach Spa in 20 minutes.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location is mid city center. The entrance of the hotel looks a bit strange but it is arty. You enter via the restaurant area. The owner/chef loves to cook. His dinner is fine although the total price quickly adds up. The breakfast is authentic. Arty atmosphere and decoration this hotel, only the resto area and toilets, the rooms are a bit disappointing in design and cosyness. Helas. Public toilets have very peculiar designs :) be aware because you could get excited, or not, anyway you experience it.
Cons: For this price the luxury and comfort could be better. The room is quite ordinary and the facilities are fine. A large staircase, no elevator if people require this.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, great breakfast! We went for a cycle tour on Sunday and even though we checked out already, we could still use the room for a shower before driving home.
Cons: The only down side I can think of, is the fact that the hotel looks closed from the outside even when it isn't.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were great and breakfast was very tasty. Man serving breakfast was very kind and helpful. That's a pity that we couldn't understand each other.
Cons: Hotel Service speaks only French.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly comfortable small hotel with colourful decor, large bright top-floor room/suite with a view, over quaint half-timbered houses in a quiet cobbled street, to the green hills beyond. Tasty continental breakfast served at your table, great croissants, delicious local ham and cheese, and a boiled egg if you want one. Stavelot is a very pretty little town full of flowers, cobbled squares and historic buildings, and surprisingly well equipped - with a fabulous outdoor public pool (50m, heated, not busy!) and an immaculately renovated cinema showing a variety of films in FR and original language.
Cons: Nothing really! I'm glad I brought earplugs (I always do) as while the street isn't busy, cobbles always magnify any traffic noise, there were a few weekend revellers, and the hotel's heavy fire doors and wooden stairs might make the hallways a bit noisy. The top floor room was much roomier than the lower floor one I was initially offered. I was late arriving and also a bit late for breakfast which I felt a bit guilty about - this is not a 24h chain hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Had room on top, floor which had lots of light from windows and good size. Evening meal and breakfast was fine. Very courteous owner... Carried my bags down all the stairs in morning! Town is well worth a night stop over. Safe place for our bikes overnight and very courteous about an earlier check in.
Cons: All was good!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice small hotel, friendly owner, comfortable beds and good shower. Breakfast also perfect!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with great restaurant and very accommodating host

6,7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fine & the location is within a few km of Malmedy.
Cons: We were locked out of the hotel at 11pm on our return and only managed to finally gain admittance after half an hour by a lucky phone call to a taxi driver who knew the owner. Repeated knocking at the doors produced no answer and the hotel phone went straight to messaging!

The house is an old one with modernised room with all confort. The people are very nice and they have a small specialised shop in Italian food. Very good products. We had a nice back view from the property. The breakfast takes place in a big reception room with splendid wooden ceiling. The breakfast is very complete and fits all needs. Recommended place.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly hotel in a beautiful setting. Comfortable rooms and a good restaurant. Next to nice walking and cycle trails.
Cons: Reception and restaurant are very modern and fresh. The general appearance of the cabins and outdoor buildings and equipment would benefit from a face-lift.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We loved the view from our room ( Loft) The green space around the house. Spacious livingroom. Smart tv in each room.
Cons: The water from the inside swimingpool was too cold . Schedule for the restaurant was not friendly... At 20:00 was the last time you can order food . The single beds from the rooms were very noisy and not stable, were constantly moving at your every single turning in bed ...

Cons: No cell phone coverage. Wifi extremely slow and at times no internet connection at all. Breakfast starts late, from 8:30am only instead of 7am as usual in hotels.
7,0 Good
Pros: Very good location in the middle of the nature. The place was quiet. We had a good breakfast. We highly recommend the restaurant which is a level higher compared to the hotel.
Cons: It was cold in the room and there was only a small radiator blowing dry air. There was no door between the shower and the room which can be a problem if you are with someone else than your partner. The wellness was not clean and the hammam was not properly working.
