Days Inn Forrest City is the only full service hotel in the area. We are located at off I-40, between Memphis and Little Rock exit 241B. Our property is nestled on beautiful Crowleys Ridge with landscaping lush with flowers and trees. Located near Sanyo, Airthem, and Boars Head and we are fifteen minutes from Muller and Addison in Wynne, and Village Creek State Park showcasing 7000 acres of beautiful trees which show a myriad of colors in the Fall. Cons (-) The room smelled like cigarette smoke and there were cigarette burns in the carpet although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The room was also musty smelling with mildew.
Pros (+) We came in very late at night and were greeted by friendly staff. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
Cons (-) Our toilet ran off and on all night and when it wasn't running, the a/c was cycling on and off making for a very noisy night. There were cracks in the ceiling and walls, wallpaper was peeling, and the floor was sticky. I definitely felt like it was overpriced for the quality of room, especially since it was outside room access which I consider a motel instead of hotel. We don't plan on staying her...
