Pros:For the price and location I thought it was a good deal. The rooms were reasonably appointed. The bathrooms were updated and the wall A/C unit kept the room cool. It is convenient to the train station, the mercato, and the Duomo. The desk was friendly and they watched our luggage after checkout (we were taking a later train so we had time to burn). For those of you who are going to Italy for the first time, often times multiple hotels are in the same building and run by the same desk. Their 2-star was on floors 2-3 and the Astrid on the top floor.
Cons:The bed could be a little more comfortable and the door to the balcony was difficult to get to close (if it wasn't it would bang when blown by the wind).
