Pros (+) We liked that it was by the river, and that there was a trail to walk along the river.. We loved that we could take our dog with us. We loved the breakfast buffet.

Pros (+) The Inn had been built in the 70's and allowed to drift for a while. But there's been a lot of attention to detail recently and it shows. We've been visiting Eugene regularly for over 40 years and have stayed just about everywhere. Valley River's back on the top of the list.

Pros (+) Customer service was great! Shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful. Very nice restaurant, too.

Cons (-) If you buy a room on an online site the Valley River Inn takes away all amenities. No breakfast, etc.. Also when the staff see's your online rate their attitude completely changes to the negative. Restaurants food was very poor and very expensive.

Pros (+) This is one of the older luxury hotels that has been wonderfully maintained. Spacious and beautiful with all the amenities you could want. Gracious staff and the restaurant and lounge were perfect!
