Totally surprised to find mosquitos all over. What the heck? Turns out it's located right next to an inlet where mosquitos nest. And they're aggressive and all over. From beach to the restaurant to the pool and my room. I had to kill 5 in my room and they were filled with blood. Massive unlike. If you're paranoid about mosquito diseases, maybe not the best place.
Nice and safe. There's lots to do within the premises.
Two words... BED BUGS. I went to the doctor who confirmed this was the case. I will not stay here again.
Lovely renovated rooms
We stayed in a Maya room looking out over the water. The scenery is breathtaking and we enjoyed watching a seal hunting for its meals. There was a ton of staff at all times and the service was exceptional. With many activities on-property like water sports, a lovely pool, and camel/horseback riding, you could enjoy your whole stay on the grounds or venture out enjoy to the local sights.
I loved Estero! It exceeded our expectations by 100%. Everyone was extremely friendly and so willing to help. We are definitely planning on going back!
It was difficult to find.
The place is amazing
Bed was terrible we barely sleep
