They are scam artistsPros:There was nothing to likeCons:They charge you an extra $350.00 to rent the car and also limit you to only a 150 per day. Even though it was reserved at one price and unlimited miles. They change your reservation and now you are stuck unless you decide to leave. They also take the spare tire out their cars so you would take their insurance. Avoid at all cost. Pay the extra money so you can get better service.Reviewed Jun 17 2017

Pros:Price was right. Located with Wally Park enabled EZ to leverage Wally Parks great shuttle service.Cons:Long wait to get a rep, car smelled like smoke plus had 2 low tire pressure lights come on while driving.Reviewed Mar 13 2017

Dumb rulesCons:If you are a local renter,go someplace else and rent. These people say unlimited miles, unless you live in the state,then you are only allowed 150 free miles per day. They also want a $350.00 deposit. I guess they want to insure that they already have your money if you go over 150 miles per day. The rate per mile they charge after 150 miles is $0.55 . That could add up to some serious dollar amounts really quickly.Reviewed Mar 7 2017

Don't believe the advertised reservationCons:The online reservation clearly stated unlimited miles. But when I'm standing at the reservation desk after I'm already at the point of no return I'm informed I am limited to a total of 300 miles, with each mile afterwards at $0.55 per mile. The whole purpose of the rental was for a trip that far exceeded the allowable mileage bringing my total out of pocket expense nearly four times the advertised rental rate. Even after I showed the manager my reservation and what was advertised he informed me it was a private company and that's their policy and if I didn't like It go somewhere else. Unfortunately I was stuck with no ride and no time to spare. I will not be using this service ever again.Reviewed Jan 24 2017

What the Fog?Pros:The car seat came absolutely soaking wet. We had the hardest time with the car continually fogging up. It was fine when parked but as soon as we turned it on, nothing but fog. It was actually dangerous. Also, seats 5 but if you are the unfortunate one to sit in the back middle seat you will be uncomfortable. It is so high your head touches the roof and you feel squished even though there is room. Finally, we were told that the rental office opened at 5am. They don't. Stay away from E-Z Rental: cars are not reliablePros:The only good thing about E-Z Rental was that after a horrendous experience, they gave us a brand new, upgraded vehicle. There was also a very nice lady working in the car lot who saw my family with young kids waiting and gave us all a free bottle of water.Cons:We had an absolutely horrendous experience with E-Z Rental. First, we had an extremely long wait to get our vehicle, at least 45 minutes. Second, they gave us an unreliable car. Sitting in the passenger seat, I could feel intense vibration in the vehicle. I said something to my husband about how uncomfortable it was. But we pressed on, we thought this is what we got for trying to save a little money on a rental car. But no amount of savings is worth putting my family's lives at risk. As we continued on the vibration continued to get stronger and stronger. It was so bad, I finally called E-Z Rental Roadside Assistance. She could hear the vibration through the phone and said we should get off the road immediately. We got to an exit, got to a gas station, and asked what they would do. She patched us in to the Jacksonville airport location. It was 9pm at night and thw employee there said there was nothing he could do until the next morning and that they couldn't pay for our hotel. Basically we were stranded with an undrivable car and no hotel, 3.5 hours from our final destination. My husband called AAA and they came to change our tire. The mechanic said he was absolutely shocked that a rental company would give us a car with a tire in that condition. The inside of the tire was completely shredded. I shudder to think what would have happened to my family if that wheel had popped on the expressway and we lost control of our vehicle. My husband then drove our car back to the Jacksonville airport with the donut on it at 6am so he could be there when the manager got in. They gave us half off our rental car which basically covered our hotel for the night and our AAA membership which covered changing the tire. I'm shocked that they weren't able to do more for us, given the fact that they put my family's lives at risk and then weren't willing to pay for our hotel when we were stranded at night, still far from our intended destination. I will never rent from E-Z Rental again.Reviewed Jan 14 2017
