I rented the car for airport pickup. I was told, at pickup that rate was for a pickup downtown and I had to get myself there. Off airport pickup was not brought to my attention when I booked.2,0 Poor

If I actually got the rental I reserved. They didn't even have the rental I reserved. So I was unable to accomplish what I was trying to do. Horrible that I reserved something and they didn't even have it when I showed up.9,6 Wonderful

Anthony was amazing. He is the perfect of example of what customer service should be. There was an issue with the price of the rental. It did not match my reservation. Anthony did not challenge it at all. He immediately got on the phone to try to fix it and did not stop making calls until it was resolved. I appreciated that more than he will ever know.Cons:

I was thoroughly displeased with the fact that I couldn't rent the car and my reservation fee was not reimbursed. I've gone thru every bit of paperwork and terms and conditions and I've found nothing that states that I can not get a refund from my cancelled reservation.Budget

The vehicle we received was clean and ready to go at the appointed time. Gas mileage was much better than our own vehicles.Cons:
A couple of features were not on the vehicle that we are used to, such as backup camera. Possibly if we would have requested a higher priced vehicle it would have been included?6,0 Okay

We were taking a car one way, plans changed and I was told that if we returned the car to it pick-up location that it would be cheaper. Nope, still over $800.00....never use avis again.4,4 Mediocre

Before hitting Rockford/Chicago, I was on backroads that didn't go more than 55 mph. Once I hit the freeway, the car I was in would not accelerate properly and soon wouldn't go beyond 35 mph. I only had the car for 3 hours (to drive to O'Hare) and it was terrible and expensive experience.4,8 Mediocre

The person at the desk was very rude to me when I went to pick up the vehicle. I couldn't find a nearby gas station to refill the car before dropping it off - I drove 20 miles without seeing a single gas station. Now I'll be charged way too much - but I wasn't going to leave again to go search for a gas station - it was a blizzard outside!Easirent
