Pros:
Once someone came to the desk, the pickup and dropoff was quick and painless. The size of the car was as promised in my booking online, the price was cheaper than other locations close to Cedar Falls, and the car was pretty clean on the interior.Cons:
The front seats of my Hyundai Sonata were extremely uncomfortable and I drove the vehicle for 24+ hours... the bar under the driver and passenger seat made me and my passenger's tailbone extremely sore and my friend even said she could feel the bruise days later after the trip. Also, the trunk reeked of vinegar and was still wet so the thick cardboard box I had in the back with various grocery/pantry items soaked through and when I picked it up all of the items fell through the bottom. I had to remove the outer box of the cereal and other items and place into grocery sacks. Luckily, my pillow was on top of my luggage and only the outside of my luggage bag was damp.9,2 Wonderful

We expected a Ford Escape but received a Nissan Murano. Very nice vehicle for our trip.Cons:
The previous renter smoked in the car even tho they have a non-smoking policy. The car was not detailed and had gunk in the cup holders, etc. The insurance was horrid - $30 extra per day. We paid a few dollars more than what Kayak said, but the insurance was a joke. I'll never rent from Avis again ever.7,2 Good

The car itself was fine, even though it was clear that someone had smoked in it at some point.Cons:
I should have looked at the paperwork more carefully, to be sure, but the tank was only 3/4 full when we got the car and the rental agreement said that it was full, so I had to fill the tank. This was an irritating waste of money, as I'd barely used two gallons of fuel.6,4 Okay

The was a fairly quick pick-up at the airport with no major complications, though the customer service agent was a little curt. The car worked as promised, though I did think it would have cruise control and it did not.Cons:
This car was very stinky, clearly one that a lot of cigarettes had been smoked in. After driving for an hour to my destination, then three hours to another, my clothes and luggage already reeked and I was getting a headache. Budget should notify regarding which cars are smoking vs. non-smoking and make that a selectable option for customers.Easirent
