Bathrooms, sauna, design and provided activities. Receptionists are super cool.
That what a hostel should look like. Amazing and helpful staff, wonderful facilities. Very clean and cosy premises
I liked the very central position and the kindness of the staff. I had a test the morning after my arrival and the hostel was less than 5 min walking from the test location. The hostel had also single rooms like the one I stayed in and a sauna, which unfortunately I did not have time to use. Breakfast was also included.
When I showered before going to sleep I found the water not sufficiently warm although in Dublin it was a bit cold (like 4 degrees Celsius the morning after).
The staff were very Co operative when I had issues with my mobile allowing me to to use their phone to make some local calls.
From monday to Friday during the breakfast period there is a crowd of guests, you cant hardly move making very stressful to move especially when carrying your breakfast. Isaacs should consider expanding their dinning room to alleviate the pressure.
Location is very good, close to public transport and easy to go to the temple bar area by walking. Staff is nice and helpful. Although it is not ideal, it is relatively good value for your money. We had a great time here.
There was no ventilation in the room and unfortunately some stinky dudes kept closing the window. The smell in the room was therefore terrible. Also the fact that there's a train track right next to our window isn't to be considered great. Don't expect anything of the breakfast, the bread is made of shoe soles and the coffee is made from sewage water. Luckily there are a few supermarkets very close where you can get decent breakfast and coffee.
Safely and the warmth of the staffs. It was my 1st backpackers experience and I truly enjoyed the acquaintance with travelers from around the world. I would always choose Isaacs and recommend it to you.
The room given to me was by the Dart track so I kept waking up to the sound (only on the 1st day though)
