They did not have the Rent-A-Car. I reserved when I arrived to pick it up. I was told there were no cars available whatsoever. That left me completely stranded at the airport. I was then offered a vehicle that was an upgrade for an additional $50 a day, but they would not approve my secondary driver because it was an upgraded vehicle. My entire trip was based on renting a vehicle with two drivers. I was going to stay and the secondary driver was going to return the vehicle back to the Calgary airport. Because the car was not available for us. I had to drive eight hours to return the car. I will never rent from dollar/thrifty/Hertz again.Reviewed Mar 19 2025

This rental location is a complete disaster. It is a hertz office and they have NO idea what they are doing. Booked the reservation, called to confirm they had a car, arrived to pick up and just like the previous time I attempted to rent from this location, NO CAR. Had to pitch a fit to finally get them to honor a reservation. Two people on calls with customer service in the waiting area to address their concerns. It is a joke. I make every effort to rent from Enterprise when I need a local rental and try to avoid this location at all costs.Reviewed Mar 18 2025

Dollar Rentals were amazing. We have used them before and will use them again. However I will never again book through Kayak as they don't mention the pricing is in USD intact the documents we received mentioned booking extras like gas and child carseats and state the amount in NZD However when we went to pick car up we discovered the amount quoted was USD and we actually paid over double the amount quoted once they did the conversion.Reviewed Mar 15 2025

Employee at the counter was not interested in the work. No receipt given on the additional charge they put on my credit card. They charged me for underage driver fee. The only driver is me, license shown and documented by them, and I am 45 years old.Reviewed Mar 13 2025

Poor reps in pickup location. The vehicle I reserved was not available and the rep of Dollar blamed you(kayak.com). I was told by rep that the vehicle you have in your website were not accurate not the vehicles they carry.Reviewed Mar 13 2025

I showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment and The lady who was working was arguing with another client about returning his car and it was very uncomfortable. They continued on for about 30 minutes before looking at me and telling me to go away because they have no cars. She then tried to explain to me that the rental car company doesn’t have enough cars and how it’s so hard for her and all she was doing was complaining about her job and how much stress it is to work there. I had to leave in the middle of the conversation cause she wouldn’t stop talking about how horrible her life was and the company she works for is I then left and went across the street and rented a car from enterprise with no issue for the same price.Reviewed Mar 13 2025

They assigned me an electric car. My reservation was from Vermont to Buffalo, same day drop off. Electric car only has range of 200 miles. Ibwouls have had to stop and charge the car twice on the trip. It takes 1-4 hours to charge each time. Obviously wouldn't work. They charged me $30 upgrade fee to get a gas car.
