Owner was wonderful and very helpful to us esp. with our onward travel plans. Breakfast was delightful and plentiful. Beds were comfy and room large.
I booked standard room and wish I had upgraded. The room was spotless but faced road and because if road noise the windows had to be closed all night so got little stuffy. Also shower was tiny. Newer rooms appeared to be perfect.
Very nice property, well maintained and recently renovated. Location is just a couple blocks walk to Cortina's pedestrian area. Very spacious suite with nice amenities.
Recently renovated room had a strong wood smell that needs some time to air out. Upper floor gets quite warm (temps in 70's) and there is no forced ventilation of any kind. When the windows are closed it is dead quiet but the street noise is very intrusive if you choose to leave a window open. Sleeping was difficult as a result.
The lady receptionist is very friendly and lovely to talk to. She is the best asset the hotel has I would say. The hotel location. The resort itself is fantastic. The price of the room was very good for the size of the room. I would recommend staying at this hotel.
The decor is a bit dated, didn’t really get that impression from booking.com. The views from the suite are more rooftop than mountains, fine for me, but just temper your expectations! The bath tap switch didn’t quite work - water only came out of the shower head unless you held the button down. The male staff seemed a bit grumpy in general, especially when they ran out of boiled eggs and we asked for more . Breakfast was good but there are not hot items available and it is the same every day, this is normal though. All that said, it is a nice hotel.
Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.
Great location, comfortable rooms, very friendly staff
Wish there was at least a coffee pot in rooms.
