Pros: My wife and I wanted to experience the area on our bicycles. The off road bike paths from Ingleside to Cornwall are world class, approximately 35km one way, including the Long Sault Parkway. The Lion Motel was right across the road from the bike path and had a great view of the St Lawrence. Its an older drive up to your room motel which is excellent with all your bike gear. Our room had recent updates and the beds were very comfortable. Tim Hortons, fuel, pharmacy and a friendly pub are within a couple hundred yards. This area is a hidden gem and the staff and locals could not have been nicer. Top notch holiday!

Pros: This hotel is near the highway. This is a good transition hotel. The staff is polite and helpful. It is very quiet even if we are near the highway 401.

Pros:
Cons: The lady at the front desk was very rude and defensive when we tried to share a few issues in the room so they could repair them for the next guest- broken desk chair, broken toilet chain, leaky faucet, broken phone. We were just pointing these things out as we checked out so they would know, but she kept defensively saying we should have told her earlier (we were there about 12 hours total). We weren’t complaining because we stay in a lot of motels and hotels and we just deal unless something makes it impossible. But she kept taking it so personally that we gave up communicating with her.

Cons: Despite providing a different credit card at checkin, they used the one I provided to booking.com, I've NEVER had a hotel fail to use the correct card (given at checkin) before regardless of whom I book it with. When I contacted them about this they claimed it was nothing to do with them and then stopped replying. Also, very poor coffee. Hot black water might be a better description.

Cons: Their fitness room is a joke. It is basically in a closet. They have three machines that are not working properly.

Cons: Hotel and room needs maintenance and upkeep. Door to bathroom doesn’t close properly, towel holder bent down, door stop missing, etc. Pool missing brick work and tiles. Breakfast area has 5 tables and not enough chairs for alll tables. Had to stand to eat breakfast. One table with elderly patron was rickety and chair broken. Breakfast selection and layout lacking. Had a better breakfast at a private hotel in Maine night earlier, with good selection breakfast of foods, layout and more than enough tables and chairs to accommodate guests. Will not book room there again.

Pros: The bed was ok. It was nice to have a breakfast provided but it was just ok.
Cons: The room smelled like cigarette smoke and the staff was not willing to acknowledge or do anything about it. The staff was not up front. He thought there was some sort of problem with the room needed to go "check" it before we went into it, but he would not tell us why. It was very disconcerting. The mattress protector had old blood stains on it. There were hairs left in the tub and sink.
