I did not like how this place was not soundproof - you could hear everything in the room next door.

I am a Gold Level SPG member. This got me nada. No welcoming gift, no upgrade, no internet access, no late check out, nothing. I have been treated much better at other Westin's.

The room was clean, we were put on a high floor with a great view. The staff was excellent. I guess I'm just too picky about the cons.
I'm a stickler for good service and the Westin did exactly what they were required to, but nothing more. For example, I asked for a fruit platter & champagne to be put in the room. It was my husband's birthday and it sucked we were stuck in a hotel after a business trip, so I wanted to make it a bit more exciting. Most the fruit was fine, but they didn't pick out the moldy grapes and shriveled berries. There were two glasses for coffee, but provided only one cup serving of grounds. The bag of coffee itself couldn't be opened easily, and since we were traveling, we had no sharp objects. The vanity mirror was broken. Little stuff adds up and I was overall disappointed for a $250+ night.
