The building is remarkable: an historic board of education building conversion that is imposing and grand inside and out. High ceilings, spacious rooms, marble hallways. Historic statues and murals. Pros (+) I liked the wide hallways and tall ceilings in the rooms! The fact that the hotel used to be the Board of Education building appealed to me greatly. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. I will definitely recommend this hotel!
Pros (+) Walking distance to attractions and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was our first visit to Cleveland and we had a great time.
Cons (-) The breakfast was ok and happy hour snacks were mediocre. With so many great restaurants and bars in the area we opted out of the free stuff.
Pros (+) Kevin at the front desk was very friendly and nice. The woman (didn’t get her name) was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and nice rooms. It was a great location for the things our family had planned.
Cons (-) The only negative was we were on the first floor by the lobby and at night and early morning we could hear some conversations.

Pros (+) Loved the whole feel of the retrofitted space! Extraordinarily comfortable, great safety features, and amazing location.
Pros (+) Recently opened after multi million dollar historical restoration...beautifully done well appointed and great central downtown location.
Cons (-) Although not crowded during my stay I would imagine the hallways will become very noisy due to the beautifully restored marble floor and half wall wainscot.
