Good location close to South station, large room, good value for money.
Bath tub was broken/cracked, didn't dare to use. Otherwise ok bathroom, nice good shower, so not a big problem.
The room is big enough. That's it. Price was okay for the location.
Breakfast is INEDIBLE. Generally do not expect anything 'western food' (e.g. scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt etc...) in this hotel breakfast. I have even asked a couple of Chinese and they all told me that the breakfast was too terrible. The hotel staff should realise that the majority of foreigners coming there cannot eat hard steamed rice, stir-fried vegetable or chili Hunan-style pork belly as their breakfast. Room cleaning was scheduled in the afternoons instead of mornings, even if you display the 'Please make up my room' sign. There was once that the room was not serviced at 4pm. Very bad coz I suffered from time difference and need to sleep during afternoon. The switches of room were too complicated. When you try to light up the room, there are 15 switches waiting for you to get the full light. When you try to sleep and find out one light is not switched off, you need to try up to 14 switches before finding the correct ones. Also bathroom was not clean and has smells. Water could spill up and fill the toilet floor when taking a bath, and the hot water pressure is always low. The hotel also has 'pay-to-use' items. Be sure not to accidentally open those or damage those. Finally, front desk staff are rude, but I was not surprised about their bad attitude since I have a realistic expectation for what this price of hotel would provide. Overall, choose this if you really have tight budget & expect poor experience. You can find other hotels with high c/p value elsewhere, presumably next doors.
Breakfast was useless Staff didn't know English at all Towels were very old
