Pros: The staff at the location were very nice.Cons: The wait times for a reservation they were about an hour. Then the fact of them running out of cars for their reservations that were made a week prior. I called customer service to ask to change the drop off location to the airport across the street which it was supposed to be, he said there was nothing her can do and if I wanted to talk to someone about it, to go to the location (mind you they were closed on Sunday) and speak with them. Then he said thank you and hung up. I rented a pickup truck for 2 days. Then I had a reservation for a SUV for a week. When I took the truck back to pick up the SUV, I waited close to an hour for them to tell me that I was out of luck since they were out of cars. Asked me to keep the truck, which was not ideal since I had two car seats that I needed to fit in the back. Kevin was very apologetic about the incident. I rested a car a week prior and the same issue with them running out of cars happened then as well. Which I had a reservation. I went to another rental company and ended up paying 3 times the cost because Hertz can barley handle their reservations. This isn’t great customer service.

Cons: The office was busy when I picked it up. The agent had to clean the car. It smelled like someone had chain smoked with the windows up the entire rental. It was a nice car, drove well and they were good about me extending the rental for a few more days.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The car was clean and in good shape. Drop off was very easy.Cons: We waited a long time to pick up. Computers were slow and there were only two people working but the very nice woman who helped us was very apologetic.

Pros: Staff was fine, relatively easy check in and drop off.Cons: There were drink and food stains in the car which means it was definitely not cleaned. Normally this would just be a little level of concern but when a company pledges to sanitize their cars during a pandemic and doesn’t even do the bare minimum to clean it, it’s very very concerning and frankly a lie. We had to sanitize it ourselves out of fear.

Pros: The staff member, Lyudmila, was amazing. One of the best customer service representatives I have ever had to talk with. Went above and beyond to help my wife and I. I feel as if she deserves some kind of bonus or something. Hire more employees like her. The other employees that were working were also very friendly and helpful. Thanks to her, and the other employees, I would definitely recommend budget, as well as renting from you again.Cons: Honestly, nothing. Everyone, and the whole rental process, went great.

Pros: Staff was friendly and efficient.Cons: Car was dirty. There were crumbs from previous rental that hadn’t been vacuumed. It was disgusting. I was late for meeting or I would have asked for a different car.

Don't believe the price quotedPros: Nice new car, friendly service, easy in general.Cons: The price quoted was very different to the final price we paid. I know this was down to the insurance but really, when will someone start giving a full price quote including collision damage waiver etc - a quote that anyone would pay rather than these low quotes that then get totally inflated by around 40% of the original quote. It is misleading and very disappointing to always have to pay so much more when it comes down to the nitty gritty.

Pros: the staff at buffalo airport were very helpful.Cons: the car i got was smelly, the volume button didn’t work, the windshield wipers were not very effective. the cost for a one way drop off was extreme.

Pros: The staff at Buffalo changed my rate on an upgrade instead of just an additional $10. I was very pleased with the drop off for the manager was able to correct the mistake that was done.Cons: The whole process of dropping off at a different location was good but please pay attention to the pickup location. Make sure you are getting what was quoted to you and save the email with your confirmation information. I questioned it before I left, but it wasn’t corrected but thankfully it was on the other end.

Dirty carPros: The car itself was a hybrid, so very economical. It was a nice drive also and had Apple CarPlay.Cons: The car I was given was switched at the last minute between the desk and the pick-up kiosk. This particular car looked like a family of 4 had a food fight in it, and it reaked of deodorizer and cigarette smoke. The stains were kind of embarrassing, but I didn’t have time to deal with the hassle of calling and swapping it out.

BUF- car rentalPros: The car drove nicely and the size accommodated what we needed to bring back to Buffalo.Cons: The car was not cleaned when we arrived- food packages in the seats, filthy windshield, once we got it home and had a chance to look it over. We had to wait over 30 minutes in order to pick up the car making my arrival to work delayed. You receive texts, emails, reminders about the pending pickup up, yet it seemed like they were unprepared for the booming. The overall booming was not also communicated that through your website no changes could be made since it was a special Hotwire deal etc. This was very frustrating for the money we spent. Next time I may just book through actual car rental place to ensure changes, cleanliness, and customer service to be quicker upon arrival.

Cons: I booked my rental for a 2 a.m. drop off Friday at the Cincinnati Airport. It never said that there were any issues with my booking. When I arrived at 12:45 a.m (early) Dollar was closed and the outside gates were locked. Not only that, but the rental office didn’t open up again until Monday. I was charged additional hours and additional days!! How can this be okay? It was not possible for me to return my car. Also, my car was very dirty inside when I picked it up which is additionally concerning with COVID.
