Two complaints: 1. We arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled rental pickup. Was told that we would have to wait 1/2 hour or they would charge us for an extra day. Went back in 10 minutes before the scheduled pick up time and asked if we could pick up yet. She said "Yes. We allow a 30 minute window without charging an extra day." So, we could have received it the first time we came in!!! 2. Rented a compact SUV (description said similar to Toyota Rav4). We received a Jeep Renegade. It got TERRIBLE gas mileage. After being on the road for 30 minutes, the gauge was already down 1/4 tank! Ridiculous!!! Please use cars that get better gas mileage.Thrifty

Pickup took over an hour. Not the vehicle I requested. After pickup vehicle had maintence light on dash and brake rotors warped causing vibration when stopping on highway. Overhead console cubby door broken, hanging down. Expected better from Hertz10,0 Wonderful

The actual Hertz location is dingy and in a bad area. There was only one person working first thing in the morning and when you’re trying to get on with your travels it’s super inconvenient.
