Van tires without tread. Needed tire repair. Tires cannot pass inspection. Very problematic and expensive Return agent rude and unprofessional. No trolley available for luggage. Out of order stated on machine.

Car tires were not inspected prior to giving to me and had blowout at midnight that left me and my family stranded on the side of the road for three hours. Both front tires had steel belts showing fully around both tires.

I was on guard that rental agency at up selling a running customers on returns/check-ins. I was like that at all with the professional and efficient staff on the desk. They were good people, very helpful.

It took 2hrs for me to get my rental keys when I landed. I had to wait 1.5hrs just to get checked in and then another 30mins just to pick up the keys after being checked in. Absolutely ridiculous.

I had a reservation for 10, and didn't receive a car until 11:15. All of the other customers had to wait at least 30 minutes, and they had reservations too. Based on location reviews, this is the norm rather than a one off occurrence. The car was fine.

There was no one at the airport counter, and a sign for dollar that was misleading. The actual rental location was a booth in the rental garage outside in the twenty degree weather. There was only one person working the holiday weekend and the process took over an hour

Car stinked of tobacco. Returned the car early and was assured I would receive an adjustment in my account, it has been over 2 weeks and still nothing. Do not recommend.

Dollar had no one at their counter. After a scavenger hunt from location to location we ended up at hertz where system was down for 45 minutes as we waited

Pros:

Drop off was very easy. The Explorer was super comfortable and easy to drive.

Cons:

Inside of car was not cleaned very well at all. Fold down seats were full of dog hair. Between the seats was a nasty baby pacifier. So discusting !!!

HERTZ IS THE ONLY CAR RENTAL PLACE AT THE AIRPORT THAT HAS A MILE LONG LINE. I HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR IN AN EXTREMELY HOT AND HUMID PARKING LOT FOR A CAR....EVEN THOUGH I HAD A RESERVATION. I WAITED ALL THAT TIME TO BE HANDED A CAR THAT DIDN'T FUNCTION PROPERLY (A TESLA THAT CUT OFF/SHUT DOWN SEVERAL TIMES WHILE DRIVING) AND WASN'T FULLY CHARGED WHEN I GOT THERE. THEY DON'T SEEM TO BE IN ANY RUSH AT ALL NOR DO THEY SEEM TO CARE/TAKE THEIR JOB SERIOUSLY. THE RETURN WAS QUICK AND EASY...BUT I KNEW THAT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I WAS CHARGED FOR TWO EXTRA DAYS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T GET AROUND TO CHECKING IN THE CAR UNTIL THEY FELT LIKE IT. IT WAS SUCH A HASSLE DEALING WITH HERTZ TO GET THE MONEY BACK. WHEW CHIL THE GHETTO!!! NEVVVVEEEERRRRRRRRRRR AGAIN!!!

The usb port was not functioning so I couldn’t connect my phone to the screen to see navigation. I had to balance the phone on the dash or hold it the entire time which made for a very stressful driving experience. Also unclear instructions in the parking garage led me to choose an electric vehicle initially which I then had to return. Disappointed.

It was easy to pick the car up and the staff was very friendly. I wasn’t, however, crazy about the fact that they gave me a Prius (I wanted a compact not a hybrid). Drop off was a little tough to figure, I think you just need better signage. All in all, a pretty good experience.
