i made a monthly rental from May 10 to Jun 9, i went back to Enterprise to make another monthly rental on Jun 7, since Jun 9 is Sunday, the operator just closed the contract on Jun 7, which made me 2 days loss, and never noticed me i can come back to Enterprise to make the new contract on June 9.6,8 Okay

The car reeked of cigarettes. It was quite overpowering and I could smell it on my jacket after getting out of the car. As a family of non smokers, traveling with a young child, it was kind of gross and embarrassing.10,0 Wonderful

Cons:
Hertz and I made a contract for a week long cargo van rental for a business trip. A full week before I needed it. They confirmed the contract twice. I arranged for someone to drop me off to pick up the cargo van. Upon arrival at the pick up location, there was no cargo van. It wasn't even a Hertz location so I could not remedy the situation on site. I returned home and called Hertz. I eventually had to ask the representative to stop apologizing and start problem solving. I had to basically coach the representative to find me a replacement van at another location. In order to get it I had to pay for another rental and wait several days for a refund of the other. After three hours, several gallons of gas, and my drop off person being late for work I had a van. Which I then discovered had damage, a burnt out light, and less gas and more mileage than stated on the contract. It eventually got sorted out but I will not be working so hard to give Hertz my money in the future. That $75 credit for a future rental I won't use with this company does not compensate the expenses incurred due their broken contract.2,0 Poor

I tried calling Hertz 6 times to request a rental extension because of an unexpected family emergency and all six times no one answered. We also were unable to fill the car up with gas as no Gas Stations within 30 miles had a working pump due to the Oil Pipeline hack. This was ruled a State of Emergency yet Hertz still charged up $7 a gallon to fill the tank up.2,0 Poor

I was promised a car for a trip I planed for a month .the same day hertz on east main st in salem va. called and told me they had no cars so I had to cancelled my vacation never have got my money back what do I do thanks8,8 Very Good

It was the perfect vehicle for my needs. Pickup/dropoff was quick and location is convienient. Employee was professional and pleasant.Cons:
the vehicle wasn't clean enough. There was a film on the interior of the windows and some seats had crumbs and crust.8,0 Very Good
