Pros: The truck was clean
Cons: The truck I reserved was a dodge 1500. However when I picked it up it was a much smaller Nissan. This caused issues since there were five of us crammed in this little truck. They said they would try and get us a bigger truck but never received a call...

Pros: Upgrade to Caravan was great. Checked with E. Wash., Madison, WI location and was allowed to drop vehicle at nearby Dane. Co. Regional Airport to my convenience. Appreciated not having to arrange another taxi ride. Thank you!

Cons: Didn't have the car I reserved. Upgraded to mid-SUV. Was not cleaned nor did it have a full tank of gas.

Pros: Car was great but they didn't have what I reserved so they upgraded me to an SUV.
Cons: Car dropoff was difficult to find (not Enterprise's fault). Real problem was being way overcharged. They didn't have the car I reserved so they upgraded me to an SUV. I thought it was at no extra charge but I couldn't find my email confirmation on my phone to see the agreed upon rate. Lesson learned. From now on I'm going to kill trees and bring hard copies of everything so I don't get ripped off because I used a 3rd party site.
Pros: I just wanted to say that the Madison Hertz employee Alex is doing a great job. He was very helpful and patient with all my questions when I returned the car. His kind manner would definitely make me return to Hertz if I needed a car in Madison again.

Hard working agent!
Pros: The sole agent on duty was doing his level best to do the jobs of several people. No one was in the office when I arrived to pick up the car, because the agent was out picking up a car from somewhere. Then, because he was the only one there, I needed to wait while he went out and cleaned the car really well. When I returned The car, I had to use the drop box, because once again the agent was out picking up a car.
Cons: This office needs to hire more agents! The agent you have is great,but there is only one of him!

Cons: I called to change the time of pick up from noon to 7AM and person on phone in Hertz told me it has been changed but when I went to pick up the Van at 7Am I was asked why was I early, the Van is booked for noon.

Cons: The surprise when I got to the airport when my plane came in to find out that I actually had to go clear across town (30 minutes) to get the car. My plane came in at 5 & I was suppose to pick up the car at 5 - BUT Alex was kind enough to wait for us so we jumped in a cab and make it to the address before Alex had to close.

Didn't have class of car I purchased
Cons: First of all I was first in line and there was another couple behind me and the associate ask if he could wait on them first. Sure why not. They rented a small SUV. That's what I was suppose to get. Then when I get up there they didn't have a car in my class and had to pay for the next higher class or I wouldn't have got nothing. I even called corporate and they said that I would have to take it up with the location.... Will not be using hertz or recommend them ever again....
Pros: Convienent, adequate mileage given, good price, and what I expected.

Pros: Convenient location in airport
Cons: I was not given the car I had been promised. The agent tried to upsell (by $9 per day) to give me a comparable car (full size). Both agents (pick-up and drop-off) told me that they knew it was misleading but that they didn't have any control over what corporate does. The agent asked me if i wanted a GPS. I said "sure," and she had me sign for it, but didn't tell me they were charging me almost $12 per day to use it (literally highway robbery!). They said they would e-mail me my receipt but it has been more than 24 hours and nothing has come.

Pros: Friendly but slow counter service.
Cons: Slow process to complete pick up. I received no communication that the drop off point for my one-way rental was a satellite location with no official Avis presence, then was charged for a second day after they claimed it was returned late even though there was only a place to drop the keys, so they have no way of verifying my return time. When I called to dispute the additional late charges, the customer service was slow and unhelpful.

Pros: The staff at the counter were very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The car was in pretty poor condition. It had some dents and scratches, and if it had been cleaned the cleaning didn't show. Candidly, the car wasn't worth the high rental cost; I've had much nicer cars for a lower cost at other airports.

Cons: After leaving the rental counter to pick up car, we had to wait about 25 minutes for our car to be prepped. There were no other customers and the staff was moving at a snails pace. We asked three times what was taking so long and were told the car needed to be cleaned, vacuumed and gas up. Why they need so much time and why they would wait until a car was rented to do these things is ridiculous.

Pros: The gas mileage of the rental
Cons: 1) The car quoted in the reservation is not available in there fleet, so they had to switch make and model. 2) Sticker shock on the price of insurance for car potentially being out-of-service. 3) Was told I could go directly to rental car website to locate and pay any tolls incurred on trip. But when entering the website address given into google, the site came up as not found.

Cons: My flight arrived at 11:43 pm. I called the rental desk, which normally closes at 11:pm, and I was told they would stay open if I put the flight number and time of arrival on the reservation form. I did that, my flight arrived on time, and the desk was closed. I did not pick up the car.
