Great car, great service, reasonable price
Pros: The people running the Budget office in Ljubljana were outstanding. Fast, efficient, courteous and helpful.
Cons: Nothing
Pros: Quick check in. Car was cleaned and full tank. Easy to drive.
Cons: The office was closed when I dropped off the car. I was instructed to leave keys with front desk and when I did the hotel staff seemed bewildered by this.
Also wish there was brief overview on how to drive the car (ie. controls like windshield, high beams, etc).
Pros: the car was clean and in excellent condition

fairly simple pickup/checkout process
Cons: A-pillar supports block key vision of pedestrians and turn-location for left turns, checking oncoming traffic on the right.
Pros: use them regularly and everything is always very easy and free of hassles!

Got billed 50 Euros for a small black mark that we can't confirm
Pros: Nothing much, we returned the car at 10pm and there was no one to help us.
Cons: We were billed 50 Euros for a small black mark that would be difficult to spot during pre-inspection. We felt that this was possibly an easy loophole from Hertz to take a couple extra dollars, and previous reviews of Hertz from other renters had similar views.We ended up paying about double of what we expected when we first saw the car rental on Kayak.com
Everything was great until drop off
Pros: Pickup, the vehicle, service were all fine. (Just waiting to see if there are extra charges as we’ve seen in other reviews....)
Cons: After hours drop off procedure needs to be addressed and changed. We were told there are always spots available around the block to leave the vehicle when dropping off after hours. This wasn’t the case when we dropped ours off. There aren’t many spots to begin with and most others were restricted. Fortunately we asked the hotel where we were to leave the documents and they said we could leave the vehicle in their garage. This Hertz location needs to have better/clearer options for when dropping off vehicles after hours.
