Very disappointed in this rental. Arrived and no car was available despite the fact I had this scheduled for over a month for my honeymoon. Was told I had to travel 10-15 minutes down the road to get another car. Asked what car I wanted, told them. Then when I arrived that car was not available and I was told it had been “wrecked”. Was given another car I didn’t want to drive and it was filthy. I asked them to clean it for me and the car only had about 1 gallon of gas in the tank. Enterprise called me the next day to check on the car and I was told they would switch out the next day but they called, didn’t leave message, and never followed up. By then it was too late for me to get another car because I had to leave for my trip. Very disappointed. Would not rent from these locations again.9,2 Wonderful

Unfortunately, the tire had a slow leak. It was very upsetting that trip required us to stop often to keep refilling the tire to have safety for my family. Due to holiday weekend it added a little more stress as the service stations didn’t have air or no one for help2,4 Poor

The windshield wipers did not work and it was snowing outside . Had to pull over several times to clean the windows and it took me 7 hours for a trip that should’ve only been 3.5. The office was closed so had to call roadside assistance and the only thing they said I could do was wait to the next day to trade in the car for another available one, but only if the office was open and had available cars. Had to go to two different offices to finally find a car they could get me into.6,4 Okay

I've had success at this Avis location in the past so I tried using them again.Cons:
The car was not ready (needed vacuumed) when I picked it up. After I left the location as was en route to my destination I noticed this horrible smell and since Windows were open when we did the walk through with car, I didn't notice the horrible smell of smoke. I didn't have time to return car so I had to drive almost 500 miles with this horrible smelling car. I am very disappointed in the service.8,0 Very Good

The car wasn't at the location when we arrived. They told us it would be there in 20 minutes. The manager spoke extremely rudely to me, seemingly indignant that I dared to ask a question, when I asked them to explain why there was no car for our scheduled pick up time. Then, no one spoke to us until an hour later, when I asked them where the car was (they still didn't have an answer). They repeatedly tried to pressure me to take a different car, even after I explained that I didn't feel comfortable driving such a vehicle. They offered not a single word or gesture of apology for the inconvenience. The delay caused us to miss some of our plans for the day. Had we had any other option, we would have left the store, but we were stuck. I will never rent from this location again.Hertz
