I received call and text the day before to confirm my 10am pick up time. When I arrived at that time no one from Hertz was there. Person arrived 20 min later and then it took 20 more min to get the car. John (Mgr?) from Riverhead office promised 15% off. Haven't seen it yet.Cons:

The rental dealership gave away all the cars before I got there, and never had the courtesy to call me to let me know -- all because I didn't show up at an arbitrary pickup time. I will never -- underscore NEVER -- deal with Hertz again!10,0 Wonderful

I rented a 12 person van and when I went to pick it up I was informed that they cancelled my reservation even though I received a confirmation email the day before. I had to rent a 8 person expedition that I had to put 10 people in for 4 hours. Also the car was extrely dirty and one of the seatbelts wasn't even attached. Will never use kayak or budget ever again. Thanks for a miserable experience.2,0 Poor
