Car was not ready. Had to wait almost 45 minutes until another customer returned a vehicle. It caused my party to have to use Lyft because I wasn’t able to drive them to our destination. It was the entire reason I rented the car. Very disappointed yes with the experience.

When I got to the site to pick up the car, the agent asked me what kind of car I'd wanted and almost made me think that they didn't have the car I ordered. It was just a bit odd. Once I got in the car, I noticed that the gas tank was just over half full and that the windshield washer fluid light was on. I've never gotten a rental car with less than a full tank of gas. I took a photo of this and called the office. I was told that it "should" be noted that the tank was only half full and that I didn't need to worry about low windshield washer fluid - he thought he'd had water added earlier. When I went to use it, it wasn't low, it was empty. We filled the gas tank before dropping it off and let the drop off agent know that the windshield washer fluid was empty. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but it was not stellar.

NEVER, EVER AGAIN. After a hell of a travel day with my 9 month old and 3 year old, Enterprise were unwilling to help me out after finding out that apparently Priceline booked me a car at the wrong "Ontario, California location". I was told "Good luck" getting to this location from where I was taken by the airport shuttle. I had NO WAY of getting to the "correct" location. I called the "correct location" and got hung up on THREE TIMES until finally someone answered and THEN suggested that I get myself a Lyft over there. How the hell was I supposed to do that with two children?! Complete strangers renting from the Airport Drive location overheard me and had enough kindness, empathy, and compassion to offer me a ride to the other location, and yet the Enterprise employees here did NOTHING. I am beyond furious! Not to mention, I couldn't cancel because their policy stated that it was non-transferable and non-refundable. So I basically would have been out over $500 if I just decided to say, "Screw it." The cherry on top when I finally arrived at the "correct location" was that I was given a car with an empty gas tank! UNBELIEVABLE! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION, NOR THIS COMPANY. NEVER AGAIN.

I did appreciate the ease of this rental. To be be honest I didn’t get a chance to really evaluate this .There was confusion , possibly my lack of understanding on how these work. My confirmation said date of pickup and 12 pm. Then it said fate of drop off 12pm I incorrectly assumed this was a predesignated time to pick up. I was wrong in that this time was time of closure. Very frustrating. Did say this anywhere time of closure. Maybe this needs to be clearer for those of us who don’t use these sites on a regular basis.

The rental price was very reasonable.Through KAYAK I was quoted "Unlimited Miles," however when I arrived to pick up the van, I was told that there was a 375 mi/day limit and that I would be charged $.45 for every additional mile. Apparently, there is a discrepancy between what KAYAK quotes and what AVR quotes - and the customer is responsible for uncovering that discrepancy. The address that I was given by KAYAK to pick-up the vehicle was incorrect... closed due to COVID-19. Luckily, there was someone at that closed location who was able to direct me to the proper address (which was only 2 miles away). The van was clean... sort of. There was a noticeable amount of sand in the carpets from the previous users who, most likely, went to the beach. In light of COVID-19, I was told that all the surfaces were sprayed with Lysol.

The first van I picked up failed to start after I brought home and packed the van with my luggage. It took me about 30 minutes to reach someone to report the issue. I had to drive back to the location and exchanged out for another van. The overall experience was a bit frustrating.

Horrible experience will never use AVR.For starters, I made a reservation and the office was never open. I waited 2 hours and called the number and no one ever answered or anything. Not even an apology or anything. I had to go to another agency and had to pay more because it was a same day reservation. So upset. Never using Kayak again either.

When we went to pick up our van, no one was on property. My husband called the number provided. When a lady answered she stated they had no vans available and all reservations had been cancelled. She stated everyone was contacted the day before. I can assure you NOONE from any company contacted us to cancel our reservation. This was for our daughters ‘drive thru’ graduation so we could take our family to see her graduate. This company ruined that experience for her and our family. We spent the entire morning scrambling to find another van, ending up spending 400x the money. Our attorney is contacting this company. What a horrible experience. I would NEVER recommend such an unscrupulous business!The business should have honored their reservations. The corporate office should answer their phones and emails. I’ve yet to receive a response from their corporate office as to an explanation. Do Not Trust this rental company. We were not the only customer standing there.

Absolutely nothing.This place was shuttered and in the ghetto and did not answer our many calls previous to and during our pick-up time. It is literally a shell of a rental company and a scam. We were left high and dry on a van rental for a family vacation and had to scramble to figure something else out for ourselves after we spent much time driving out to them and trying to get them to respond. Disappointed and angry!

Staff was very helpful. I had a dilemma and I needed to pick up the vehicle earlier than scheduled, Erika was able to make this happen. Upon return, Alicia was very personable and professional. I left my gate card in the rental vehicle and when I returned to pick it up she came curbside to give me the card. I was impressed with her all around customer service. In fact I was very impressed with the two ladies courtesy and professionalism in making this an excellent car rental experience. I will certainly use them again.

Didnt like having to have a credit check in lieu of credit card use. Check out was fine otherwise and fast. Car was not cleaned at all. Outside very dirty. Inside had toe prints on the passenger side windshield. Found used bottle of water and sausage jerky left from previous car renter inside middle compartment. Drop off was sketchy. Came inside this location and NO ONE was there. Knocked on various doors and could see into back area where time clock and break room resided. Waited 10 mins and was forced to leave keys on counter and take photos with time stamp as proof of prompt return. As I was leaving, Avis rental agent was pulling up in a car.

The airport ran out of cars and my reservation was shifted to a nearby Avis 2 miles away. I went to get my car but they were closing. The employees refused to help me get my car.Actually give me a car. I asked the airport if they could accommodate and they send they would if I gave them $300 more for an upgraded car. This entire situation was not my fault and I decided to not do business with Avis. I will not rent with Avis in the future.

Noting the sales associates was very rude and unhelpful when I called to explain to them what was going on a guy was screaming at me ask me what doses he want me to do the air condition was not that cold and the last person who had the car had a dog so my asthma was acting up thay told meThay told me to drop off the car at 6:00pm when I got there thay was close

Adriene C. at the drop off was very helpful. But by then- it was too late to recover the previous events1- waiting in a long line for over an hour to pick up a car is insane. The one guy said everyone called off and the could not replace their shifts- really? 2- when you call, you do not get a local person. I had questions about dropping off on a holiday and was told the location was OPEN.

Budget was great. The issue was I used your site to book and although I put in Ontario Airport, that’s not where my car was!! The ease of pick-up and car return was fine. The young man at the counter when I returned the car was great.The older gentleman the director of Budget, Ontario CA needs customer care classes. He was not friendly, short bordering on rude, he charged me for rental insurance and I am sure he saw that I had taken it from the KAYAK vendor. So I paid both places? They need to refund my money for that charge. The outside part of this Budget does not have a place for renters parking and it is confessing entering the location.

Website misleadingI didn't have the option to choose a pick up time. The website didn't say the rental agency was not at the airport. Agency closed, unable to rent that day and had to rent from someone else for a day. HUGE inconvenience and expense. Read website info carefully.See above

When I ask for a car at an airport, and you note a well-known rental car company at an address, how am I supposed to know that it is not the location I inquired about.? Went to the location I wanted, not realizing it was another location. They tried to assist but in the end I paid a lot more money than my reservation called for, and I got a lot smaller car.

I was rejected because I am Asian.Nothing. Discorteous staff. Did not get the chance to rent from that place. Im warning tourists who doesnt have a local id, that the guy would charge you double. I was supposed to get a package for 185 dollars, but when he found out that I dont have a California Driver License, he immediately jacked up the price to 450. It could be misrepresentation on the part of Kayak or maybe next time they would inform this branch of the requirements. Good thing, I booked through enterprise as 2nd option. so Please beware of this branch.the Biased guy manning the store. Stay away, not unless your a local from chino hills.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCEWhen booking this car, I imported airport codes for both the pick-up and drop-off locations for the car. Apparently, when booking with a third party website (like Kayak) they will just automatically switch the locations for pick-up and drop-off to local rental locations based on price. At pick-up at the Ontario airport, I was alerted that my car was at a Budget 3.5 miles away and we had to go back to the airport and take a cab to the location. At drop-off (when I was in a hurry to catch a flight) I was alerted they could not receive the car because the drop-off was at a Budget 4 miles away. They said they could drive it over for a $300 fee. Instead I had to rush the car over to the location and take an Uber back to the airport and barely made my flight. They whole situation was extremely stressful and beyond annoying. I will not be booking with you again. If a customer enters AIRPORT CODES for pick-up and drop-off they should clearly be solidified as the only possible place for pick-up and drop-off.

The office was closed by the time I came to pick up the van. I was there 5 minutes late due to traffic. I went to another rental place and got there vehicle. I will NOT rent from Hertz again....

I called HERTZ the morning of my rental asking if they had a pick up service and I was told yes. I asked if I could schedule my pick up by 3:30 since my rental pick was at 4:00pm and was told there was no need to schedule my pick up to call back when I was ready. At 3:15pm I called and when I was asked my address I was told that I was out of the 5 miles radius by now it was 3:30pm. Then I was told that I could call Lift or Uber that they would pay for my trip. I requested a pick up from Uber which my trip cost me $52.79. Once I was helped I asked for my credit for the Uber ride and was told that they can only give me $15.00 however, they couldn't even give me the $15.00 credit since I booked utilizing a 3rd party. So bottom line they didn't give me the credit of $15.00 nor paid for the Uber ride. I also had to wait for them to go get the car washed.BETTER COMMUNICATION AND BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE

Even though the Google said that they close at 6:00, we arrived a little after 4:00 not knowing they close at 4:00. After frantically trying to decide what to do, they opened their office up for us. Thank you!The interior of the car was a bit dirty, but other than that, it was a great experience!

The wait was long. I did not get the car that I already reserved and paid for. Had to call their 800 number myself to request a refund because the Hertz at this location would not do it.What is the point of having a car reserved and paid for if Hertz just gave it to someone else because I was not there to pick it up on time? What worse. The lady came back to tell me there is another car, but I would need to pay more.

Customer service was lacking at my return of the vehicle. Many customers waiting and no sense of urgency from employees. They seemed more interested in helping the phone in customers than the ones standing/sitting right in front of them. They also did not acknowledge some of the customers at all when they walked in. I did fill out a survey from Hertz about my experience.

Time and VehicleThe members of the Hertz team were friendly and did their job wellI had to wait for about an hour to get my helped and on the road, with only 4 or 5 people in front of me and 2 attendants. They did not have my vehicle type when I got to the desk and was offered a lower vehicle when there were higher ones in the lot. It is not my fault that proper inventory is not held and I should not have to be the one to take the hit on quality for the same price.

Excellent experienceI've rented cars a lot over my career but mostly from airport locations. This was my first experience away from the airport, so parking my personal car in the shopping center during Christmas was a challenge finding space. Once in the office, there was the anticipated line with everyone seemingly having problems. Finally getting to the counter, Danny was extremely helpful in upgrading our car and getting us on our way. Great value for a week's worth of driving less miles on my own car. We'll definitely be back again!
