I reserved the convertible mustang one way to Miami from Port Charlotte. When I arrived, they said "we do not have that type of car." They put me in a jeep compass. I got 10 miles down the road and the tire pressure indicator light came on. I stopped - flat tire. I called the rental office and they said "call road side assistance on the key chain - they will either come out with a new tire or new vehicle" I called. They said it could be a couple hours. They also said they would not deliver a new tire and that a new vehicle would take 4-6 hours. I had an appointment. I changed the tire to the doughnut (note: the new Jeep compass does not have pedal or lever activated emergency brakes - its an obscure button and "park" is not sufficient to keep the SUV from rolling!) - I gave them the address that I would be at for my appointment, they said they could not be there in my time frame. I called the local office back and they told me to call national. I called national office and they said to call local. Local finally agreed that when I brought the vehicle back I would get a replacement. I had been on my way to Miami and had to back track 30 minutes to do so. Overall loss of time was about 2.5 hours due to poor maintenance and poor customer support. Add this to the issue of them renting a vehicle not in stock and I will never use Budget/Avis again.6,4 Okay

Pros:
reserved a car for a Thursday pick up and a Sunday drop off. For a Sunday drop off I was given the choice of the CVG airport or Montgomery Rd. I chose the Montgomery Rd location. Sunday morning went to look up the address and the google page said it was closed. Called Hertz customer service and they assured us we could do a drop off there. Drove an hour to the location, its closed, big sign on door NO OVERNIGHT DROP OFFS. Called customer service, they said take car to the Kemper Rd location. Got to that location sign on door THIS LOCATION IS CLOSED FOR REMODELING. Called customer service again, they couldn't help, transferred us to roadside assistance. We were on hold for 55 minuets and they just hung up. Called the Montgomery Rd unit on Monday, they said they would not count the vehicle as checked in until they could spare someone to go to the second location and bring the car back.Cons:
