Pros: Staff was amazing... kind, warm, helpful and fantastic
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable room.
Cons: Lots of UNC Chapel Hill decorations (I'm a Duke fan), but I expected that in a hotel in Chapel Hill, NC!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The modernistic style it had.
Cons: That we had to pay for parking. If I'd known that I had to pay $10 for parking, I'd put the money towards another hotel. Nowhere in the information before booking did it include a parking fee.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and great location to UNC Chapel Hill
Cons: I had to pay for parking which wasn't clear before I booked the hotel. A free breakfast was not included.
6,3 Good
Cons: Quite noisy. Could easily hear conversations in the next door rooms
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location, availability and helpfulness of staff, room layout was modern and inviting
Cons: The mattress was way too firm for my liking
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and respectful love it
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Very hipster atmosphere, attentive staff
Cons: My only complaint is related to the shuttle service, very restricted on where it can go and hours of operation. I call to see if they could pick me up at the airport, but the front desk told me that it was too far way, I understand that you have to restrict your shuttle to a certain mile radius, but picking up your guests at the airport should be considered for future service extension of the shuttle. My meetings started at 7:30 everyday, but the shuttle do not start until 8, so I could not use it in the mornings either.
7,0 Good
Pros: fun atmosphere, comfortable beds, consistent heat, good price.
Cons: I booked, and all they had were pet friendly rooms ready when I arrived at 3. It was fine, but I think it's weird to allow pets in a hotel.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Limited Television and movie options.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the atmosphere when you walk in the door, open and fun. The bar was great, especially the bartender. Loved the room! I'll be back.

Pros: Staff at bar were great! Bar drinks were very good and breakfast food was delicious.
Cons: The pet fee was $75 a night and was not disclosed or posted on any booking information. That was an unacceptable charge and I questioned it but with no solution at the hotel when checking in. I however could not leave and go anywhere else because I had no other reservation and my dog was with me. They were out of many menu options and service at restaurant was slow! We were told conflicting information about what was included for breakfast. The bathroom was dirty and furniture was very scuffed up in room.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The room that we stayed in was clean and very nicely decorated with newer furniture and designs. It’s important to note here that this was a free upgrade from the room we booked and were first assigned to that had several issues. - We asked about the breakfast buffet and they offered it for free. And that was BEFORE we saw our first room with the issues. Front desk clerk was super pleasant and understanding at every step along the way. And so was the check out clerk.
Cons: The first room assignment was for a standard king. We arrived very late for check in and we were disappointed when we got to our room to find 2 lamps not working, a clock not plugged in and a broken toilet seat. - At that late hour we were nearly tempted to accept it as it was just so we could get to sleep. But my spouse and I both shared fears that the toilet seat may end up actually injuring us if we slipped off. So we called the office. After a bit of a wait the clerk brought us up a new room key for an upgraded suite. She said she took the time to inspect it first. I suppose we should be grateful for that.

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: I was put in the back building. Dirt parking lot and charged $5/night to use and there was barely room to park. The back building felt like a college dorm building. Cheap/dirty feeling bathroom. Not nearly worth the price for the experience.
6,0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: The hotel was dated and kind of grossed me out
8,8 Excellent
Pros: What I have to say that is SUPER positive about this hotel is that: 1. It SMELLS SO GOOD. Really clean and neat and tidy. 2. Very nice business center! 3. Great having a little grill right in the lobby 4. The room I had was very spacious and had a TON of outlets. Seriously, there's like 8 outlets that I can see from where I'm sitting. 5. The decor was VERY nice. Bathrooms were more modern with adjustable shower heads, they had towels that were color coordinated like you would have at your house. Very nice bathroom soaps, lotions, etc. Makeup mirror, too! Maybe this was a one off experience, maybe staff was tired or something but the service I received at the desk wasn't very helpful. The hotel is GREAT for the price and if you catch the front desk on a good day, I'd recommend this to anyone.
Cons: Background: This hotel was booked for me by my boss on booking.com for a business trip. After booking, we were given a receipt that showed the amount that was paid and the credit card that was used, we also had a pin and a confirmation #. I got an e-mail asking me to set my preferences for the hotel stay - I was impressed. I chose a king room on a higher floor with extra blankets, a good view and an early check in of 1pm. Early that morning I got a text saying that they weren't able to get me a room by 1pm. A bummer but I let that roll off of my shoulder. When I arrived at the front desk, the employee greeted me and got to work on checking me in but asked for a credit card. It turns out that they didn't have any "pre payment on file". So I offered to give them the confirmation number that I had. They just kept repeating that they have no record of the pre-payment. I offered to show them the PIN and the booking e-mail that I had on my phone. Again, "I'm not showing any pre-payment". Note, the employee did not look at my phone that I offered to show what I was talking about. They did offer that the only way that they could accept a credit card payment from my boss was by faxing a credit card authorization form. So I called my boss and she reminds me of the receipt that she e-mailed me and offers to help in anyway possible, maintaining that she already paid her card was already charged and that we have the receipt. (Which I did). I return to the front desk to try to show the employee the receipt from my phone and they looked at it briefly and said "that print is way too small, there's no way I can see that". So I call my boss back again and neither of us can figure out the problem, so my boss calls the customer service number and ends up fixing the problem. My issues are these: 1. The employee never even TRIED to look up my information via the confirmation number I had OR the receipt. I guess in all fairness they did try to look at the receipt but not very hard. They could've enlarged the screen, printed it out, something. 2. They never explained what the different problems COULD be. They just kept saying that we never paid. Without knowing WHERE the problem could be stemming from it was hard to figure out what to do next. I was just there saying we paid and they were saying "no you didn't" while not looking at my documentation. 3. After checking in the only request that I got fulfilled was the king room. I ended up on the 2nd floor and after all the frustration didn't even try to change it or request the extra blankets. 4. The staff wasn't really "friendly". They weren't mean but they didn't smile, only said things in a matter of fact manner.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is very conveniently located to Duke. The facilities are clean, the staff is friendly, and they even give out free Otis Spunkmeyer cookies at the front desk!
6,0 Good
Pros: The room was very convenient to the Duke campus. We decided to stay the night after a basketball game but weren't very familiar with the Durham area. This hotel was definitely a good place for people who don't know what else is around.
Cons: Having previously worked in hospitality for 6 years, I find myself more critical of hotels and their staff more than others. This staff was not very pleasant and I don't think any of the people I encountered smiled once. You need to ensure that guests who are out of their normal comfort of home feel comfortable in the place they'll be sleeping. The beds were also not great. The air conditioning/heat was very loud.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Wanted to be close to the Duke Cancer Center. The hotel was about 1/3 mile away; and the shuttle service was terrific.
Cons: Room to same and no comfortable chair to set in.
6,2 Good
Pros: Reasonable price and great location adjacent to Duke medical center and campus.
Cons: Aug 2016 the hotel is under renovation. No restaurant or breakfast. No fitness facility.

Pros: Everything about this hotel is first class, starting with the staff member who came over to our car with an umbrella in the rain when we first arrived. The room was well-appointed. Fabulous tiled shower enclosure. Super staff. Terrific restaurant.

Pros: What a beautiful place. Also, this is the only hotel I've visited lately that I've given a 10 out of 10 for staff. They were perfect.
Cons: No complaints. As close to perfect as possible.

Pros: We loved the location and the friendliness of the staff. It was a quick in and out trip but we felt right at home. The shuttle is a nice touch for dinner and made our trip even more convenient.
Cons: We wished the bar had a little more of a cozy environment. The other area of the lobby is inviting but the bar felt a little "under dressed" for the rest of the hotel.
