We stayed at the Residence Inn while a family member underwent surgery at Duke. We could not have asked for a nicer stay while we were in Chapel Hill. We interacted with Jerry and Stephanie at the Front Desk and they were very helpful. The breakfast room attendants were always cheery and kind also. Cons (-) We were traveling for a college to Chapel Hill for a college visit when I received a call from Expedia. It was less than 40 minutes before check-in time, and I was told the hotel had overbooked. They were canceling my reservation. Pros (+) I had a studio suite and it seemed quite luxurious. The kitchen was well equipped. The couch was modern and comfortable. The king size bed provided a good night's rest.
