Pros: Rosa, the owner is an excellent host! She made us feel welcome and also prepared an excellent breakfast!
Pros: Lovely owner, delicious breakfast, good point for trip to Etna and Taormina
Pros: Rosa simply is the best and the warmest b n b host you can have, nice and warm personality, so willing to help, make me just feel home!
Pros: Rosa is a lovely host which made us feel very welcome. She makes a very complete breakfast with more than enough food. Included in the breakfast is some granite ice, which was great!
Pros: Rosa is such a warm and helpful host, and she prepares the best breakfast! She even welcomed us with sweet sweet watermelon and homemade cake. The location of the house is very convenient for going to the Etna and Taormina. It was a very pleasant stay for us.
Pros: Rosa was very friendly and welcoming, very reactive, she helped us with many advices! The breakfast was really amazing...
Pros: Rosa is an extremely hospitable host. The breakfast and cake and coffee on arrival was extra good
Cons: There was a high up window in the room which you can't see out of. This had to be closed at night to keep noise out. This wasn't a problem as there was a ceiling fan. We were there in summer . It was cooler at night as the town is at a higher altitude than the coast
Pros: Very convenient near the bus and train and centre
Pros: Rosa was amazing and the breakfast delicious and plentiful. Rosa was very generous with her advice. Location was excellent for our Etna hike on the North side.
Cons: Floor fan in top floor bedrooms. It was a little warm. Thanks!

Pros: The hotel is beautiful and located near mount Etna. Beautiful gardens and grounds.
Cons: The spa wasn't as expected...felt very amateur.
Pros: What a beautiful resort set along the slopes of Mount Etna. Having breakfast on the outside terrace was so peaceful and tranquil. The staff was so attentive and professional. Bravo!
Pros: Great variety of choices including fresh omelette
Cons: The spa treatment and area could have been detailed to us a little more. I had a deluxe treatment and was just left there dripping wet after.... my husbands massage was good though .
Pros: The pool was really nice and the car service was free.
Cons: The service is not great. No one introduced us to the hotel and the facilities such as where to find the spa, bar or restaurant. The food is not fresh, avoid the burger that was industrial. Overall there’s no atmosphere in the hotel. No proper bar.
Pros: Breakfast was the best we had in our sicilt trip It was beyond the sicilian standards
Pros: Bedroom View if you like being on a hill side
Cons: Spa installation not fully working and nothing special Staff not really interested in delivering a 5*L service At the end I was not sure why I should come back
Pros: The rooms were great, clean, beautiful view, the staff were friendly but limited English speaking ability. Tranquil and relaxing
Cons: Breakfast was very limited, not much to choose from, Meals at the restaurant were very small and not filling although they did taste good. They were very expensive though. As too was getting transport to anywhere worth seeing. The hotel was way to far from any tourist attraction. about an hour to Taormina and about an hour to the airport. Hotel charged 100 euros for taxi to the airport. 75 euros to go to Taormina and even then we shared with others, and the price wasn't reduced. The English speaking ability of the staff was limited so sometimes communication was not good. The town of Linguaglossa was like a ghost town. Seemed all the businesses were closed day and night, surprised we didn't see tumbleweeds but at least it was tranquil.

Pros: The breakfast was exceptional, with several fancy egg choices and a broad array of high quality fresh breads, pastries, and fruit.
Cons: We had booked a standard double which was advertised as 269 square feet. We were given room #7, which was about 195 square feet (we measured), and much of that was wasted space because of an especially poor layout. The bathroom was long and narrow, accounting for more than 60 square feet, and the entry way was an unuseable 20 square feet, with an odd stone sticking eight inches out of the wall, about 3 feet high. We complained that we had no room to put out our suitcases, but were told they were fully booked for one of the two nights and had no other place to put us. But they charged us for the bigger room we had booked. There were nooks where they could have installed shelves, but instead they used most of the closet, so there was only 5 inches of hanger space, which needed to use most of for our winter coats. The room was very hot because it was over the spa, and there was no A/C this time of year. There were two highly focused lights that shined brightly where one might read in bed, but the rest of the room was very dark. Our daughter had room #4, which was advertised as a small double with 200 square feet, but was only about two-thirds that size.
Pros: Breakfast superb! Michelin restaurant extraordinary. Very stylish and contemporary design in what is essentially a historical Palazzo. Highly recommend it.
Cons: Nothing to do with the hotel but rather the booking process. I was disappointed to find out later that I could have earned Emirates skyward points with my booking had I booked through Emirates with booking.com. I’ve never known this and just happen to stumble across this when checking in for an Emirates flight. It would be good to include this info when placing a booking.
Pros: Great breakfast, clean rooms, helpful staff, good location for Etna tours
Cons: Uncomfortable bed, impractical room layout. Only mirror in the bathroom, nowhere to hang towels outside the shower which was located outside of the main bathroom
Pros: the restaurant
Cons: parking outside
Cons: Extremely hard bed.
Pros: Linguaglossa is a quite and very local town located on the mountain. You can experience local life here and relax. The facility is well maintained. The hotel has a Michelin 1 star restaurant where we had one of our dinner. Will return to revisit the town and the hotel when get the chance!
Pros: Beautifully restored property with comfortable and super clean rooms. Delicious breakfast. Didn’t have time to try the spa, but will next time!!
Pros: Wonderful place with clean, modern rooms, a lovely spa area for relaxing (worth spending an hour or two in to unwind) and a brilliant Michelin Star restaurant. Excellent value for money. Staff were friendly and happy to help with any request. Could not recommend this place enough.
Cons: Nothing. Our air conditioning broke and we noticed in the middle of the night when we woke up hot. We called the 24 hour reception and they gave us keys to the room next door so we could sleep the rest of the night. The next day the air conditioning was fixed before we got home. I was very impressed with the efficient way in which this was all handled

Located in Linguaglossa, Agriturismo Valle Galfina is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of San Francesco of Paola Church and Mount Etna Park. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We loved Valle Galfina; the room, surroundings, breakfast and views were all amazing. We used the pool, which was beautifully kept and had views to Mt Etna. We had a warm, friendly, helpful welcome.
Cons: Nothing could have been better.
Pros: Great Etna view. Nice pool - bit cold in the middle of September. Quiet place.
Pros: Lovely location, nice staff. The wine tour was fantastic and Guido spoke great English, was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. The wine was fabulous. The room was nice, the pool was beautiful. The bed comfy. The home cooked meal was also good.
Cons: Although we appreciate it was off season, no one was there the majority of the time-it would have been nice to see staff a little more as we were unable to ask questions/get advice bar maybe an hour a day.
Pros: We had a lovely big upstairs room with a view over the grapes and olives. We could see Mt Etna from the balcony of our room and it was endlessly fascinating watching the view change with the clouds and the smoke and steam from the small eruptions. At night there was a red glow from the mountain. The food was tasty home cooking style fare. We tasted the wine with dinner. The location was good for taking a tour of Etna from Etna Nord.
Pros: The location was really perfect and the pool was also very nice. We had a perfect winery tour & tasting from Guido - perfect English and he could answer all our questions. Breakfast was alright nothing special, but ok.
Cons: We had a strange Welcome, luckily one of he owners was there who Made it a little lees awkward. We got the key and Made a reservation for dinner in the restaurant the same night. Dinner was very dissappointing compaired to all the dinners we had before this was one of the most expensive ones but the baddest. Quality was not special, within an our we’ve had 3 dishes. Other people who came in had in half an out 4dishes. At breakfast we were Welcome friendly but I think his name was Robert, walked around during breakfast as if he was checking us. Really unconfortable. Use of swimming pool was perfect except for the sun beds, only 4 of whom 2 are totally broken. To be honest we recommend the winery tour and tasting, but not really the accommodation.
Pros: View from there was amazing to the Etna, especially during the night we could also see some lava when it ejected it high enough. Property is also really nice, the building, the swimming pool with Etna view and grapes, from which they produce really good vine.
Pros: magical location surrounding with vineyards, a great view of the Etna mountain, nice breakfast
Pros: Very beautiful views from the hotel and the surroundings
Pros: The serenity of the property, interrupted only by the sounds of roosters crowing, goats bleating, birds chirping met its match with the scent of garlic, tomatoes, cut grass and air. What a delicious treat for your senses. It managed to maintain its integrity, whether hosting a few guests or managing an Italian wedding!
Cons: I would have liked a better sound system and good Italian music. We wanted to dance......
Pros: Located in perfect surroundings on the Etna hillside, among wine fields where they produce the Etna Rosso red wine. The pool area was very nice. Large pool and only a few guests Good restaurant both for the breakfast serving and dinner. The fridge in the room was broken at arrival, but that was immediately fixed.
Cons: The room has an open loft, but the air conditioning was located in the lower part of the room making it hard to have a good temperature overall in the room. The staff seemed very busy, but friendly and helpful
Pros: The property is surrounded by lovely scenery and the grounds are well kept and very nice. The pool was very clean and of good size and dept and the pool area is spacious and comfortable with sunbeds. The staff were very helpful and friendly and always trying their best to accommodate for our needs. The rooms were not so spacious but generally comfortable and clean.
Cons: We had dinner twice. The 1st time was a bit disappointing. We then tried it another time during our stay and it was definitely better and good. However to be honest it still didn't meet our standards and we therefore preferred dining out at restaurants in the village of Linguaglossa where we found some restaurants with a much better quality of food. Breakfast was generally good with a moderate selection of food. However portions were limited and most of the days we needed to ask the staff to bring out more bread/milk/ fruit etc as once finished from the table it was not automatically replaced. Needless to say however that we never found any objection from the staff and they always got us was we ask for. Also, the venue organises wedding receptions. During our stay there a wedding reception was held and the pool could not be used in the afternoon/evening time (we were not informed beforehand). The music was quite loud and it only stopped around 1am!! We found this quite disrespectful in general as the loud noise could be heard from all the rooms and it was not even taken into consideration that we had very young children and babies that needed their rest. On another note we requested a cot in our room for our 10 month daughter. This was set up with no problems and was good and clean with bed sheets. However I found it quite unfair to charge us 10 euros extra per night for the cot.
Pros: The hotel has beautiful surroundings and the restaurant is situated right at the pool where you eat under the wines. Massimo who waits at the restaurant is very nice - the kids helped him out at the restaurant and he was so generous!! Thank you, Massimo! Very good food at restaurant - although you have to let staff know if you’re dining there.
Cons: The hotel claims to have a soccer field and also posts pictures of it. This is UNTRUE. The field belongs to someone else and can only be rented for the price of 50 € for one hour (yes, that’s right!). Our kids were very disappointed. The rooms are very dark and you really don’t want to spend any time there. Fridge warm. Kids are in shaky bunk beds on lower floor and there is a double bed on top floor. Air con can not cool down top floor.. Hotel claims to have rabbits and goats that kids can pet. We saw the goats, but kids were not allowed near rabbits. There is a dog locked all day in a shed near the garage. Not even for guarding - just sitting there all day with no purpose.. Made us very sad :(( location is far from everything. If you’re going to Etna south side (which most tourists are) this is not the place to stay.
Pros: Wonderful scenery, authentic experience.
Cons: Very hard to find, you have to use navigation from Linguaglossa, or you will end up in dead ends. Hotel staff does not speak good English.
Pros: Food was excellent. Surrounding tranquillity was to die for.
Cons: WiFi was not available in room
Pros: The grounds are beautiful! Rooms were clean and was ideal for the kids. The staff were very helpful.
Cons: Although the staff were very helpful, there were things that would not make me go back : Breakfast: fruit was not served on all days, amounts were strict to the number of guests or less, 8 slices of ham, 8 cheese etc...we were constantly asking for some more bread, some more cheese, another croissant, 4 eggs...etc Towels: we had to pay for using pool towels...not a deposit, like in any other hotel in the world. Late checkout: on the last day we had agreed that we vacate the rooms but we could use the facilities and stay a bit longer...after some time the owner changed her mind and wanted us out. We felt that this was not accommodating, especially when we had agreed otherwise and the place was empty so we were not being of any inconvenience to anyone. Pool: pool was cleaned with chemicals during the time where the kids were swimming, so we had to wait around for an hour before using it again. The area is full of beautiful agriturismi so we will look for an alternative next time we visit sicily.
Pros: Lovely little place within Etna's wine region. You need a car to be able to stay here as it is in the middle of nowhere. We arrived mid-afternoon, during a thunderstorm in August. Unfortunately our room was stull being cleaned by the chamber maid. However, we were able to sit in shelter on our terrace and my husband was able to purchase some of their own produced wine. Once the room was clean and we could move our bags in, the rain had subsided, so we moved to sit around the pool. The pool attendant was very quick to wipe a couple of sunbeds dry for us, although with little sun we only sat by the pool for a short while. The following morning as we were checking out after breakfast we saw some families with children making full use of the large pool area. Our room was on two levels, with the actual bed itself on a mezzanine. Downstairs we had a wardrobe, another couple of beds, table and chairs and bathroom. The grounds within which this is set in, is very pleasant, with small olive groves. We had an evening meal, sat outside under a lovely arbour. The waiter was friendly, efficient, explaining different dishes and wines and our food was lovely. We only stopped here the one night as we were travelling around the area, but worth the one night stop f you are exploring the wineries.
Cons: Lighting could've been better in the room.
Pros: We really like our stay at Borgata Baldassa friendly staff and cleanliness, wifi service , breathtaking views

Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and a library. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: B&B Don Diego is an amazing apartment at a walking distance from the centre of Linguaglossa, and very close to a beautiful park Villa dei Vespri Siciliani. The facilities were clean and provided with everything you may need, including a computer and food for breakfast. Marco was very nice and ready to help.
Cons: Some days Internet didn't work all the time, but it wasn't a big concern for me and I didn't complain; I'm sure that Marco would have fixed it if I had asked him to. The check out time was 10 am, which was fine to me but other people may not like it.
Pros: Host very generous person. Picked me up from train station and dropped me back.
Pros: Was a great stay and convenient location for our need
Cons: Not the right amount of towels for 2 people
Pros: Super clean, he even waited till 10.30pm because our flight was late
Pros: Owner picked up us from the train station; also giving us some pointers on a suggested tour guide
Cons: WIFI was poor Bed not so comfortable Location is a headache...unless driving or having a taxi, there are no other means to get out of the area
