Very central for Canterbury and just £6 for 24 hr parking from hotel.
Bit tired however staff were great and location very central.
The price and the proximity to the town centre, cathedral, museum etc.
All members of staff were very helpful and accommodating.
I feel as though the pictures and website gave a much better impression of the hotel, and weren’t true to life. The double room was really, really small, and quite dingy. The shower room was very small also. However I cannot complain about the cleanliness as everything was spotless. The extractor fan in the shower room was ridiculously loud, and the toilet flushed like an aeroplane toilet which was quite weird. However the bed was very comfortable, and extra pillows were provided. I think overall I feel a bit cheated as I didn’t feel like the place we stayed was the same as what it is portrayed as online! This place would be okay for someone alone on business, not for a couple wanting a nice weekend away.
Reasonable place for price
The breakfast was ok but we were missing something cooked, as it keeps you fuller for longer. The tea and coffee was nice and the staff polite and helpful. Comfortable beds and servicable bathroom. Not a bad choice for Canterbury.
Unfortunately there was quite a lot of street noise in the morning so perhaps ask for a room on the second floor, or in the back. They also had some problems with creditcard payments, but it was not a big deal
