Cons: The hotel is showing its age - plumbing in the bathroom was faulty, tiles coming away from wall, brown (rust) stains evident. Towels long past their disposal due date. The owners need to invest in their property if they want to compete at this level.

Pros: The pool & buffet breakfast were amazing! It was a chilly day in Buenos Aires so the indoor heated pool was very nice and I definitely put that to use. It is modern and clean and I enjoyed the cabanas and complimentary fresh juice. The view from the pool deck is outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast. They offered a wide assortment. Best breakfast I have had during my stay in Argentina. The rooms are large and the beds are large and comfortable. I slept very well. I enjoyed the spa tubs and the bathrooms are very chic! Only issue was the faucet...a little quirky at times but nothing major to complain about. I enjoyed the hardwood flooring and felt very safe in my hotel room.

The breakfast was great the first day, however by the 5th day I was craving something else! Good selection of food, the scrambled eggs were runny. It's free so these are minor complaints. The hotel is right near the "obelisk." It's centrally located which makes it ideal. Quick cab rides to all the barrios.

Cons: For a nice hotel like this one, they did not have hair dryers or converters. I would have been happy to pay for a converter if they offered one so it was a little annoying and a bit of a hassle to go out searching for one. I wasted about 45min of my time but eventually found one at a local market shop for very cheap.

Cons: The front desk tried to give us another room, more smaller as we announced them that we will arrive in the morning and we will neeed early check in. We stayed like 4-5 hours in the lobby after a 17 hours flight , and we emailed them twice. The rooms are big enough but the furniture and everything needs replacement . Good thing is that wehile we were there the works were in progress.

Pros: Location, location, location!!!! We booked here because it was close to the Colon Theatre, but never thought that the location was going to be perfect. Our room had a balcony with view to the obelisk. In fact, we celebrated New Year's Eve right on our balcony with a wonderful view of the fireworks. (Ask for a room on the 9th floor). We walked everywhere and took the "Subte" (subway) to farther places. There are many coffee shops and nice restaurants within walking distance.

Cons: The check out process yesterday was appalling. One person on the desk with a big, big queue. They were trying hard but unable to process efficiently because of connectivity issue. I needed a receipt but unable to get a printed one!! No sign of senior staff to support or any sense of urgency ( I had a plane to catch) Shame - as otherwise a comfortable stay.

Cons: Second time I've been at the hotel and again the cheki in and check out process is very very slowly. Im not sure if it is the staff or if it is the system itself. This is my only complain about the hotel and I leave this note as a suggestion for you to improve. but of course it is not something I would choose not staying there because of.

Pros: We liked the quirky little hotel with its full height central atrium and low key but charming staff. George checked us in and gave us a lovely room on the top floor. it's not huge but is the only room we've ever been in where the bathroom is accessible from both sides of the bed. it's behind the headboard and you can access it from either side. Comfy bed with hotel grade sheets. The hotel was very clean and mostly quiet (we've been in some VERY NOISY places with all night party music but thankfully not here)! it's very close to the San Telmo market and antique shops. We swam in the rooftop pool with a complementary glass of chilled white wine. Heaven. The breakfast choices were substantial and Gaby and Fabriana brought us some lovely fruit, yoghurt and other dishes. Good coffee just kept on coming. Gabriel gave us a smooth checkout and ensured we were happy with our stay. Strongly recommended. Hotels are much better value than apartments in Argentina. And much cleaner.

Cons: We had a wonderful stay at this place but honestly we did not like the bathroom facilities much. There is absolutely no space to place anything, no counter, no shelf. The sinks are very modern but there should be side shelfs to put your necessaire bag. Also no hooks for your hand towels, and the shower leaked big time through the floor.

Cons: The top floor is only accessed by stairs so if you have big cases it could be slightly awkward. We didn't so no problem. The automatic blind system was very noisy but worked without hitch.

Pros: Great location- easy walking distance/short taxi ride to some of BA’s highlights such as Teatro Colon and the Decorative Arts museum. Only a short distance to AEP airport. A 300m walk to very nice cafe, Petit Colon. We had an Executive suite which was well worth the extra pesos - capacious, comfortable with a small kitchenette. There is a 24 hour supermarket directly opposite and it is easy to locate from elsewhere in the city as it is very close to the Obelisco. Security at the hotel reception/entry was tight and effective.

Pros: Location was great. Excellent breakfast - guests very busy first thing in the morning with guests getting in early before day trips - after then it's much quieter. Bed extremely comfortable. Very quiet even though we were facing the main street. Very polite, helpful and friendly staff. Nice rooftop pool area and gym. Our stay here exceeded our expectations for the price. If you're looking sumptuous, luxurious hotel this is not it, however, if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet centrally located hotel at incredibly good value, we would recommend here. I would like to thank German and Leandro on the front desk for their initial warm welcome and advice.

A 300m walk to very nice cafe, Petit Colon. We had an Executive suite which was well worth the extra pesos - capacious, comfortable with a small kitchenette. There is a 24 hour supermarket directly opposite and it is easy to locate from elsewhere in the city as it is very close to the Obelisco. Security at the hotel reception/entry was tight and effective.
Cons: The plumbing and toilet facilities were temperamental but worked well enough in the end! Breakfast in the dining room was limited, but we did have two very nice evening meals in the hotel restaurant- food was tasty, well presented and the staff very friendly.

Pros: Location was excellent and the room was good but a little tired and a number of things needed to be repaired. Breakfast was OK without being great, at times there were a lot f people there and it was cramped for space and lacked selections.
Cons: There were various things in the room that really needed to be repaired and though we advised the establishment via their form, nothing was done. Generally the room was a bit "tired" but it was adequate and reasonable for the cost. The swimming pool was nowhere near as big or as good as depicted in the photo.

Pros: Location was great. Excellent breakfast - guests very busy first thing in the morning with guests getting in early before day trips - after then it's much quieter. Bed extremely comfortable. Very quiet even though we were facing the main street. Very polite, helpful and friendly staff. Nice rooftop pool area and gym. Our stay here exceeded our expectations for the price. If you're looking sumptuous, luxurious hotel this is not it, however, if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet centrally located hotel at incredibly good value, we would recommend here. I would like to thank German and Leandro on the front desk for their initial warm welcome and advice.
Cons: Would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room (205). Lifts can be a bit slow. These are very minor points however, it didn't spoil our stay, but worth pointing out for other potential guests.

It is very close to Obelisco, Teatro Colon, Teatro Cervantes, Florida street, Galerias Pacifico, theatres on Corrientes Avenue, the list is big of all what it is at a walking distance. Recoleta is also close, a longer nice walk or by bus or taxi, few minutes. Public transportation, Subway, Supermarket, convenience stores, restaurants and bars, all handy. Excellent for shopping, many nice stores beside the ones in the Shopping Mall. I didn't see other facilities except for a conference room downstairs. The room has soundproof windows, I didn't hear anything from the street so all was good.

Pros: We have travelled a fair bit and its the first hotel that have a policie no outside food or drinks allowed. (Acceptable if the hotel as a restaurant, but ut was not the case) We soon realized, on Christmas eve, all restaurant booked with reservation so we opted to buy a pizza and go back to the room. Well to our suprise the night clerk was very rude and obnoxious in refusing us to bring the pizza to the room. It was quite disappointing. We sat on the curb and enjoyed a slice and then gave it to people on the street. All to say , had we known that ahead we would not have rented this place. Very old, dated and cleanliness is less then desirable. Mildew in bathroom, ac was not cooling the place let alone we requested a second key so we could keep the unit on while away, and that was also an issue and a drama to get the key. All to say there is lots of hotel in BA and this is not one we would recommend.

For some reason at payment they only give 58 pesos to the US dollar, which is far below all other rates given throughout the city. Should be a good 3 * maximum not 4* as it’s far below this even to Argentina standards. Use if you want a central hotel just to sleep otherwise it’s ok only just.

Pros: We arrived really exhausted - flying from Israel - but the room was very pleasant and the area was very lovely especially on Thursday. The A/C was great ... there was nice window for fresh air .... They allow us to take coffee to the room around 06:30 - before the 7 am breakfast started. The breakfast was very lovely. Very near - there is simple but very lovely restaurant La-Pettit (?) - nice soup and vegetarian pie - plus tango dances on Saturday(?)

Cons: There were no towels in my room and when I called reception to have some set up no one picked up. I had to go downstairs to ask for them and they can only give me gym towels. It was not possible for me to get an iron either which is a problem for business traveler

Cons: Where do I start? Failure on providing promised facility + Give guest wrong room + Dirty filthy room + Attempt to overcharge guest. The hotel needs some serious proper hotel management. First I booked this place for its parking, when we arrived the staff told us our car is too big to fit in (we have a small city car), and we have to pay for it. We were also advised stones and cracks were often thrown to the parking. Upon checkin, we payed with credit card, finding we were overcharged. First the staff said the number looked different due to different exchange rate. ??? Hello, that was 12 dollars difference, what on earth rate do you use? We then were told it was the city tax, after arguing they returned us the overcharged part. We then appointed to a different room than we booked. After changing room, our new room smelled like alcohol, and HAIR, hair on our bed under the blanket(errrr!!). We just dozed off with our jackets on, as we were so tired after 10 hrs driving.

Cons: On our arrival, the staff had problem figuring out our reservation, the 2 clerks barely spoke English, luckily my wife speaks a little Spanish. There are about 10 steps from the front door to the reception desk with no ramp or bellboy. Difficult to manage with suitcases The room and bath room were clean but not practical and certainly not the standard of a 4 stars hotel, we tried to change but could not. The first night we had to ask 3 times to get extra pillows. Calling housekeeping or trying to reach the front desk was useless; nobody ever answered
