Cons: - Only negative is the internet. Wifi signal is weak and keeps disconnecting. In my case I was forced to connect via cable (to a far socket, as the close ones were damaged). That's the only negative for this hotel. everything else is perfect.

Personable, attentive, pleasant & professional. Hotel may be older but still a grand experience . Fresh flowers in room, tea kettle in room along with robes & slippers. Wine store IN Hotel. Breakfast buffet was excellent (included mimosa's/cava!). Hotel restaurant so good, had dinner at Hotel several times. (the "warm" salad was fantastic). Lobby decor & ambiance are beautiful, you definitely feel like you've 'arrived' with the Doorman & Concierge staff at your service. Hotel smells so so good!! Health club opens early & steam/sauna were great way to start & finish the day. Beautiful stay Beautiful Hotel. We will be back!

Cons: Hotel Health club a wee bit 'tired' in spots & men's sauna not hot enough (one of two heating elements has been out of order for months, according to a few reg gym club members). We had requested tea packets to be sent up to room (hadn't been done earlier in day when room was made up) one eve but that didn't happen. Really minute details & complaints on my part though I must say.

It is modern and clean and I enjoyed the cabanas and complimentary fresh juice. The view from the pool deck is outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast. They offered a wide assortment. Best breakfast I have had during my stay in Argentina. The rooms are large and the beds are large and comfortable. I slept very well. I enjoyed the spa tubs and the bathrooms are very chic! Only issue was the faucet...a little quirky at times but nothing major to complain about. I enjoyed the hardwood flooring and felt very safe in my hotel room.

Cons: I chose this hotel because it had a swimming pool. We like a swim before breakfast, and also after a days sightseeing. The pool was closed on the day we arrived, as it had rained in the morning. On the days it didn't rain it didn't open until 10am, so no good for a morning swim. When we were finally there when it was open we went in, but decided not to swim as the water looked very cloudy, and there was dirt sitting on the bottom of the pool.

There is also a smaller deck on the top floor to check out. Breakfast was excellent with an extra large selection. Also, the rooms had thick, noise-deadening curtains, which really helped to reduce traffic noise. A hotel with numerous thoughtful touches.

A/c doesn't work well so room was too hot even though it was cool outside. There is no rooftop bar or pool open in this season, so it is false advertising. This is a 2 star hotel, not a 4 star as advertised by your website. There is no drive up for taxi and no bellhop.

Cons: The bathroom appliances were a bit uncomfortable to use because the bathroom was small. Also, the shower head broke. The light system wasn't too intuitive, it's a panel that control different things, and I never really bothered to learn how to use it properly

Cons: On checking out they forgot to give me a package that they had kept for me but then it was five in the morning and I forgot to ask! Just too bad a note did not show up on my checking out! My fault as it was a different staff member than when the package was handed over the morning before. I had been at a tango show and it was 1:00 A.M. in the morning and forgot to ask for the package!

Pros: This place is impressive. The building is beautiful and just walking through the common areas is already a good experience. The room is large and even better than they look in the photos. The jacuzzi is very big and works very well. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap on big flasks, which is also nice! The bed is very comfortable, and our room had a beautiful view of the patio. The neighborhood is also amazing. San Telmo is very cozy, with very good restaurants nearby. For example, La Puerta Roja is just nearby and has very good draft beer and food for a very reasonable price (actually really cheap for lunch for the quality of the food you get). The staff is very helpful and woke us at 2:45 in the morning as per our request to get to the airport in time for our 5am flight. This was a serious highlight for our trip and I could say this is the best hotel I've ever stayed. If you're coming to Buenos Aires, spend a night at this hotel, it'll be worth your while.

The breakfast room is a trendy "deli" which offers decent food all day long. Staff were extremely helpful and efficient - organizing transfers, recommending and booking a show fir us.

Pros: This property has 24 hr Receptionist on duty. The staff on reception and in general were very helpful and pleasant and helped us with any queries we had. The property is in a good central location for exploring the city, the bedrooms are in the back of the building so nice and quiet at night. Breakfast was served in a cafe at the front of the property and had very good choices. I highly recommend this property and staff.

They also held our six pieces of luggage when we checked out for hours until it was time to head to the airport. Check out time is at noon which is rare anywhere. The deli attached to the hotel has a good breakfast option, not included in hotel charge though. The area of San Telmo is a great location, charming and within walking distance of major attractions and points of interest.

Cons: We can't comment on the breakfast, but it was expensive to get it through booking (since we wouldn't use it our second day as we left by 3am) and it was about 300 pesos per person to get it, which was a bit expensive. The jacuzzi in our room had not been turned on for a while, maybe, and it expelled some small bits of what looked like water pipe fungi when we turned it on for the first time. This didn't ruin our experience, though, we just emptied it and filled it over again and had a delicious warm bath.

Cons: Lack of natural lighting in the room & limited possibility to have fresh air in the room (only one small window close to the entrance door). The room, although clean, already shows some ageing and needs some details fixing of bathroom appliances. Not enough power points (especially since on is in the wardrobe ! ;-)) and non close to bed which nowadays is a problem.

Cons: I had no negative issue at all. Everything was satisfactory. We felt safe and comfortable at this property. The receptionists spoke good English. There was a very good Sunday market a few streets away. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. We visited a very good Tango Theatre by booking at Reception, they came and collected us and dropped us back and we had dinner at the Theatre also -Almacin Theatre.

There was an intense red light by a multi-plugger right under the desk that reflects directly on one's face when lying in bed. Moreover, the internet could be a bit faster.

Cons: The room (mine at least) was a bit cold for me even win the heater. Took a while for it to warm up. Some rooms can be smaller but good enough for one person. We had a great room that was good for two of us to be comfortable for many nights.

Given a well equipped room on the 10th floor at the front of the hotel. Hotel was in the theatre district. Restaurants/supermarket in close walking distance. However, you're paying primarily for the location. The photos on the web look much nicer than the rooms actually are. Carpets are dirty, drapes are old, windows open all the way on all floors so be careful if booking with children (think opposite of Las Vegas windows). The staff is friendly but speaks very little English, and the wifi is very spotty on the upper floors. No wifi at some parts of the day and in some parts of the hotel. The bathroom was clean, but if you're looking for a very nice hotel in this area you're going to have to pay more. This is a "value" hotel for this neighborhood. It does provide a great view of the obelisk, however.
