Cons: Service - 45' at the bar without the barman (he was smoking somewhere and reeked of cigarette smoke when he came in) which means the waiters from the restaurant also have to take care of the bar. At breakfast, ordered poached eggs and cancelled the order 20' later - no eggs in sight!

It is modern and clean and I enjoyed the cabanas and complimentary fresh juice. The view from the pool deck is outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast. They offered a wide assortment. Best breakfast I have had during my stay in Argentina. The rooms are large and the beds are large and comfortable. I slept very well. I enjoyed the spa tubs and the bathrooms are very chic! Only issue was the faucet...a little quirky at times but nothing major to complain about. I enjoyed the hardwood flooring and felt very safe in my hotel room.

Cons: For a nice hotel like this one, they did not have hair dryers or converters. I would have been happy to pay for a converter if they offered one so it was a little annoying and a bit of a hassle to go out searching for one. I wasted about 45min of my time but eventually found one at a local market shop for very cheap.

Pros: Excellent located in Buenos Aires' Diagonal Norte (almost cornering 9 de Julio), this hotel features beautiful views to the obelisk (in a superior double corner room). Obviously restaurants, theatres, museums, subway stations, etc are at stone throw distance. Hotel is clean, convenient and gym, although small, has all your needs. Staff is available 24hrs and always able to assist you.
Cons: Although my good review on Staff, sometimes they could smile a bit more ;O). The doorman is another thing - he sees you coming in and doesn't bother to open the door nor even to answer to your 'good day greetings.

The view over the Av 9 de Julio is, of course, panoramic. I highly recommend splurging on a balcony room, as it makes you feel like you're looking out over in the nerve center of the city. There is also a smaller deck on the top floor to check out. Breakfast was excellent with an extra large selection. Also, the rooms had thick, noise-deadening curtains, which really helped to reduce traffic noise. A hotel with numerous thoughtful touches.

Very simple and not up to standards offering a breakfast buffet for 15usd. It should have more options of cheeses, cold cuts etc.Only 2 warm options, no omelettes, fried eggs , pancakes etc. The charge for this breakfast should be no more then 8usd , then it would be a good balance. Further more the stay was good.

Cons: Some back ground info: Argentina has two rates for currency exchange, which are buying rate and selling rate. The buying rate is normally 10% more than the buying rate. The hotel used the USD buying exchange rate, instead of the selling rate ( it is about the bank rate Visa card uses) to convert my room rate in USD to its local currency, which was about 10% more than what I should pay, and they refused to take my payment in USD when I asked for the option. It was simple a scam, since I was not buying USD from them, why used this rate?! I stayed other hotels in Argentina. This is the only one did this. Disappointing.

Cons: On checking out they forgot to give me a package that they had kept for me but then it was five in the morning and I forgot to ask! Just too bad a note did not show up on my checking out! My fault as it was a different staff member than when the package was handed over the morning before. I had been at a tango show and it was 1:00 A.M. in the morning and forgot to ask for the package!

Pros: This place is impressive. The building is beautiful and just walking through the common areas is already a good experience. The room is large and even better than they look in the photos. The jacuzzi is very big and works very well. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap on big flasks, which is also nice! The bed is very comfortable, and our room had a beautiful view of the patio. The neighborhood is also amazing. San Telmo is very cozy, with very good restaurants nearby. For example, La Puerta Roja is just nearby and has very good draft beer and food for a very reasonable price (actually really cheap for lunch for the quality of the food you get). The staff is very helpful and woke us at 2:45 in the morning as per our request to get to the airport in time for our 5am flight. This was a serious highlight for our trip and I could say this is the best hotel I've ever stayed. If you're coming to Buenos Aires, spend a night at this hotel, it'll be worth your while.

The property is in a good central location for exploring the city, the bedrooms are in the back of the building so nice and quiet at night. Breakfast was served in a cafe at the front of the property and had very good choices. I highly recommend this property and staff.

Cons: We can't comment on the breakfast, but it was expensive to get it through booking (since we wouldn't use it our second day as we left by 3am) and it was about 300 pesos per person to get it, which was a bit expensive. The jacuzzi in our room had not been turned on for a while, maybe, and it expelled some small bits of what looked like water pipe fungi when we turned it on for the first time. This didn't ruin our experience, though, we just emptied it and filled it over again and had a delicious warm bath.

The room, although clean, already shows some ageing and needs some details fixing of bathroom appliances. Cons: I had no negative issue at all. Everything was satisfactory. We felt safe and comfortable at this property. The receptionists spoke good English. There was a very good Sunday market a few streets away. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. We visited a very good Tango Theatre by booking at Reception, they came and collected us and dropped us back and we had dinner at the Theatre also -Almacin Theatre.

Cons: I've been at many NH hotels in Europe but this was a disappointment. The room was cold because the window could not close properly. The old wooden parquet near the bathroom was sharp and my husband hurt his feet while walking barefoot. The bed sheets were old from washing with unwashable stains and old towels had become grey from washing and needs to be replaced soon. The room and hotel had a bad smell. No kettle in the room. No anything that you'd expect from a 4*hotel. We didn't have time to have drama and decided not to complain as we arrived late and for one night only but if you don't want to spoil your holiday you should know that.

The carpets were dirty and gross and the surfaces of all the tables were greasy, as well as the remote for the TV. The bathroom was extremely small, the wifi barely worked, and it wasn't located in the best part of town.

Cons: The bed sheets were not very clean. We requested for additonal blanket but the blanket was teared and it was not clean. The bathrrom sink was too small. It is very complicated to wash your hands. Breakfast was full of carbohydrate. The lift in the hotel was like a night mare. You cant take your self thinking about; when will you fall down with the lift while you are moving up or down.

Pros: The hotel was acceptable, breakfast was good. The beds were not the most comfortable but acceptable. the views from the façade of the Hotel was good, but our stay in the other room was not too good no view. The keeping of luggage whilst away to Iguazu was a very good gesture from the Hotel.

Pros: The location near the obelisk is great for those wanting to walk around and see the tourist attractions, you're right in the heart of the city. However, you're paying primarily for the location. The photos on the web look much nicer than the rooms actually are. Carpets are dirty, drapes are old, windows open all the way on all floors so be careful if booking with children (think opposite of Las Vegas windows). The staff is friendly but speaks very little English, and the wifi is very spotty on the upper floors. No wifi at some parts of the day and in some parts of the hotel. The bathroom was clean, but if you're looking for a very nice hotel in this area you're going to have to pay more. This is a "value" hotel for this neighborhood. It does provide a great view of the obelisk, however.

Cons: we deferred our stay but was not advised to book in advance for our return stay. on arrival for a further nights stay we were charged double the amount compared to our 2 night stay. if advised that the pricing could change we would have surely booked in advance.

Cons: The hotel seems a little rundown - crumbled plaster in the hallway, for example. The WiFi in the rooms doesn't work so we had to keep going down to reception.

Cons: First I did not like that there was no one to help us with our luggage at the door. Second the rooms are too small no space to walk around. Third the Wifi in the rooms is extremely awful was not able to do any work on my laptop. The only place there is a better Wifi connection is in the lobby. The only staff that was very helpful too us was Silvio at the reception desk is too bad that he works the night shift.
