Cons - There are no real pictures of the Compact room, so had to face the disappointment after getting into the room. No real complaints though for a solo traveller. The state of the room, especially the bathroom, could do with some maintenance. It seems it's not an isolated incident but quite common as posted by other travellers. Pros (+) The location was great.
Cons (-) Everything was just about ok but I wouldn't advise using the "spa"as it's in serious need of a revamp. I also didn't appreciate someone elses' contact lens floating around in my bath. Several Christmas parties and 2 weddings were on when we stayed and the staff did try to give us quiet rooms and i don't blame them for the couple having a screaming argument outside our bedroom.

Pros (+) Great location, room wasn't ready but we were given complimentary drinks as an apology which was welcomed. Room small but comfortable and had everything we needed. There were lots of Christmas parties and we were advised at time of check in but we were put on 3rd floor and didn't hear a thing.
Cons (-) Breakfast was average. Twice housekeeping knocked on our door and gave no time before coming in but luckily were were not in a compromising state! Drinks in the bar very expensive (2 double rum & miser £27!!!!) so suggest going out instead.

Pros (+) Great location.
Cons (-) Real coffee in the room would be great, not instant. Ask for a room away from Hen Parties and music.
