Terrible Experience all around
I called ahead and requested a second floor room with a microwave, upon check in they gave me a 4th floor room with no microwave and a broken AC. The room was very hot. The receptionist Gleddy was very rude and did not have any customer service skills what so ever. All of the luggage carts were being used so I had to lug all my bags up to the top floor while trying to get my 3 kids settled. The shower kept turning on and off while trying to shower. After paying $450 for 2 nights we decided to stay as we were refused a full refund. The tower restaurant was a joke. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger for $10 and got a greasy patty w/cheese and bread. No mushrooms and no toppings. When I expressed concern, I was told that he was new and didn't know where anything else was. I asked for a manager and was told he was the only one there. Then the slides were constantly closed due to "not enough staff" and the kiddy pool was closed for 2 days. I will never go back to this place and I have told everyone I know about my experience to save them the trouble too.
Nice big windows to see outside, the price wasn't too bad. Marissa at the front desk was very helpful.
The indoor pool and water park were shut down for the weekend. Staff member told me the 'lady who makes breakfast up and quit on us so there's no breakfast today, sorry.' Beds weren't very comfortable. It seemed like they were short staffed and everyone seemed very frazzled.
They closed the waterpark the day before we arrived and they never called to notify us. So we traveled all the way there and then they told us. We moved down the road to splash country waterpark. So glad we did!!
The room did not have any towels except for one which was damp. We called the front desk to get towels and we never received them. Took over an hour to check in then are rooms were not ready for our 5 check in time. The kids got flea bites and we found a live flea on the bathroom counter even though we requested a no pet room. The staff was rude and not helpful. I will NEVER stay again. We asked for a complete refund which took us four times calling before we could speak to a manager.
Everything was good. Expect we did not get free breakfast as the website indicated. We ate out.
