Pros (+) Greeted with mild jest by college-age desk clerk, which nicely improved my weariness after traveling all day. HE advised me well about nearby restaurants, and I ate well with efficient service as a result. Did not see anyone at Travelodge from then on.

Pros (+) Travel-lodge was convenient to where I needed to be in Bloomington. It was inexpensive. The elevated king-sized bed was comfortable. It TV was large enough, and easy to master the controls. Check-in staff was nice (but inexperienced).
Cons (-) The hotel needed a makeover, paint-job, updating; especially check-in, lobby, hallways. Bathroom was small; shower was tiny, stand-up only. Room temperature was difficult to regulate. Not enough electrical outlets & not conveniently placed. Check-out staff was rude.
