9,0 Excellent
Pros: A charming hostess with a delightful home and family. The facilities were tasteful and very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and a joy to eat. I loved staying with Armelee and would love to go back one day.
Cons: My trip was too short I would have liked to stay longer and see more of the Chateau's and countryside.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location in the heart of the ancient area. Armelle is very illuminating, the hotel is clean, the breakfast is served with great attention to details and leaves a quality home feeling.
Cons: The upstairs room has a very low entrance and the lock does not always work properly.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Our charming hostess Armelle provided information and an excellent breakfast. Made us feel very welcome in her home. Located right across from the cathedral, overnight parking is free. Our comfortable room with modern bath was towards the back, church bells were too faint to bother us. Blois is also wonderful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with parking opposite. Rooms lovely, breakfast room and table exceptional. Owner was very hospitable, helpful with restaurant reservation, delightful stay.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A period house whose exterior belies a stylish interior. A separate breakfast room and visitor lounge overlooks the Cathedral and the Loire can be seen in the middle distance. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, fresh pastries, cereals, cheese and hams. The location is excellent, a steep walk between old houses brings you straight into the central area with the main shopping area and the bars and restaurants.
Cons: No complaints about this property, the Cathedral is a great landmark so you will always find your way home. Needs a lick of paint on the outside shutters etc, to give a better first impression.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Parking is tricky and needs some thought.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The house is beautifully decorated and finished. It is also the home of our hosts. We enjoyed a comfortable night and fantastic breakfast - with views over towards Blois bridge and the medieval centre. Highly recommend.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location is very nice.near to the old town
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location. Nice host. Good view. Very clean. Historical atmosphere at the apartment.
Cons: All good.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The apartment breathes history! You are in the middle of everything, two steps from the castle. The amenities are modern and you have everything you need for you stay, including a washing machine. A covered paid parking aroung the corner.
Cons: It's clearly mentioned on the website, but there's no lift so the apartment isn't ok fot those with reduced mobility.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, unit has dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and iron
Cons: Need to be aware of very steep spiral staircase access, bit of local noise from the street at night, but would definitely stay again.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, excellent kitchen and equipment.
Cons: The stairs were steep and narrow with no railing There was no provision to escape in case of fire.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It's a really amazing and beautiful apartment originally built in the 15th century, Bruno told us ( I hope I'm correct with this information?:), located in the centre of Blois. If we ever come back to Blois, we surely come back here!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay here in Blois! The apartment was quaint and cosy and in a beautiful 15th century building. The apartment was spacious, really warm with excellent radiators you could adjust, had a fantastic kitchen and a lovely bathroom. It also had a separate washing machine and dryer which was amazing. It was also easy to check in as we collected the keys from another person in the building and were shown to our apartment and how everything worked. It was a fantastic apartment to come home to everyday after exploring the Loire Valley. Very comfortable and felt at home. There are also lots of restaurants close by and the centre of Blois within a 5 minute walk.
Cons: There was a little bit of noise from the street ourside on a couple of nights but not enough to worry us much. For people with mobility issues, the historic spiral staircase might cause problems but as we’re young and fit, it was fine.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was superb, right below the chateau. The suite is in a very old building that has been transformed into a magnificent home that still shows the age of the building but with modern touches.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and comfortable space like home.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best places we have ever stayed at! Beautiful and historic. Close to all the sites.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The reception ( eventually!) Very nice helpful Bruno. Lovely and warm. Great location apart from car being a way off so problem if you forget anything. Not much you can do about this so not a complaint just an observation
Cons: The very steep winding stairs. Too many different e mails with information. Got confusing hence missed the important one giving information about access. Had to wait about 45 mins before got info. Parking to unload not very good as you block the road so limited time.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: What a pleasant surprise! A modern, spacious, clean appartement, decorated with taste and care, inside a -maybe- medieval building at the heart of old town! A bottle of wine was expecting us! We were sad that we had booked it just for one day! We' ll be back...
6,8 Good
Pros: Expresso machine netbook with good Internet connection location
8,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful place for a family or a group of friends. Great location, very comfortable and nicely equipped. Not suitable for walking impaired because of stairs.
7,7 Good
Pros: Don't judge it from the outside. It's right down town, well priced, and one of the best self catering apartments we've stayed in.
Cons: Stairs. But it is France.

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was an outstanding value with wonderful selections. We would stay again
5,3 Okay
Pros: The friendly personnel
Cons: Some pieces of furniture and instalations were not in a good shape
5,7 Okay
Pros: Hotel is part of a huge chain of hotels, similar to the travelodge. Arrived after reception was closed and a lady came to greet us. There is an automatic key machine for out of hours arrivals also. easy to find, good access to motorway.About 5 minutes from the town.
Cons: Room was clean if a little out of date, the bathroom was similar to those on the overnight ferries - basic. No a/c, and as we were on ground floor we couldn't leave window open. Ok for an overnight stoppover.
6,7 Good
Pros: Comfortable beds, small but adequate clean bathroom, sound proofed room.
6,7 Good
Pros: good clean budget hotel within easy travelling distance to the town centre
6,4 Good
Pros:
Cons: Mix up with Balladins hotels in Blois. Not clear at all
4,0 Okay
Pros: No traffic noise. Price was reasonable, as it is a "modular" budget hotel.
Cons: Double room reeked of smoke - even the "clean" sheets. We requested both rooms as "non-smoking" but the double room definitely was a very polluted "smoking" room. Better signs are needed, as this hotel had the same signs as another "Balladins" hotel nearby., which was confusing for a foreign tourist. You cannot see the "Blois Nord Villebarou" markings on your hotel.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all, the hotel was dreadful. Blois, on the other hand is a lovely town and we will certainly visit again, only stopping at a different hotel
Cons: Did not like room with a flimsy (broken) plastic folding door screening the WC, (You certainly get to know travelling companions!) the staff (lone person), the fact that the reception closed at approx. 20:00, I could go on.
4,8 Okay
Pros:
Cons: We cant find the address from gps. We have to make several rounds. And they finished at 18o'clock, when we arrived at the hotel at mid night, we have to manage all the things ourselves
5,2 Okay
Pros: free parking, the location is easy to find by car, very quite
Cons: Bathrooms don't have a real door. In our bathroom there was also a problem with a tap (they knew the problem, but they give us that room alike). After complaining they changed our room and the problem was solved.

With a stay at Brit Hotel Blois - Le Préma in Blois, you'll be in the business district, within a 10-minute drive of Chateau de Blois and Le Carroir. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Blois? This hotel has facilities measuring 377 square feet (35 square meters), including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was superb, easily better than the Holiday Inn I stayed in the next night. The fruit was fresh, well chosen, ripe and tasty. The range of meats and cheese to choose from was lovely. The staff were smiley and welcoming. The air conditioning was excellent - important on a day that reached 41C! The bed was really comfortable, as good as that in Le Relais Saint Michel two nights before, as well as the Mercur Mont Michel the previous night.
Cons: Finding the hotel was not easy, but that's because no roundabouts in Blois seem to say "Centre Ville" on them to create a sense of direction. However, it has a massive gate guarding the car park in front of the hotel but of course an underground private parking would be more secure. It would be nice to have some toast bread, not just baguettes and an hour extra for breakfast would help holidaymakers a lot.
7,9 Good
Cons: At 8:00 AM in the morning they started to use a drill right next to our room and woke us up.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good location good parking nice room comfy bed relaxing
Cons: no resturant on the day we stayed

7,5 Good
Pros: Friendly feel to the hotel
Cons: The cat in the reception area
5,8 Okay
Pros: Family room was useful for us with 3 kids.
Cons: There is a restaurant under the hotel. There came the cooking smellings from the window of the room until late night.
7,9 Good
Pros: Staff were amazingly accommodating and the hotel restaurant and breakfast were great.
Cons: Room was dated.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The woman at the front desk was great! So nice and accommodating, we felt very welcome!
7,5 Good
Pros: Its location deserves a mention here - if you are interested in taking trips to the surrounding castles (Chambord, Chaumont, etc), it is very well placed. Also, the staff is really welcoming and every day there are fresh towels provided; the price is also convenient.
Cons: The room (6) is really noisy (one could very well hear the announcements in the train station, starting, roughly, with 5 am until 11 pm) and its windows face the ventilation of the restaurant below. The walls of the room need to be freshened up (too many marks of the previous visitors).

Pros: Not so much, but did sleep
Cons: Rather expensive for a hotel in France, compared to the quality : very basic sleeping place, no more. Not really good advertisement for Ibis/Accor group
5,8 Okay
Pros: Giant screen TV in room. Easy access good car park. Perfectly pleasant and comfortable but really was over-priced.
Cons: Breakfast was not included in the price unlike many other Ibis hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast bread was hard as a rock. No tea/coffee or kettle in room - but we anticipated what has become a bad habit in the hotel industry and brought our own.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: All of it. And Lola our boxer dog was very welcome .
Cons: The only thing, which is based on personal taste, is the mattress topper is just a little to thin compared to a proper mattress.

Pros: The bed was comfy and the area was fairly quiet. We ate in the restaurant and the staff were all pleasant and trying hard, Plenty of parking onsite.

3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Very good location.
Cons: Standard of our double room was much lower than on photos. The bed linen was stained. The wallpaper peells off the walls. Bathroom very old fashioned, mould and cracking paint on woodden windows. You can hear any noise comming from the street or the closest rooms/bathrooms.
6,3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly
Cons: The room was awful, wallpaper peeling, mould in the bathroom, tiny and smelly. Windows rotten and wouldn't open and no extractor fan, Dinning room and entrance very grand but tatty and threadbare carpets everywhere else. Very noisy, not just the traffic outside but the walls were so thin you could here everything in the room next door including the toilet.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here during a bike trip along the Loire River and it was perfect for us! Great location just on the other side of the bridge from the city center and surrounded by bars and bakeries and the like. Comfortable and clean room— fabulous shower and nice beds! The owner and his staff were all very kind and helpful— we were provided with a place to store our bikes and they filled our water bottles in the morning! The breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We found the property was perfectly quirky and it felt nice. Sometimes having old rustic looking rooms felt so much better. The rooms are very spacious and views are priceless and would be deserved such a 5 star When u book a 2 star then expectations are little to none as to the price you pay.. Yet the Le Pavillion exceeds little more to the imagination and hospitality is rather more to a 4 star. Most certainly will be back
9,0 Excellent
Pros: - It located on the river. The view from the ground floor restaurant is nice and relaxing. - The room is clean and maintenanced. The room is tiny but it is value for money. - They store your luggage by free of charge before the check-in time and after the ckeck-out time.
Cons: - This hotel does not have an elevator. You need to carry your luggage by climing up the stairs. - The location of the hotel is a bit far from the railway station. - The key of the room door looks broken. But if you understand how it works, it works with no problem.
7,9 Good
Pros: Nice to stay right by the river. Had own restaurant, good food. Found parking near by and free.
6,7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The heater was on and the room was freezing.
7,9 Good
Pros: We booked one family room just for one night for 5 people with breakfast. The hotel is close to the city center with nice view to the river and to the old bridge. There is a free parking place just about 200 m from the hotel building. We just had to walk over the bridge and we were at the city center with many restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfortable. There were 2 double beds and 1 single bed. The bed were good as well. The bathroom was clean as well. I think it was renewed just a couple of years before.
Cons: The check-in process was a bit too slow; the receptionist received a call; somebody was booking a room on the phone. When he finished the call; he served a coffee, a beer and a wine to customers (the hotel is also a bar/restaurant). He spoke just a limited English. The breakfast was the French type; one croissant and more baguettes mostly with sweets. The room did not really have a cupboard nor a desk; it would be difficult to stay more days (OK, the luggage could be put under the beds...) The breakfast is from 08:00 but when we entered around 08:05 it was not fully prepared. When we asked, all food appeared on their places :) Even with the mentioned "weaknesses" I would stay again (short stay).
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location. View to Loire river and old town. Good for one night stop.

The rooms are perfect for families and the extra fee of the parking (8€) is totally reasonable. Wifi works fine (for tablets of the kids). When we asked for a room with bathtub they helped us to get one when possible. I don't expect more from a hotel: professionalism and family business attitude.
Cons: Maybe more TV channels. But not important to me,

Pros: Location
Cons: Terrible untrained staff. A fly of stairs inside the room. Don’t be fooled by the 4 stars. This is a cheap hotel. don’t try the restaurant ( breakfast is ok but expensive). Food is so so and service awful. I was expecting much more from Mercure. I saw a lady dragging two large bags of towels through the bar, the main stair and the lobby. You will see waiters literally kicking chairs in place. I don’t blame them but they seemed to have zero training. Not staying at Mercure or Accor anymore.

Cons: Nothing to be said, if we had to nit pick, the TV didn't have many English channels !

Pros: Great location. Friendly and welcoming bilingual staff. Secure garage parking. Modern hotel with excellent restaurant. Nice bar area, gym and swimming pool. The air circulation system is quite loud and does not switch off until after 11pm. If you are a light sleeper ask for a quiet room.
