Loved the room deco an bed. Staff friendly. Entertainment brilliant. It just needs slightly up grade, carpets on stairs a little fraid. Wallpaper marked and torn off in places but overall, this didn't spoil anything. Going again in march. But different room booked. Some rooms are small but comfortable.
Could do with more younger clientele.
Good and service excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms excellent.
Just wish the chairs in the bar where more comfortable.
Staff were very pleasant not my usual type of hotel. I made the booking to meet up with a cousin for a catch up . Value for money most defiantly . Entertainment a bonus very 70' S when dine and dance was the thing . Not a criticism as it was very pleasant, guest were very relaxed. Food was basic but defiantly the best has been made of the ingredients used. Especially the lamb on the first evening.well done the Elgin .
Not everyone needs the inclusive drinks I personally would rather one glass of decent wine, than what was on offer . Also would of been happy to pay for that wine. Felt the staff should not assume everyone wants the inclusive bar. I didn't feel that there was anything of quality on offer to order and really didn't want to make a fuss. But even though this is defiantly a criticism the staff delivered the all inclusive part with a pleasant service. My sister and myself ended up drinking water. Would of liked to be able to purchase a descent coffee.
The staff was friendly and the meals was brilliant couldn't fault it.
It was a bit to north for us but can see how it could appeal to some people. The room was a bit small and was quite loud in the morning outside the room with housekeeping but he seemed very friendly to everyone he talked to.
Lovely room, lovely food, lovely staff
stay wasn't long enough
