It’s very central and architecturally beautiful - it was my sisters birthday and they made it really special for her, with a plate of chocolates and strawberries plus Happy Birthday! We had two suites which were massive and very comfy, thanks to everyone on reception
What’s not to like?!
We had one of the newer rooms, was beautifully decorated and spacious. Bed was comfortable and was big enough for 2 people. The Burlington has character for a city centre hotel which I love.
City centre location perfect for shopping, bedding & towels clean. Handy to the train station & within easy walking distance of Bullring Mailbox canal areas etc Were a mum& daughter £ the city felt fairly safe very busy Saturday
It’s old fashioned/tired
Lovely evening dinner, knowledgable catering staff. Nice room with character, as as the hotel in general.
Our particular breakfast member of staff was a little brusque but not an overall issue. Rest of staff were great.
My booking date was wrongly made by the hotel staff. I was very embarrassed when I have been told at my arrival that there were no room booked for me
Mistakes made by staff on the booking
