Staff was great, location was good.
Pool has been non-operational for last couple yearly visits.
It was fine
Nice !
Close to everything !
Dirty beds, bathrooms... Not worth the $$
I know this is a budget hotel but the beds were extremely dirty with HAIR everywhere. Same goes for the bathroom. I stayed at similar hotels before but never had a room this dirty. Cannot recommend this place.
Clean, quiet and affordable.
It is clean and Good.. One thing could have been there is refrigerator in the room..
Okay
All that we liked about this place was the location and staff. Near some snow grounds, near some markets and shopping, and relatively close to the main village walk. We had movie channels which was nice when getting ready. Okay for one night as we did, just passing through. The staff was nice and helpful and check out time was great at noon, with no extra charge.
The room itself was bad, it was nonsmoking but reeked of cigarettes, it was stuffy and smelled weird in the restroom. The room was bare and poorly kept. The bed was more like a stiff couch with a couple of thin blankets. No a/c or heat which made it very cold, wish we had an extra blanket. You can hear EVERYONE else in the building.
Amazing and accommodating staff!!
The lady at the front desk was so accommodating and understanding when we requested a refund for the night because we decided to head down the mountain instead. She gave us a full refund and gave us no trouble for the last minute change!
LOCATION WAS GREAT
PEOPLE WERE INCONSIDERATE OF OTHER GUEST. WALKING PAST OUR ROOM AT ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT AND MORNING BEING REALLY LOUD AND RUDE
I only stayed for one night as I was in Big Bear visiting friends. However, I have stayed at other Motel 6 before and enjoy them as I really only need a clean, comfortable, nicely priced place to clean up and sleep. This stay was quite pleasant and the desk staff were friendly and efficient. Will be using this chain again!
I want to say Thank you for being Pet Friendly.....So many travelers have pets these days.....our pets are like family to us, when we go on vacation they go on vacation with us. So thank you for making that possible.
It is cheap and has the necessary things to stay confortable.
very close to Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Affordable, given the area and time of year.
Convenient location. Easy to get to and close to stores.
Pretty clean room but it smelled like cigarettes and shower could' have been cleaned better.
During our stay I would say the customer service was really good, and the overall location of the hotel was great!!!!!
Old tv with no DVD player.
We liked the location and acceptance of our small dog.
I would recommend that there, at least, be a central location for a microwave oven. A small refrigerator in the room would also be welcomed.
Comfortable beds, clean room, bathroom fixtures looked relatively new, excellent internet price per night. Courteous staff. Check-out lady nicer than the check-in lady.
Although listed as a non-smoking room, it still smelled of smoke. From what I am told, you almost need to replace carpet, drapes and repaint the room to get rid of that prior smoking room smell. Before going to sleep we left the fan running and the window open for several hours, but that barely helped. If it weren't for the smoke smell, my ratings would all have been higher. But the nose-burning residual smoke smell does nothing to promote one's comfort if you are a non-smoker. Don't think it's a good idea to provide an ashtray, even if it does have the no smoking symbol printed on it. I considered asking for a different room, but when we returned from the timeshare where the rest of the family was staying it was very late.
Basic facilities but very clean and comfortable. Excellent choice for budget accomodation in Big Bear.
