Check-in was quick. Room was decent size with plenty of outlets and light options. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet, which made sleeping easy. Excellent location directly above metro station that allows for easy access to DC and the NOH. Excellent location if you need to be at the NIH. Plenty of restaurants that are in easy walking distance of hotel.

Pros (+) not much was available but room was comfortable, bed was cozy
Cons (-) restaurant could have been a bit more reasonable given the covid situation, Morton's, a few chopped up romaine salad leaves with a bit of dressing on the side, a$15 plus tax and time, OMG, 2 glasses of 5 OZS wine 43$ plus tax and tip. It's a no no for us

Pros (+) Bed is always very comfortable here and the staff is amazing. Location above the Red Line is a bonus. This allows me to come in from Philadelphia and not have to drive my vehicle.
Cons (-) Charging for bottled water is a little much. Maybe complimentary 6 oz bottles would fit the budget.

Pros (+) Convenient to the Metro and well priced. Good complimentary breakfast at Daily Grill as a Globalist. Very nice renovation - clean rooms, comfortable bed and pillows.
Cons (-) Staff/service - we arrived in the middle of the night and was provided very limited information. Housekeeping only seems to do one sweep, so our room never got made up when we left the room a little after noon. No loyalty gift or acknowledgement of status, nor any upgrade.

Cons (-) no complimentary coffee in lobby or coffee maker in room (these things seem kinda standard these days?) and there was no hotel guest rate for the parking garage (even though there are signs in the parking garage suggesting otherwise). seems if you're spending that much for a hotel and bethesda, you could get a little more for the money.

Pros (+) We got a great price on our room and the location made metro travel into D.C. very easy.
Cons (-) The current construction creates havoc for entering and exiting the hotel. It's noisy and woke us up in the morning. There was no AC in the common areas of the hotel (including the fitness center!) which made it somewhat uncomfortable.

Pros (+) Beautiful building. I spent some time photographing it. Efficient, helpful staff. Good location near Metro, for DC access, and nearby support facilities such as restaurants.
Cons (-) One major point for me: ugly, inconsistent lighting. The building's lighting was very mixed, and thoughtless--or at least it has grown to that. Perhaps it was designed well 20 years ago, but now it has a wide mix of lights, from florescent to LED, and, more importantly, a wide, jarring mix of color temperatures, that convey among other things, cheapness. Cons (-) When we pulled into the hotel it was a windy and snowy day.. I've stayed at this hotel before so I waited several minutes for the valet to come out.. Or at the very least a bellman to help me. Neither of which happened. Was told that I could park in the garage and then take the elevator up and out to hotel.
