The large balcony, the two pools and the ambiance of the complex.
The charge for pool towels. Yes, it was only 4 EUR a week but it seemed petty.
the price was cheap, but actually I got what I paid for. my experience was horrible!
The Sahara Sunset Club property had 4 star reviews so I figured that I got a great price for a 4 star resort. I arrived and had trouble locating the place to check in. The lobby looked dingy and didn't look like the lobby of a 4 star hotel. After the guy at the desk told me which hotel I would be staying at and told me that the best way to get was to put the address in google maps. I was shocked. I travelled all this way to get to your hotel and now you tell me to use googlemaps to get to my bed? I told him I didn't want to use googlemaps. He gave me a map and told me to put a street my to reach my destination. He also told me that there is no parking. I went to the street he told me and could not find the hotel. I never found the Royal Mirage or a sign. I turned around and around in my car and asked several people where the hotel was. No one, EVEN TAXI DRIVERS knew where it was. Finally, after an hour I met a woman who told me that she has been selling timeshares in the area for 17 years. She said she lives there. She said she never heard of the hotel. I was on the verge of tears and exhausted after an hour of driving around. I had a flight out the next day and thought that I would to back to the desk, check out and sleep in my car all night. I went back up the street to the checkin desk, fighting back the tears. There was a woman at the desk. I told her I wanted to leave because I couldn't find the Royal Mirage. She said when her colleague came back he would get in the car and drive me to the property. She said that it was a long walk and there was no parking where the Royal Mirage is so that I should leave the car and bring my bags and we go on foot. I was toooooo exhausted to get in my car and look for another place to stay. They took me through a luggage room and put me in a musty smelling room behind the desk. If you give people a map make sure the address exists. I slept in my clothes and got out of there.
Excellent Staff, always willing to help. Room service maids very efficient. Grounds and surrounding area very clean.
Cost of Gym & Indoor Pool
