Pros: Air conditioning was extremely noisy. Woke me up 5 times.

Cons: Test the AC for noise.

Pros: The room seemed to be clean and big. The staff with whom I interacted was very friendly.

Cons: The hotel is rather old. Some parts are need of maintenance or refurbishing (e.g., the corridors walls and the room walls themselves are full of mold stains the curtains are also moldy; the corridors carpet are smelly).

Pros: The large room, and good sized bathroom.

Cons: Some aspects of the hotel need better maintenance - for instance, A/C which is old and very noisy, bed-side lamp which do not stay in position as the spring element is old and does not hold. In general the hotel needs upgrading.

Pros: I love their breakfast. Many great options and delicious fruit!!! I love their fruit.

Cons: The swimming pool could be updated. The fitness room is very limited. But, hey you can go outside and be on a fresh air instead. So, no big deal for me.

Pros: Very comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Very good bed. Soundproof windows with nice view. Very good cafe da manha with excellent coffee.

Cons: Mattress was not good. Too soft. The passageways were not clean enough.

Cons: The room was not overly clean. The floor was sticky in spots and there was toothpaste stuck to the counters is one of the bathrooms.

Cons: So many bars around, allot of noise around! On side of hotel a building in construction, noise starts right at 7am!

Cons: The old is getting old and they are desperate for money . They want to charge the guest for visits more than 15min,lol Very desapointed .

Pros: very spacious!! the rooms are very big, the bed, there's plenty of space for bags, work desk, there's a nice closet.

Cons: everything is very old. but there's nice old and there's uncared for old. this hotel feels more like the latter. the bathtub was basically a call for accidents with many levels inside it... water took a looong time to heat up. mold in the bathroom ceiling. very few power outlets (in fact none free except in the bathroom, so you'll have to unplug the lamp by the bed side to charge your phone). power outlets were in the old Brazilian standard so you'll need adapters if your charger has 3 pins (US style 3 pins are fine in the lobby under the couches - yes, under). Wifi has terrible reception on the rooms but works fine in the lobby. very few staff and slow response times during carnival.
