Pros: Nice breakfasts; helpful and friendly owner. Great place to stopover before continuing on our eco/birding adventure down south.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is delicious! Most of the reason I go there.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, close to both ferry terminal and airport. Clean comfortable accommodation, added bonus of a jacuzzi and wonderful breakfast. Lovey staff.
Cons: Would have loved to have stayed longer

Pros: Everything up too the little puppy so full of happiness
Cons: Have no complains
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Belize City. I was nervous but when I got there I was greeted and checked in by Christina who works the property. Every morning Kathleen provided is with breakfast menu and served us hot breakfast each morning. While eating breakfast either the owner or manager came out to have breakfast with us. The customer service this facility provides was beyond my expectations I’ve never visited any country or hotel in the US and received the customer service I was provided on last week. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay I even walked the neighborhood and they called my taxi every morning once I provided my plans for the day! I’ll definitely be visiting them again at the Villa Boscardi! - Fred & Toya
Cons: N/a
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The owner was present and joined us for breakfast which we enjoyed. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was very good. We stayed overnight on our way to and from the airport, spending most of our time in San Pedro and Caye Caulker. This place is great if you plan to be around Belize City.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfasts! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Safe location. Good restaurant a block away. Very well kept and decorated property.
Cons: No easy access to cold beverages on the property or close by.
7,1 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was wonderful. Having the owner sit with us was a nice, personal touch.
Cons: The place was quaint but the water backed up in the tub and the physical location wasn't great. I guess that's indicative of Belize City. The online pictures led seekers to believe there was a pool but the "pool" was an actual jacuzzi.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff and owner was very nice and friendly
Cons: The neighborhood
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious and quick each day. They offered something different as well which was nice. There is not a ton to see in the area but there are a few dinning options around (Belamari, Chinese, others) and a grocery store. The facilities are perfect. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The pool in the back was great on the hot days. We will be back here if we get the chance!
Cons: Everything was great. I will add that we had some trouble getting a hot shower (water was lukewarm) but given how hot it was outside, this was not really a problem.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, specially the owner is amazing and location is perfect
Cons: Access to ice
D'Nest Inn - Belize City - Bedroom
8,7 Excellent (76 reviews)
R1 219+
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts! Comfortable, large room, delicious breakfast!
Cons: Not really an Inn, more like a BnB, which is fine, just needs to be clearly stated.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: As in Your Home ! Very Kind and professional Persons. They are linked with taxi driver, and other useful services
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet safe area, comfortable old world charming interior.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The property is full of character located in a quiet area. It is next to a river teaming with wildlife. The hosts were extremely hospitable. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and very good coffee.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location on a canal surrounded by flowers, birds & iguanas.
Cons: No hand towels, wash clothes, or shampoo, only bar soap & a bath towel.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was delicious. The bed was very comfortable. Cable and Netflix in the room was great. The room is large.
Cons: There was no hot water for the shower or at the sink. There are no restaurants nearby. They recommended one but it was 1.3 KM from the place and I told by locals when I tried walking there to be careful. I didn't have a map other than my phone and there were no street signs to follow anyway. I can't recommend this location for solo travelers.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Owners were very hospitable, informative and kind. Daily breakfast was very good and interesting with a Belizean twist.
Cons: Sub-standard room maintenance. Daily we had to inquire about receiving an additional face cloth. Room had been maintenance without replenishing toilet paper and had to ask a family member for a roll when noticed the dispenser was completely empty. The room was not maintenance at all the next to the last night of our stay. We had left out for the entire day and upon our evening return, the bed linen was not changed nor bed made up. Dirty towels used the morning of were still lying on the bath room floor. Owners were not on the premises the full day to secure our needs. We took our used towels down to ask a family member in exchange for fresh towels. We made our own beds. Air conditioner went out one of the last nights we spent there. Electrical units were out for 2 days. The furniture and floors of our room, room corridor and sitting area were extremely dusty. Hotel itself and garden grounds need serious interior and exterior updating, upgrading, and full maintenance upkeep.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location and the old style architecture and furnishings. We have stayed on past trips and will in the future.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The owners were really great and helpful
Cons: The surrounding
8,5 Excellent
Pros: They immediately made us feel at home and part of their family. Gaby and Oty were the best part of our stay! I wish we had more time to spend with them.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Best option for the airport
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Pool area, staff, proximity to the airport.
Cons: Nothing else of interest immediately surrounding the hotel.
7,5 Good
Pros: Pool and the restaurant are great
7,9 Good
Pros: There are not many places to choose from in Belize City. I only stayed there because I had an early morning flight and was coming from Guatemala. That said, I booked a hotel in the city for a little comfort my last night. But ate at the restaurant and ended up with food poisoning and was lucky to even make it on the flight the next day. The lady at the hotel pharmacy/general store was super kind and gave me the right treatment to help my stomach. Overall, it is very overpriced for what you get. But as said, it is one of the better options in town and the room was comfortable and big.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and great area.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing! Their were 8 people in our group and everyone received excellent service from the waitresses, front desk, and drivers. The restaurant was so convenient. Food was good and we ate several meals there. We would stay there again!
Cons: No.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great place for a layover, comfortable and cozy. Friendly staff. Very flexible, very professional ( we had to make a last minute change to the booking)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff are very professional. Poolside servers and bartender are exemplary,
Cons: We stay here every year and enjoy everything.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Service was a little slow in the bar and at the restaurant.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice atmosphere, nice setting
Cons: Food in the restaurant, did not have a good meal there
7,9 Good
Pros: F&B staff was excellent. Room clean and comfortable.
Cons: The pool and bar area is loaded with mosquitos. Severe pest control needs to happen here.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed here at least 8 times over the years while traveling through and in Belize. It is the nicest hotel we have found near Belize City that is comfortable, safe, fair priced, clean, A/C, swimming pool, pool service, a restaurant on-site, and is like hotels in the US in terms of amenities, quality, and service. We do not like staying in downtown Belize City and frequently we arrive at the airport in the late afternoon and just need a place to crash with no hassle, easy highway access and while we start to acclimate to the sun. A couple of years ago we took a car trip down the Mexican Caribbean coast, across Belize, across Guatemala and back, after 30 nights in different inns, hotels, B&Bs, and lodges where there were one or more sleep issues of heat, biting bugs, barking dogs all night, heavy traffic next to the wall at 4 AM, donkeys braying, roosters crowing at odd hours, and/or drunk neighbors fighting, we stopped here and I finally had a restful sleep. We decided to stay for 4 nights. Each night it was a clean, comfortable and safe environment. It was like finding an oasis after traveling parched in the desert for a month. We will continue to use this hotel as a first and last night's stay when we visit Belize. They have updated the exterior deck/bar and garden areas. The gardens and plants, while not big are meticulously and lovingly cared for and beautiful. Worth a slow stroll through. The buffet breakfast is pretty darn good and lots of fresh juices, good service, a kind supervisor, and an excellent omelet station according to my omelet snob wife.
Cons: An airport van driver racing into the parking lot while I was backing into a parking space cut me off from being able to turn easily and my car got really close to hitting his front end trying to complete the parking. I doubt it was a hotel employee though. So it is not the hotel's fault.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Remember Belize is a very poor country, the hotel stands out conspicuously, so not a lot else to do in this town. The staff are super friendly, as are most of the overall community. Use dollars, US or local, no need to change your money 50 cent one Bzd. Two water taxi companies, big price dinferences, buyer be aware!
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff were really friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. I also liked the variety of eating options within the hotel.
Cons: The internet connection could have been better. It took a long time to upload from my phone. Additionally, I would prefer more options at breakfast as well. What was on offer was very tasty and it was a good spread. However, more traditional Belizean breakfast options would have been a bonus.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing! The front desk sang happy birthday to my friend and was dancing and making us feel at home! They were pleasant informative and made me want to stay one more day!!
Cons: The bird chirping all night! Lol! Not the fault of the staff!
6,7 Good
Pros: I appreciated the restaurant choices on the property. There were not many options for eating off property that I would have felt comfortable walking to. We had both dinner and breakfast. The breakfast buffet with the fresh banana bread and omelet station were well worth the price.
Cons: The room needed updating and opened to an outside breeze way - like a motel even though the entire property was fenced in. Around sundown flocks of very noisy birds roosted in the trees along the breezeway. They would have made sleeping very difficult but luckily they settled down after a few hours. They began making a lot of noise again around sunrise but we had to get up early to catch a flight so it didn't bother us.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. We had a sea view from our room. The lobby was beautiful and the dining/bar accommodations were fantastic.
Cons: No complaints. We would definitely return.
6,3 Good
Pros: The staff was friendly!
Cons: The location was not what I expected! There were very few scenic views. No nearby beaches!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great!
Cons: The bathroom had hair in the shower that was not mine and the hot water did not work and I had to change rooms.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Good location and great staff. Good 2 for 1 happy hour at the pool bar.
Cons: Building was a little tired but definitely a good place to stay if you find yourself in Belize City before heading elsewhere in the country.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, clean, nicely decorated with paintings of local things. Historic hotel, and became Radisson later. The grounds are beautiful. There is room to park if you have a rental car. It’s safe to walk around the block; there are beautiful old houses in the area. It’s right by the lighthouse and Belize sign, and by the cruise terminal. Pool on site, nice bar by the pool. Don’t even consider saving money at the Ramada. It’s well worth any extra to stay here.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about it. They let us check in early so we were able to get ready for our morning tour. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the pool several times during the hot days. The dining options were very good. Not overpriced and lovely views. I would recommend this hotel over several others I’ve stayed at.
Cons: Nothing-everything was excellent.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Le Petit cafe easily accessible.
Cons: No guest parking available No assistance with luggage
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful and right beside the sea. The staff were either excellent, example Janice at the pool bar(!!) or not so great...some at the breakfast buffet. However the supervisor was extraordinary and made up for it.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved it, very charming
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property, colonial architecture, in fact it puts the featureless Radisson opposite to shame. Lovely verandas to hang out on at night and a fantastic restaurant downstairs. The room was enormous, and had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Pillows were plump and soft. Great experience.
Cons: There was nothing to criticize
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, room was comfortable, WiFi was good. We had a great 1 night stay.... will be back.
Cons: Wish I’d known that the restaurant is under renovations.... but hopefully next time will be great.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The good news, there are some renovations of some rooms underway. It’s very close to the seashore to sit and watch the Caribbean sea. Appreciated the free bananas, coffee, cookies and water.
Cons: Facility is old, furniture in the room outdated and used up. Washroom faucets and toilet did not work very well and there was somewhat a smell of moisture. The bed spread and carpet were dirty and not properly cleaned. The staff were very nice but failed warning us to avoid certain areas of town for our security (mainly Sunday when all stores and services are closed).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything. I atmosphere was great. The staff was amazing.
Cons: I really have nothe negative to say. Everything was wonderful.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Really comfortable beds!
Cons: If you like to have a healthy breakfast than that’s the wrong place, I couldn’t have anything as I eat plant based. But if you are not fuzzy as me with it you’ll be fine
10,0 Excellent
Pros: it waa very close to the water ferry the staff was very nice and accommodating
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were super cute and comfortable. We liked the staff of the hotel and it seemed by cozy. Staff was great.
Cons: There was no restaurant in the hotel so we when across the street and the food very wasn't very good at all. I think they are remodeling a restaurant, so maybe this will be fixed shortly.
7,9 Good
Pros: Good location to walk around and you can reach by walking the ferry spot as well
Cons: not much in the hotel, not even breakfast or bar. They gave breakfast vouchers for nearby coffee shop
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was huge and clean, and the air conditioning worked very well! You have a view of the water from the 2nd floor balcony. And the staff were super friendly and helpful. And the breakfast voucher for the cafe next door is generous.
6,0 Good
Pros: The property has a great location, free parking, and a easy, welcoming check-in. It is close to some of the better restaurants in Belize City, along with a quick walk to the Caye Ferries.
Cons: The room was uncomfortably unclean. From hair around the sink and on towels, to visible stains on the sheets, and a musty, unclean smell, I had a very uneasy stay and a restless night. Further, there was a significantly slow drain in the bathtub, resulting in the tub being 33% full only a few minutes after turning on the shower. Some may not mind this, but it is my biggest hotel pet peeve. I would not book this property again, or recommend it based on my night there.

6,3 Good
Pros: The staff was very flexible and helpful. We really liked the kayaks, paddle boats, snorkel equipment, etc. that were free and available to use at any time.
Cons: The bed was hard and the pillows flat.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great!
Cons: Lots of bug's (no see em's) so take plenty of bug spray
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place is absolutely amazing! The customer service is out of this world and the prices are reasonable. I cannot say enough good things about this place from the food to the wildlife to the people and the excursions, I would definitely stay here again.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great relaxing place to stay. The staff is great and make sure you have everything you need.
7,9 Good
Pros: Experiencing this new destination with a loved one is top on the list but we did enjoy the hospitality of the staff, the food and of coarse snorkeling the second largest barrier reef on this planet.
Cons: although the setting was very private and offered solitude, we would have enjoyed to have the choice to venture out in the evenings and experience some night life like dancing or simply walk the streets
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: The diving was reasonable with good staff. The dive boats were good. The dive sites all close.
Cons: The room was dark with hard bed. A matress on a wooden base. Curtains let in light early morning. Towels were material for bayhing. The wooden slat chairs impressive but uncomfortable. The pool needs refurbishing. Pool lounges either hard wood or stringed plastic with no cushioning for comfort. The couple they did have were falling apart shoing the foam. There was only 2 umbrella areas for the resort...they did have large fixed area near pool but nothing comfortable to sit and read. The meals were adequate even if they expect you to eat at 6.30pm. They have a BBQ night...this just means sit around a fire in extremely uncomfortable chairs and balance your meal, which has been cooked on a stove. The workers were building a pier the 4 nights we were there. So constant construction noise. They do put coffee etc on your balcony each morning. .as there is no facility for this in room . Airconditioners are old and noisy so need to be turned off so you can sleep. The do have a ceiling fan. The staff walk infront of the huts stairing in and saying hello. They are nice people but should not intrude and should use the back path as they do in resort around the world. The cost was $500 US nightly. I feel it should have been half of this for what was on offer. Also be aware they have a severe sand fly problem. I was bitten drastically on both arms...about 40 bites on each as well as back and legs etc. All tge guests were suffering the same problem. They say they are adults only. It appeared the children of the staff were allowed to play in the open resort spaces. I cannot recommend the place.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: The food was great and plentiful with a wild variety over the week. The cabanas were spacious and very comfortable and well appointed. The staff was always ready to serve and always with a smile. We had a great time. There were plenty of activities if you want to stay busy, but a great place to go if you want to take it easy in a relaxed environment.
6,7 Good
Pros: The resort is ok but nothing special. I'd not recommend it to honeymooners as the dinner lacks privacy (no white table clothes, candle etc). You're placed with all other guests at one larger table like on a field trip...Also you are being asked to buy trips. It feels a bit unpleasant if you only want to relax rather than buying sth. You're being served one menu each meal which was chosen by the chef upfront, no a la carte - again field trip feeling. You can take the Kajaks, Kite for free though and the restaurant staff is very nice.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was very relaxing. It is a small island with no other resorts or businesses and the only place you get wifi is at the bar/dining hall. This helped to get to know other travellers staying there. The staff were super friendly and helpful with anything we wanted. The ground was swept clean everyday and the room was made up while we were at breakfast.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely phenomenal! They were helpful, attentive, and fun to be around. The dive master, Freddy, was a fantastic guide for scuba diving on the reef. When my husband and I discovered that we both get very seasick, they made sure to bring anti-nausea medication in on the next boat at no cost to us! On top of the wonderful staff, we ate like kings the entire time we were there. I will say that we brought (and ate) snacks for when dinner felt much too far away after a day of diving.
Cons: Our only complaint is the bugs. The wind kept them away when there was wind, but when the wind died down, the sand fleas came. Deet does not work on them. I recommend using suntan lotion or baby oil on your legs at night -- that's supposed to keep them away. We also read that they tend to go after fair-, thin-skinned people like myself -- my tan husband only had 2 bites. The resort provides an insecticide spray in each room, which we used around the edge of the room every night, and it seemed to help.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and kind. They told me places that I could eat at and easily walk to. They stored my bags for me and let me hang out after check out.
Cons: The blankets were a bit small and didn't cover my toes.
5,8 Okay
Pros: It is close to the AirPort
Cons: Lady used my 2 credit cards for payment and said that They do not work. But in shops were working normálly. I had to pay by cash but after all They double charged my credit cards! I hope to get my money back
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The large terrace with comfy tables chairs and hammocks were my favorite part of the Inn. It was peaceful and there was always a nice breeze blowing.
Cons: It would be nice if they installed more electric outlets near the seating on the terrace.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I stayed overnight just to fly out the next am to the US. I wished I stayed closer to the airport -it's a good 25 minutes away. However, the private room and bathroom were perfect and I was impressed. It was really just an easy in and easy out and mostly i just showered and slept so it was perfect!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very confortable, the staff was helpful and can call taxi or provide information for you. In a safe neighbourhood and far from the center of Belize city witch is a little unsafe. Close to a supermarket and a convenience store. The hammocks were nice. Beer and water a available. There is hot water (rare in belize). Also close to the airport witch is convenient. Easy to find. Very calm place. Also there is some tours available.
Cons: I would recommend asking for a second blanket because with the a/c it can be cold at night. There is not a lot of people to talk to, that can be nice if you’re looking for quietness.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was fine. Close to a store. Not far from the bars or kukumba beach. They were very friendly and had great hospitality. The pool was a nice temp. Lewis was very hospitable and very sweet. Hes also a very safe driver and nice to have around. Def would reccomend the spot. They take care of you and have beer and waters available to everyone for a small fee. Not far from a bank either. Bring lots of cash with you though cause cards have a 5% up charge.
Cons: I was told I would be picked up by 4:30. Was not picked up. Also told Lewis would pick me up and it was woman who picked me up that I've never seen before. She didn't even know what I looked like. So I ended up waiting longer than needed before I could even find her car. I had to call 4 times to even get a description of the car or know the fact a woman was picking me up. I was told the person who dropped me off would be picking me up. I'm not from here so I dont have a local number to call so 3 times I had to have strangers call for me. The first time I called they said lewis would be picking me up. The second time i was still told lewis was 6 minutes away. The whole time i was under the impression lewis was picking me up when it was infact a woman. She wasnt given a description of me or vice versa so a lot of both of our times were wasted. It's just very frustrating. When we got back she tried to argue with me about it and I wasnt arguing I just asked her what was going on. Maybe she had a bad day I'm not sure. But it was a mess. I got bit up by bugs the whole time I waitied. But other than that one instance things went smoothly. I couldnt use my speaker near the pool unfortunately cause the walls are thin. So other guests would hear if I did.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Clean hostel with friendly staff in quiet neighborhood. Good lighting at night on side roads leading to hostel so I felt safe walking around at night. Kitchen facilities available and there is also free coffee.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location: 3.5 Km from center, but safe area, can get there by bus. Staff: very friendly and helpful, host are interesting Facility: very clean, provide with towel, basic kitchen, good Wi-Fi, hot shower and Air condition!
Cons: no locker
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The beds are very comfortable, the staff is nice and helpful, the hostel is fully equipped
Cons: The stairs to the third floor are very narrow and the restroom in Dorms is wired to operate
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great and they helped to book tours and prepare dinner. Would absolutely stay again.

Cons: The restaurant is not good at all except for the breakfast. They have changed to the Colypso and there food is really bad.

Cons: Facility needs a major upgrade. Breakfast was blah
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location and views from the room. The staff was very friendly and I liked there were many amenities.
Cons: I did feel the bathroom was the cleanest. The tub had stains and there was hair on the floor. The food in the restaurant did not taste fresh and the elevator is hot and smells like mildew.
7,9 Good
Pros: Hospitality and friendliness of staff (Rojelio, Beverly, Jodi, Andelina, just to name a few and the nice lady preparing breakfast items to suit everyone Front desk staff exhibited good customer service
Cons: More help for the lady at breakfast )She did her best to accommodate everyone in a timely manner Some upgrade in some bathrooms, (tub had stains in one room and need some caulking) Public restroom smelled good, however, (i went into a stall one day and the lid was almost off the seat, (nearly fell on the floor), some sinks did not have soap). Need some minor maintenance to enhance appearance. First impression is very important

Pros: I liked when I left to get a different room.
Cons: I didn’t like the level of bedbugs, I didn’t like the amount of shady people in the area (especially the guy who came up from the street to offer me drugs). I didn’t like the fact that the people who run the place are disinterested in helping guests find their way about the city (I was given a local cellphone to use in order to fend for myself). I’ve stayed in many questionable locations during my travels and this was by far the worst place I’ve ever had the displeasure to stay.
