Excellent 10,0
Pros: We loved our short visit here. After a wonderful week off shore with limited amenities our stay at Villa Boscardi was exactly what we were hoping for. We soaked in the large pool and sprawled in the large bed. Breakfast was wonderful.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Francois and her staff were positively wonderful and our stay was near perfect. The breakfast was spectacular each morning (Heidi's eggs in particular are outstanding!), I was welcome to make a cup of tea before we sat down with the instant hot water as well, which was a nice perk to get the day going. The AC in the room was a respite from the humidity and heat, and the wifi was excellent. The beds were comfortable, the shower warm with good pressure, and parking safe and secure. Everyone was chatty and kind and happy to answer questions or offer assistance about take out, tours, local amenities, etc. While I personally wouldn't necessarily come back to Belize City for any reason, if I were to I would absolutely stay at Villa Boscardi again.
Cons: The overall neighborhood is maybe weird, but again, I don't know where else in Belize City one would go.
Good 7,0
Pros: Location was great, super close to the airport. Included breakfast and jacuzzi was awesome to have. Host and staff were friendly and gave us great recommendations for food. Even called a taxi the morning we were leaving.
Cons: A bit pricey for a one night stay. We did not bring food with us to the room....halfway thru the night, we realized one of our beds had ants. Kinda late to say anything to the staff so not really their fault.Just kind of a bad experience that gives a bad impression.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: From the moment we arrived, to the time we left, our visit was the best ever. Francoise is amazing! When you arrive she is there with cold juice and cool cloths to help refresh you from the warm ride there. You are greeted by a water fountain in the court yard and taken to your lovely room which looked over the jacuzzi and you could see the ocean from the balcony. Each morning we had a different breakfast each day with fresh fruit out side by the fountain. Lovely! Francoise help make reservations for activities, called cabs, took us to places and dropped us off for dinner, and made dinner orders for us for take out. She even took us to get our co-vid test on our last day there and arranged our cab for the airport and we didn't really get to say good-bye to her. I can't believe all she did for our stay there. She needs a vacation for all she does for everyone else. Thank you Francoise, you are lovely inside as well as outside. You made our trip the best one ever!!!
Cons: What wasn't there to like! It was the best place ever. I'd go back in a heart beat. There wasn't anything I didn't like. It was close to a market for anything you might have forgotten and cabs are every where.

Excellent 9,6
Pros: People were super helpful and nice. Special shout-out to Gary who helped us get to water taxi quickly. Restaurant was great, room was comfortable and very clean. Super close to the water taxi so if you are heading to San Pedro or Caye Caulker the location is great.
Cons: The decor of the room and bathroom was a bit dated
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We only stayed for a quick night to catch our flight. It was easy to get to, and had everything we needed. The staff helped us get to the airport the next day too.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great location and very nice staff
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great place, people and location!79⁰9⁹
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Beautiful place! Our room was big with high ceilings. Air conditioner worked like a dream 🌞Easy walk to the swing bridge and the ocean. Lots of good restaurants nearby. They helped us arrange a tour to Lamanai and to order a pizza at the end of a super chill day. The Grackles roost near here and it was a bit of cacophony in the early evening. Made us feel we were deep in the forest. 🪶would definitely stay here again.
Good 7,0
Pros: Outside bar/restaurant was nice setting and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But remember, they aren’t open everyday. Everyone has The day off on Tuesday.
Cons: A/C could have been colder. I had it all the way up and it was only about 75 in the room.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The restaurant was excellent. The food presentation was good. And the staff was very friendly. The setting was outside and downstairs from the hotel was very comfortable. Would go there again.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like
Good 6,0
Pros: The property has a great location, free parking, and a easy, welcoming check-in. It is close to some of the better restaurants in Belize City, along with a quick walk to the Caye Ferries.
Cons: The room was uncomfortably unclean. From hair around the sink and on towels, to visible stains on the sheets, and a musty, unclean smell, I had a very uneasy stay and a restless night. Further, there was a significantly slow drain in the bathtub, resulting in the tub being 33% full only a few minutes after turning on the shower. Some may not mind this, but it is my biggest hotel pet peeve. I would not book this property again, or recommend it based on my night there.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Loved it, very charming
Excellent 9,7
Pros: nice location on the water front. The only nice, safe area in Belize City
Excellent 8,0
Pros: front desk staff was very nice.
Cons: thought there was a shuttle to the airport...there was not. Restaurant located downstairs was a bit odd....
Good 6,5
Pros: It's in a converted colonial mansion, which is very charming. The wide porch is amazing in the evening. Room and reservation ready on arrival. Room was very clean.
Cons: It's in a converted colonial mansion, with all the quirks of an old house. There's an odd split thing going on whereby the bottom-floor stuff (restaurant, bar, some other stuff) is not at all connected with the hotel. It doesn't seem to be a great location, but it's not clear that there would be a better location in Belize City. Contrary to some listings, there is no airport shuttle (not necessarily a negative of the place, but a shortcoming of the listings).
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location to Radisson Dock was good since we were on a guys flyfishing trip .
Cons: Checkout was not professional . No receipt . Extended checkout was offered for $200 beliezian .
Okay 5,7
Cons: Much smaller than the photos make you believe. Much noisier than expected.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Great location and had some charm. Nice it was across from a Radison that had all the amenities of a large expensive hotel - including multiple restaurants. Great staff. Large rooms.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: It was located close to the water taxis, and it was a clean and friendly atmosphere. The front desk staff was very helpful and able to allow us to check in early due to a change in travel plans.
Cons: The restaurant was only okay. The food was nothing special, and we were able to eat better quality food for cheaper elsewhere.
Good 6,2
Pros: Good air conditioning, local charm
Cons: A lot of Mosquitos in the restaurant - definitely put on insect repellent before eating. Food and room were a little expensive
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Our room was large so it was comfortable for all of us. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Only one restaurant to eat at for dinner. We stayed in Belize city to do some mainland excursions.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Our stay was absolutely amazing. It was everything we could have dreamed of relaxation wise. The staff are the true gold of this place. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you’re having a lovely time.
Cons: I would have liked to see some of the water on either side of the property cleaned up a bit. They do such a wonderful job keeping the grounds in top shape; however, a place to relax and float in the sea would have been nice.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: From the moment we arrived we were treated with kindness and a genuine sense that the staff primary focus was ensuring we had a great time at their resort. Jahnene, Oliver, Melvin, Wilbur and the names go on, make you feel like part of the resort family. The resort is large enough to have great meals and mix with other people if you want to, small enough to feel intimate. Your days belong to you, you can do as much or as little as you want. Some activities come as part of your package such as fishing, kayaking, sailing and some off island activities come with an additional fees that still represent great value. We lounged on the beach, sailed, caught barracudas and red snappers, saw dolphins in the sea, swam with manatees while snorkeling and got to ride a jungle river to the areas magnificent Mayan temples. All in four days. The food was incredible. We feel relaxed, we spent four days in paradise. Quite literally our best vacation ever.
Cons: There was nothing we did not like, however note that you can leave a resort gratuity which would have been the same as we had tipped individually but would have perhaps been spread better amongst the unseen staff.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The staff was excellent and friendly and catered to our needs. The food was delicious.
Cons: Everything was great. Perfect place to escape and unwind.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was so friendly and accommodating! Everyone was super happy and helpful.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: the cabanas were very comfortable, the view was wonderful, people were nice.
Cons: food menu was too restrictive for the price and for being in an island without alternatives
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. The resort was lovely, relaxing and clean. Loved it!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great place to relax, beautiful location and well kept, great scuba diving location and snorkeling. Food was great! Staff was very accommodating. Great place for couples looking for a relaxing experience.
Cons: Bartender was great but the drinks were weak. Pool needs work.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The meals are a set menu and served at a set time, except for breakfast. The food was prepared well but we would've liked to see more variety, like more seafood. The staff were excellent! They were very friendly and knowledgeable!
Cons: It would've been nice to have some nightly entertainment. We were there during the slow season, the resort and the island that it is on are small, so there isn't anything to do after dinner.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This resort was the perfect distance from the airport (20 minutes to the marina and then a 20 minute boat ride) and while the food and accommodations were excellent I want to single out the staff at St George's Caye resort as uniquely perfect. Their hands off, but available approach to each guests experience felt personal and perfect. There was no aggressive 'sign up for xxx package/excursion' and they also provided free access to several things to do on the island that did not require hand holding (although it was available if you chose it) and were quite fun activities to do privately (kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, snorkeling, etc...). I can honestly say that the food was top notch as well as being completely delicious. We were exposed to several different local dishes for lunch and dinner meals while providing a spread of options available for breakfast. My partner and I are planning to take a larger group back here at some point in the near future because we enjoyed it so much!
Cons: I really do not have any negative feelings about the experience. I'll say that we had some issues with bugs in our room at times, but honestly thats not the resorts fault. They keep everything clean and we had bug spray, but kept our villa door open for the breeze so was more on us than anything.
Good 7,9
Pros: Experiencing this new destination with a loved one is top on the list but we did enjoy the hospitality of the staff, the food and of coarse snorkeling the second largest barrier reef on this planet.
Cons: although the setting was very private and offered solitude, we would have enjoyed to have the choice to venture out in the evenings and experience some night life like dancing or simply walk the streets
Excellent 9,7
Pros: The food was great and plentiful with a wild variety over the week. The cabanas were spacious and very comfortable and well appointed. The staff was always ready to serve and always with a smile. We had a great time. There were plenty of activities if you want to stay busy, but a great place to go if you want to take it easy in a relaxed environment.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautiful property; really peaceful. Nice plants, friendly staff and bartenders. Clean pool. Available towels. Sanitary conditions. Thank you.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Nice rooms Good place
Cons: Restaurant inside the hotel is not worth the prices
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great service, helpful receptionist and nice swimming pool area.
Cons: Had to wait a long time for food in the restaurant.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff .and service were EXCELLENT ! The rooms were newly renovated and beautiful. I have been staying here whenever I visit Belize over a number of years and it speaks volumes about a company when you see the same familiar, smiling faces every time you return. Kimberly ( restaurant) and Yvette (front desk)
Cons: There wasn't anything that I didn't like.
Okay 4,0
Pros: You can tell the pictures on booking are old as hell! Clean but rain down,no hot water or pressure!
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The pool area was great.
Cons: The breakfast buffet
Okay 4,0
Pros: Clean, comfortable, decent food, friendly staff.
Cons: They messed up our airport pickup entirely. We had to wait at the airport for 1 hour, in the heat with a 2-year old who was exhausted from an 8-hour journey. Then they sent us a shared pickup when we explicitly asked for a private one given covid. There was no good apology or attempt to make up for the error either. Really poor response.
Excellent 10,0
Exceptionally clean, great comforts, appealing rooms with a exquisite yard and pool. Benefit was exceptionally great from check in to check out. My spouse and I were part on the supper involvement. I had Lobster Carnival- fabulous with three tails cooked as requested. He had the surf and turf choice- lets fair say the steak wasn't from any tenderloin we'd ever seen. We both concurred that dessert wasn't great. Breakfast had a really decent assortment of great quality choices.
Excellent 10,0
Located near to the Belize City Worldwide Airplane terminal (PGIA) and indeed closer to downtown, this Best Western Inn is the culminate spot to douse up the sun, have a Wicked Mary, and chill at their astounding pool (Best in Belize City) for a night or two or more. The wellness center is well prepared with a few modern cardio hardware in conjunction with a WiFi web. Found to encourage simple day trips (or more) to numerous astounding scenes on the mainland or the two major Cayes, I continuously remain at the Most excellent Western Additionally Belize Biltmore Square for a few evenings on my way back from Placencia. The eatery is amazing, so no necessity to take off the premises unless you have got not, however, had the joy of investigating Belize City / northern Belize
Excellent 10,0
We visited a couple of cities in Belize, several people recommended us this hotel. It is outside of Belize downtown, it is a lot quieter and safer. We rent a car, so you definitely need transportation to stay in this hotel. We really enjoyed the stay, the room is very spacious, clean with high ceiling. the pool was quiet and beautiful. We ate at the restaurant a couple of time, it was not busy at all, so we get served pretty fast. Food was very good too. The waiter and waitress are all local people, they are very polite and nice, even tho they might not be very experienced. We are very happy with our stay and definitely will stay again.
Excellent 8,0
Cons: Service was a little slow in the bar and at the restaurant.
Excellent 8,8
Most of the staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The ladies in the pool bar area were the only ones that appeared rude. The room and facilities were clean; lunch buffet in restaurant was very good. The front desk ladies were extremely pleasant.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff very friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed. Beautiful pool and courtyard. Food at the restaurant was decent. Location to airport great.
Cons: The power would go off and on sporadically. Gift shop credit card system was down.
Mediocre 3,7
Pros: Staff were nice.
Cons: The first room we got smelled horrible and it made me throw up. It also had flys. I asked to be changed and luckily they had an "extra" room and hoped that person wouldn't check in. Second room was better. shower looked dirty and bathtub was scraped. I decided to stay closer to the airport a day before flying back home since we were staying in San Pedro. Big mistake as I was so uncomfortable.
Good 7,7
Pros: The rooms and property were great. Really nice spot in a otherwise bad city.
Cons: The restaurant staff were inattentive and the food was poor. We had trouble finding the waiter but when it came time to tip she hovered over us until we finished....
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location to airport and city; friendly staff; outside ambience - pool, plants.
Cons: Light bulb out in room and, although I wrote a note asking for it to be replaced and placed the bulb on top of the note, it wasn't replaced during the 3 days I was there. Also, VERY slow tub drain and air-conditioning stuck at one temperature (cold) no matter what temp. it was set for.
Good 7,4
Pros: Beautiful gardens and courtyard. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good.
Cons: We were 4 guests in a room. We paid the extra rate for the 2 additional guests, however, they did not receive the complimentary breakfast and were charged the regular price for it.
Good 6,0
Pros: The food was good.
Cons: The level of customer service. The staff were very rude at times and not friendly. The room had a lot of flies and was not well kept.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The attentive, caring staff was a major asset. The buffet breakfasts are worth the extra cost, tasty local dishes.
Cons: My only negative comment is the VERY LOUD music from either the poolside bar or the night club. It is rowdy and attracts a lot of people from outside the hotel. Some nights it stops at 10:00 PM but on others it goes to 1:00 AM. Sleep was next to impossible. Of course this milieu would appeal to some travelers.

Good 6,0
Pros: Gaby and Ote are very nice and helpful. However they are getting quite elderly and are not keeping up with the work of the B&B
Cons: The room was not clean:dusty floors candy wrappers and dust bunnies under the bed, furniture and corners Ring of dirt on the sides of the bathtub AC Didn't work
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The staff are very kind and helpful. Food allergy concerns were understood and given proper consideration. The location is near the airport so handy when driving a car. Although TV cable coverage was unavailable, we were able to use their Netflix so that aspect was better than expected.
Cons: Driving in Belize city is a challenge because there are very few street signs. Taxi is recommended.
Excellent 9,0

Pros: Location. Nice pool.
Cons: Terrible wi-fi
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Hospitality is impeccable
Cons: A bit slow to respond using the app.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Very friendly staff.
Cons: I would like more food choices in the restaurant
Good 7,0
Pros: Did not get the room location we requested when we booked . Gift shop /snack shop in hotel was very overpriced . No mini fridge in room or ice dispencers had to go to bar when it was open to get shopping bags of ice. Staff was very nice . Would reccomend not walking into town on wednesdays when cruise ships are having people come to town you will be swamped by tour guides ,taxi drivers and all the other locals trying to get your money
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: dinner
Cons: A/C
Good 6,0
Pros: Located at the marina in a poor part of town. Few options for shopping or restaurants other than the hotel. Use this hotel only for the start or end of your off shore (i.e. Turneffe Islands) vacation.
Cons: Only one elevator and not conveniently located for many of the rooms. You may end up having to carry luggage upstairs.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Nice pools, good food, comfortable bed
Cons: The breakfast is a bit too expensive and over all the hotel is a bit old
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The restaurant, location,room size
Cons: The sleep number beds didn't work.

So, my spouse and me were trusting to be able to consider resigning into the Central American nation called Belize. In any case after going by for 10 days we have chosen it was a decent to put to visit, but certainly not a put that we may ever live in retirement. We were able to visit numerous of the Mayan ruins all through their nation. We drove a rental car approximately 800 miles and delighted in traveling around their nation. Streets were exceptionally unpleasant, signs were difficult to take after or indeed discover in numerous cases. We remained at an costly inn and found that it was a incredible choice; this Radisson is astounding. The Belizian individuals were exceptionally pleasant and enlightening amid our voyages. We never felt risky. We recommend that in the event that you visit the territory, be beyond any doubt to require a day or two to go to at slightest 1 or 2 of the Cayes (Keys), off their Caribbean shores. In the event that you appreciate scuba, be beyond any doubt to visit the Cayes
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Good location and great staff. Good 2 for 1 happy hour at the pool bar.
Cons: Building was a little tired but definitely a good place to stay if you find yourself in Belize City before heading elsewhere in the country.
Excellent 10,0
We stayed at this hotel for two nights so that we could do a mainland tour (Mayan ruin, cave tubing and zip lining) before moving to a resort near San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. Staying on the mainland turned out to be a good idea because travel times and costs for mainland tours are much less from Belize City than when staying on any of the Cayes in Belize. The hotel is well located as it is close to restaurants and the harbor (the Belize sign is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel). The service at Radisson is excellent. Employees are friendly, gracious, and work hard to meet all our needs- and there are so many of them to acknowledge. Lyandra and Jainey booked our tours we knew what to expect, and they worked long hours so we could access them before and after daily activities. We were lucky to have Erica from housekeeping keep our room sparkling clean. We enjoyed Jason's friendliness and lightheartedness when we first arrived, and he carried all of our bags to our room. Diana pleasantly shared her local knowledge about the country with us. Chris was a courteous and accommodating tour driver/guide who waited for us beyond tour times so we could take in an extra activity. We also had a waitress who was very accommodating of our needs unfortunately, I can't remember her name. We recommend asking for any of these people at your stay in the Radisson, as they will make sure your trip is enjoyable. The pool was adequate in size. It was not treated with chlorine, but rather with an Eco-friendly process. As my eyes and skin react to chlorine, it was a nice treat to swim in this pool. The room was smaller it is always hard for us to find good accommodations at a reasonable price because we are a family of five. It had two queen beds, and the hotel provided a cot, which used up most of the floor space. We had a beautiful full view of the ocean, the furniture was nice (the queen mattresses had a hardness adjustment), and the room was clean.

Pros: FELT LIKE HOME!
Cons: NOTHING TO DISLIKE
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: There was a horrible sewer stenge in the room covered with toxic air freshener smell, which made our stay really unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend this place even though the staff was really nice and helpful.

Pros: For a cheap stay, the facilities were clean and roomy. The location is very convenient, right off the main road and next to a grocery store. Lewis was so friendly and helpful, and talking with him was the best part of the stay!
Cons: The stairs to the third floor were a little difficult to navigate even with a smallish carry-on suitcase, but just go slow and it's manageable.

Okay 4,0
Pros: Location on harbor was nice
Cons: The first room they gave us was not clean. The beds were unmade and everything left from the previous people. Then in our second room, there was a wrapper of a used condom left in our room from whoever was before as well.
Okay 5,0
Cons: My bathroom was in a little bad shape. The shower was not working properly and couldn't heat the water.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: The breakfast was good snd the staff were very nice.
Cons: This property is very run down. Paint peeling, chunks of concrete around the pool. Holes in ceiling in restaurant dripping water. Garbage along water front of property. Mildew and peeling paint on outside and in our room. Bottom of tub peeling up, mildew around tub and shower. It’s in desperate need of repairs everywhere.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We loved the beak fest every morning free It was very good
Cons: No complaints at all
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The breakfast could be better..the fry jacks not that great everyday need journey cakes...creole bread/bun
Cons: location
Good 7,0
Cons: Your taxi drivers ripping off your belizean American customers by over charging them to go up the shores and back. Claiming we American that's her rate. That lady with van is a thief. Then she goes to water taxi telling them to charge us USA dollars because we American. Didn't like her manners and her abuse of money. Will never ever take her again and I will let all your customers know that she is a thief.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Except for the location. Nothing about this hotel is worth even 25 dollars per night. I've traveled a lot internationally. They will not enjoy a dollar more of my money
Cons: Second time In 5 weeks I give them a chance. Still disappointed with their lazy attitude. Front desk needs a complete overhaul with better training.
Excellent 10,0
This hotel looks outdated from the outside and as you enter however the rooms are clean and much more updated. Sales and front desk staff are very accommodating and pleasant. Ms. Matilda from sales is very customer service friendly, I applaud her. It is not surrounding many highlights. There is a great park, the view of the ocean is amazing, there is a casino in the hotel with very unpleasant staff, however the hotel obliquely opposite and the club is very friendly. There is a small and quiet Italian restaurant called midtown, obliquely opposite as well, they had the best food in Belize. The food at the hotel is ok, not very Caribbean option at breakfast, basic eggs, sausages, cereal etc
Okay 5,1
Pros: free breakfast
Cons: facilities were out-dated shower's only temp was very hot staff rarely smiled
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The food was good. We had the stewed chicken at the calypso bay restaurant. was nice and spicy just like we eat it at home.
Cons: Did not like that there is no beach to swim, just a pool, the deserts was not so good either.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: It was a nice clean hotel, good resturant, friendly staff. It is a safe place to stay.
Cons: When we drove up there was a guard with an assault rifle standing across from the door. The hotel is not near anything.
Good 6,0
Pros: Just minor things that is irritating. No plug for tub. Refrigerator had to be replaced. TV reception was poor.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: I did not stay here due to some bad ratings. I cancelled this reservation within Joe's of making it and they tried to keep $145 of my money. They sent me an email stating I needed to cancel the day before I made the reservation. contact my credit card to dispute that $145. Something is definitely wrong there.
Okay 4,0
Pros: -Cool AC -Armed guard with a shotgun -Metal detector
Cons: -Wifi doesn't work... I stayed here twice a year apart and the wifi doesn't work, the front desk will say it works, but it doesn't, they won't help you either. -The elevators didn't work intermittently, so taking steps was necessary (not that I cared that much, but the elevator should work). -In the area of the lobby closest to the elevator it smells like sewage -Breakfast is unappetizing and dining room is adjacent to area with sewage smell
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The front desk was extremely helpful and always had a smile on their faces, could not ask for more.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Location was nice and the sheets were clean
Cons: 1) didn't have my reservation 2) room key didn't work. 6 times. Security eventually opened the door 3) random junk in the hallways. Fridge, telephones, paint cans. 4) random rooms open with no door locks-maybe under renovation 5) changed room because key didn't work 6) no towels 7) phone was broken 8) AC was broken 9) changed rooms a second time 10) shower didn't drain 11) hot water worked 10% of the time 12) pool is very shallow and dirty
Okay 5,1
Pros: Staff was very helpful. Main facilities are are eye catching like most Ramadas Inns. Needs lots of up grades. Changed out a/c and the TV was not usable.
Cons: Old, needs major up grades. 4 lanes bowling, doesn'the work. Pool very large, hard to get to, lots of construction noise, no shade. Marina is private with very little to offer. Food portions will keep you skinny. After five days at various restaurants, not one great meal. The Casino was weired. Very few gamblers, not very friendly staff. Only visited it once.
Okay 4,0
Pros: the bartender
Cons: rain leaks from roof in several areas when it rains; breakfast and dinner buffets are really poor; they situated us in a room which on friday and saturday nights is above a loudly booming night club - music starts about midnight and goes until 5 am; petty theft from our room; beds and pillows uncomfortable; sheets at least a million years old and threadbare; internet very slow; hot water in shower luke warm at best; tub does not drain so you shower standing in soapy water. i hope i never have to stay here again
Okay 5,4
Pros: The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and the view was nice. The breakfast was nice and there were a lot of things you could do at the property. The location was convenient, but the area was not very safe.
Cons: The room was not satisfactory and I had to be relocated. The safe did not work in the room, nor did the cable TV. So I was relocated to another room. The safe worked there, but the A/C was so noisy that the room was uncomfortable. The property is also in a bad area, and we were warned that we should not walk around the area. What confirmed that was the fact that at the door was an armed guard standing with a shotgun. Plus, you had to pass through a metal detector to get in the property. The biggest problem with the property is that it is simply tired. There is a lot of deferred maintenance and things that needed updating.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Our group of friends got in too late to catch a boat taxi to Caye Caulker so we stayed here for one night. It checked all the boxes; food, bar, casino and other amenities. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice but overall it wasn't anything special. I'll stay again if I'm in Belize City.
Okay 4,5
Pros: location, access to restaurants
Cons: the hot water stopped running at some point, the corridors weren't clean, the faucet system was leaky, the a/c unit was too aggressive and difficult to control
Okay 4,0
Pros: Big Pool
Cons: Staff wouldn't let anyone check into the hotel until 3 p.m. sharp even though the hotel was super empty. Bathroom was dirty and didn't have towels. nightclub at the hotel was bumping late into the night and kept me up even though I was 4 floors above it. The pool was large but the area was poorly maintained and seemed abandoned. The lightening in parts of the hotel was almost non-existent and incredibly difficult to see when walking through. The shower had very limited hot water and the water would completely shut off several times throughout my shower. The water the hotel looks out on is murky/dirty. The hotel is very overpriced.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The hotel had plenty of amenities, complete with a great home cooked breakfast, casino, movie theater, and massive pool.
Cons: But the location lacks availability to any sights and is located in a poor neighborhood.
Okay 4,8
Pros: Paid $130 per night. Beds were uncomfortable. Room was humid. Went down in morning to get coffee in lobby and none was available there or in the breakfast restaurant. Workers slacking over chairs or posted against the wall not at all eager to help.
Good 7,4
Pros: Location
Cons: The hotel needed a major makeover
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Service good. Breakfast fantastic.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Breakfast buffet was included and good selection of food.,Room excellent very large.
Cons: Pool area needs to be renovated
Okay 4,8
Pros: the view of the ocean and the house cleaning food and drinks are good pool was nice had a club right on the first floor.
Cons: they make you check in late and want you to check out early parking sucks and they broke in my car and they did not take responsibility for it security are rude and have no respect they have no microwave lol really don't know why room services takes for ever their waitress are not train they don't even know what they sell on the menu just a joke they should be rated a 1 star.
Good 7,1
Pros: Great view, restaurant was ok. Close to water taxi. Room was comfortable.
Cons: No hot water
Mediocre 3,1
Pros: I liked the central location. We were close to the water taxis to go to the Islands, and the highways to get to other attractions were close. There were nice restaurants that were nearby such as The Hour Bar and Spooners cafe. I wouldn't recommend spending any money on the food at the Princess. Our room was clean and the housekeeping did a nice job working with the resources she had.
Cons: The place is filthy on the backside of the hotel. There is trash everywhere, broken out windows to the basement, exposed old electrical wires on rhe light poles, tons of smelly old debris in the water that was nauseating. The hot tub in the pool is not working, the pool itself was clean. The bar at the pool is not functional and has never been open according to the staff. The place feels cold and uncomfortable. The staff outside should be working and cleaning the place up, but just sat around all day. We were there for well over a week and this seemed to be the trend. There is no hot water heater. Your showers are cold. We went to the Radisson down the road for drinks and dinner and really wished we would have booked there instead. It was comfy and clean and felt welcoming.
Good 6,5
Pros: lobby was clean, room was comfortable, view out the room was good but view over roof was not good, very hot and smelled
Cons: Casino! was about 200 slot machines with 10 players. The only 2 Black jack tables that .were full. Mini Baccarat was not open ($25 us mini if it was open). This was a Saturday night, Hotel was good but Casino was not worth it couldn't even make a wager. Lots of casino workers standing around not doing anything. It was like they didn't want to take any wagers, never seen a casino like that before. Didn't make a single wager Plus front desk told me to check Casino about match bet certificate included in reservation, then Casino sent me back to front desk then front desk told me they don't do that anymore even though is was stated on my confirmation they did not honor it? II ask for a manager and they paged him 3 times in about 5 minutes with absolutely no response. When I returned to the front desk about a half an hour late they informed me he would be down in a little while. Ramada franchise should be made aware of them not honoring printed reservation confirmation stating conditions within reservation that customers should receive that they are not. Ramada is knowing marketing and not providing to customers promised and paid for services!!!!
Good 6,8
Pros: Location was Really Good
Cons: Over price for the quality of Rooms Bar area cieling had major water damage with mildew stains
Mediocre 3,4
Pros: Waterfront was beautiful and the staff was always friendly.
Cons: The building was VERY run down. The theater was under renovations and the fitness equipment was scary. There were electrical cords taped up and holes in the metal. The casino seemed a bit rough. There restaurant Calypso was one of the best nearby.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: staff was great! beautiful view of the ocean from my room and lovely view of the city from the balcony. great breakfast buffet
Cons: more parking for guests and friends of guests would be ideal. no warm water.
Okay 5,1
Pros: Overall stay was okay, location was perfect for me. The entrance/lobby area was clean and check out was easy. Everything else about the stay was mediocre. I would stay again just bc the area is convenient.
Cons: Nothing to get excited or rave about. The staff at the front desk at checkin were not that welcoming. Upon entering the room, it was muggy and smelled like mold. The sheets were clean for the most part, but the bed itself was in poor condition. One of the bed in my room was broken, there was lots of dirt and dust web under it & the bed shams were dirty as well. Staff were also not accomodating, I asked about the ice machine, I was told to come down or it can be brought up. I asked for it to be brought up, after 2 calls I was told I had to come down and get the ice. I also called down 3x and ask for an iron, and even up until I checked out, I still havent reecived the iron. I got what I paid for ....
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great view, wonderful breakfast buffet, super friendly and helpful staff!!!
Excellent 8,2
Pros: The staff at the Princess could not have been more helpful. There was a bit of confusion with our reservation regarding the number of people in each room, but the issue was resolved quickly and hassle free. It was a very busy time as there was a concert in town and the hotel was sold out, but everything ran smoothly. Our room was clean and had ample towels. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated, but they are in the process of updating and I am sure it will be lovely when finished. I live in the Cayes and always stay at the Princess when I come to the city. And of course the breakfast buffet was delicious as always!
Mediocre 2,0
Cons: was charged 3x for reservation.. hotel could not correct it. online booking company could not correct it.
Good 6,0
Pros: Front desk staff and breakfast
