Manager and staff were very helpful. Comfortable Good location and close to the Metro
The location is very good! While a serious walk, I did walk to The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and a few other places of interest. There is a metro station 2 minutes away and all around there are restaurants that served good food. Behind the hotel there is a more traditional village where you could buy all kinds of foods (if adventurous enough). The room is a decent size. The packing space is sufficient if you do not have to much to unpack. The restaurant and bar is the hotel are both worth visiting, and so is their spa! There are good tourist companies nearby that all offer amazing tours in and around the city! If you have the time, The Great Wall is an absolute MUST! It is about a 90 minute drive away. The staff are very helpful and I enjoyed the technology the hotels uses! There is a shopping street nearby with designer clothing (the real thing) at a reasonable cost!
I found this part of Beijing difficult to navigate and got lost more than once. There are very few real landmarks that you can use to find your way. I dove into a subway station more than once to find my way back.
The location is very good. The hotel is clean and the room is big (we were upgraded to a bigger room for free). The bed is very comfortable.
We were there after the 2020 Chinese New Year, during the coronavirus outbreak, so there were very few guests in the hotel. The first morning, the croissants and other pastries at the breakfast buffet were very dried. The following mornings, there was no buffet at all, which was a pity because it is usually pretty good (based on previous stays there). So we ended up finding some bakery in the neighborhood.
I thought there was a pool but couldn't find it
Great location. You can walk to forbidden city and it is right next to a metro station.
